A Truly Relaxing Couples Massage -- Great Pressure & Thoughtful Care We booked a couples massage at Oasis Spa in Elk Grove, and it ended up being exactly what we needed -- calm, relaxing, and surprisingly thoughtful from start to finish. Both therapists were excellent with pressure. They didn't just assume; they checked in multiple times to make sure everything felt right, which I really appreciated. It made the whole experience feel personalized instead of rushed or routine. When I asked for firmer pressure, they adjusted immediately and stayed consistent the entire time -- no fading out halfway through, no random switching styles. Just steady, intentional work that actually helped. The room was quiet and comfortable, and the timing between both therapists was perfectly in sync. You could tell they've done a lot of couples sessions because neither of us ever felt out of rhythm with the other. It's such a small thing, but it makes a big difference when you're trying to relax together. We both walked out feeling refreshed, and honestly a little surprised at how good we felt afterward as this was our first, but not last time here. It's rare to find a place where both people get an equally great massage, but Oasis delivered for both of us. I'm disappointed, because I actually like the massage quality. However, my experience with the masseuse tainted the experience. When she asked how much I would like to tip on my card, I said $15. She said "wow not even $20 for how much I did?" in a judgmental tone. Feeling extremely uncomfortable and caught off-guard, I told her I can do $20. As she's typing in the tip amount, she confirms that I said $15 first. I told her again that I can pay $20 since she made a comment. She replied "No. I'll do $15 since you're *so* uncomfortable". It appears some other reviews share similar stories regarding the tips. I get massages for a relaxing self-care experience, not to be openly judged about how much I decide to tip, which is completely optional. May I suggest increasing your massage prices if you're going to bully customers into tipping more? I won't be returning. read more

Underwhelming. I seen great reviews for this place and i don't see the hype. It's clean and the staff is nice but the experience was mediocre. The only time the masseuse was firm was when her elbow was digging into my shoulder blade and i had to stop her because it was dragging. Other than that i fell asleep because it was boring and i was exhausted. She also left the room a couple times. I wouldn't say it was bad but i wouldn't come back here. We called ahead and booked a Couples Massage for Valentine's Day. We saw it was over 4 stars on Yelp and Google, thought we would try it out. When we got there we paid and they asked if we wanted a couples room or a singles room. We said we would like the couples room. We are 2 girls, but we are married. Very often we get mistaken as sisters or friends. We got fully undressed and were laying under the sheet when one of the workers came to us with the manager on the phone, they asked us if we would move to a singles room because they had a customer that really wanted a couples massage for Valentine's Day. I said that so did we, and we already paid for a couples massage. Again, they were probably thinking we were sisters or friends, not a married couple. They tried to upgrade us to getting essential oils and I said no, we wanted and paid for the couples massage already. Through the curtain we could hear the workers talking to the other couple, saying that we wouldn't move. The girl said she had called days before to book it. We would've moved or opted for the singles from the beginning, if we weren't already fully undressed and already laying on the table. Sorry to the other couple, but this place messed up the scheduling on their end and double booked. And that's not my fault they only have 1 couples "room". Aside from that situation, the massage was under an hour because we had to deal with the scheduling mishap and it was only decent. My wife's massage therapist asked her about pressure and the heat of the hot stones and made sure she was comfortable, while mine didn't say ask for say a word to me the whole time. The rooms aren't real rooms, they're tables that are curtained off so you're able to hear everything from the lobby area to the other people getting massages. Not sure if we will come back again. read more

I arrived for a foot massage and requested a bit of privacy because I was placed out in the open. They wouldn't accommodate a room for privacy or use the curtain area that wasn't being used. It was also a one hour massage and she stopped at 45 minutes and I feel ripped off. I wouldn't come back again. They were nice people though. read more

Lulu is amazing getting my knots and tension. I do call and make an appointment before heading out there (to make sure she is available). The place is clean and the sheets smells clean/fresh. So far they have been consistent with changing the sheets per customer. They do have a service fee charge if you are paying with a credit card so I usually just bring cash. read more

Wow nothing but amazing for this place. My wife and I came here for a couples massage and Sarah / Kathy what can I say but exceptional! They both knew how to take out the knots and hit all the right pressure points with the right amount of pressure. Best massage in Elk Grove hands down. read more

My niece and I just had a wonderful massage!! They were extremely helpful and in tune to our needs. Vicki did my massage. I normally come to this place once a month for a total body massage. I've been out of the country for the past month and went back there yesterday. In the past there was a middle-age woman that gave a really good massage, using her elbows and arm strength to dig into my rhomboids and help relieve the pain. She does the same on the front and back of my legs and my arms. Yesterday I went in and there was a younger lady who just gave me a lackluster massage. She was deep into my back and then the massage ended and then on the rest of me it felt like she was just rubbing oil on me. Very disappointing. I will not return. read more

Good foot massage and when it was time for my back they even asks what type of pressure medium or hard. I like that. Some places just do mediocre or hard assuming everyone is the same. My husband and I went previously. His massage was great, mine was ok. When we paid and tipped, the receptionist said he needed to tip $5.00 more due to my husband was bigger than me. He paid it before I could say anything. We went again. He liked his massage. My girl gave me a lackluster back massage. She had me turn over. Never used oil or lotion for my front massage. Did not even uncover any part to. Left the sheet on and squeezed my arms and legs and rubbed over the sheet. Said she has been massaging for 15 yrs which is not believable. I decided I was done with this place. I told my husband not to tip for mine but he misunderstood. The receptionist asked for more tip money again. I asked for my girl's name, she hesitated then said Stephanie like she made it up. I said I will never return. My husband went a third time by himself. AGAIN, after he paid and was tipping, the receptionist asked for more than $15.00 because his girl "got tired" while doing his and when people go out to eat and tip, the waiters don't do anything but put food on the table whereas the masseuse puts their hands on the customer and relieves stress. He did not pay more and will not be back due to them begging for more tip than with pitiful eyes and for various reasons. So unprofessional and rude. No stars for me. I decided to try out this new massage place near my house, and I'm so glad I did. I've been to many massage places in the Sacramento area, and Tiffany gave me one of the best back massages. I have bad knots and aches and pains from bad posture and old injuries, and she worked them in a way that it "hurt so good"! I like hard pressure and she kept it throughout the hour.
