Best massage I've had in a long time!! I'm so glad I found her. Super convenient location as well

I highly recommend Amy's Massage Therapy to those looking for a nice and relaxing massage. I've been going to Amy for many years now. She does an amazing job and relieves the knots in my shoulders every time. She is nice and friendly, quick to respond and has flexible availability whenever I need to book an appointment. I always leave feeling relaxed and lighter. read more

Amy was super nice and caring! It was my first massage and she helped me get most of my knots out. I will say she did tend to focus on one side of my body rather than everything equally. But overall a nice first time experience! read more

Amy is still the best! I am always so glad when I come see her. She's easy to schedule with via text. She provides a clean, welcoming environment. Amy always listens to what you need and makes me feel so much better than when I walked in. So grateful for this hardworking woman! Also her prices can't be beat. read more

Amy is amazing! she knows exactly how to get all your tension and knots out. She's very friendly, clean and respectful. She really takes the time to make sure that you feel good. She is my favorite masseuse.! read more

Massage price is very low, however the massage quality is just fair. If you're looking for a deep tissue/myofascial release type massage, this isn't the place. However, if you're looking for more of a light therapeutic massage on a budget, then this is one place to consider. read more

It was my first time getting a massage and honestly it was an amazing experience. Amy made me feel comfortable right away and was very professional throughout the whole session. Before starting, she asked what areas I wanted her to focus on, so I mentioned my shoulders, neck, and back since they were really tense. Once those areas started relaxing, she transitioned into a full body massage and it honestly felt amazing. The atmosphere was clean, calming, and very relaxing. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. I left feeling refreshed, stress free, and way better than when I came in. Definitely glad I booked with her and I'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great massage experience. read more

Amy is very skilled and strong. Both my wife and i visit her salon for deep tissue massage. I visited twice so far and will definitely go again and again. read more

Amy is very talented and kind! She provides a relaxing massage that loosens knots and lessens pain. Highly recommend

Just left there. Wanted deep tissue massage for 90mins. It cost 90. Was there for about 30mins and decide to leave. Paid her $100 because she did dedicate that time to me. Left more tense than I got there. Her movements are so jerky and she moves erratically through each movement. She doesn't focus on one part of the body then move to another. I just couldn't see myself staying for 90mins. Heading to another massage place. read more

Amy is absolutely amazing. It is just Amy who does the massages so you always get the same amazing experience. The place is very clean and secure. The doors are locked - you need a pin to enter, or Amy can just walk to the front to open the door. There are also so many other vendors in the spot (she is located inside Solas salon). Overall the best place to get a massage, and she has very good pricing. Best way to get a hold of her is by sending a text. read more

I've had a massage long time ago. From what I remember she was nice, welcoming and contentious. I don't remember the experience fully. I will say if I didn't remember it might not have been the best I've ever had. I do remember the feeling that it was serviceable and that I'd go back since I've only been once. She's just booked all the time and I choose to go to other places because I'm a little impatient. But that's just me. I DO recommend giving her a try though. read more

Amy accomplished in 60 minutes what Kaiser and their little "physical therapy" stretching exercises failed to do in more than 15years...she stopped my pain. I'm a lifelong athlete of Obstacle Course Racing, punishing endurance events, and half-marathons, but I had never had a massage. I thought I was taking care of my body by staying active and doing hard things, but I wasn't taking care of myself on the recovery side. With her targeted massages, Amy found and removed all the knots that were hiding and restricting my range of motion in my shoulders, hips, neck, and knees. But most importantly, all the chronic aches and pains I thought were just part of the life I chose are now gone. My motions are more fluid, I have a more complete golf swing, the pain from my fractured spine is gone, and my workouts are more thorough and effective. I followed up my first 60 minute session with a 90 minute session, and will continue these once or twice a month. I just feel and move better just getting out of bed in the morning. Although she doesn't charge as much as most other places that I see here in yelp, this is some of the best money I've ever spent on myself. If you've ever felt that being in pain and sore is part of the program, you'll change your mind after visiting Amy - after 17 years of doing this, she knows what's needed to get you feeling right again. Make no mistake, this is more of a healing massage than a soft handsy relaxation massage. Tell her where it hurts and she'll fix the pain. Her little space is clean, smells great, and the music is soothing. Her hours are super flexible, even late into the evening, but she works by appointment only and only communicates by text. Update - I don't want to take off a full star, but I can't take off a half-star, so I will leave five stars with this fair warning: While I highly recommend Amy for her massage services, I will not recommend planning your day or other events around your session, and be prepared and almost expect to have her reschedule it. Of my three appointments so far, ten total appointments were required (all but two were rescheduled, with a few of the reschedules getting rescheduled multiple times). This happens even when scheduling two weeks in advance. read more

Great experience! Very professional and great massage! The room was very nice and clean! I will definitely recommend a massage from Amy!

Amy is a truly skilled massage therapist and she listens to her clients by tailoring the massage techniques to fit each patient's needs. She's reasonably priced and only takes call in and referral customers, I have serious back pain and after one visit I got the best nights sleep I've had in months !! I highly recommend her services! read more

I've never gotten a massage and was nervous but Amy was very gentle & communicative. I was very comfortable & her aura was really kind and sweet. Amy is extremely talented and I've already booked several appointments in advance because shes so good! I can't wait to go back! read more

I have been going to Amy's for over five years now. She is a true miracle worker! She always asks which area she should concentrate on and notices all my knots. I have a lot of knots on the shoulder and back and she concentrates on those. She is so observant she even noticed that I lost weight. I said I had lost three pounds but when I stepped on the scale after my appointment to check my weight I had actually lost 5 lbs. I have tried other massage parlors in the past because my friends gave my gift cards but I always left hurting. When I leave Amy's I am all relaxed. read more

Kind, friendly service and clean! Amy provides great service (checking in throughout massage), is very responsive when scheduling and works with you to get you in for appointment when most needed. I went in with a very tight shoulder and she worked out the knots patiently without aggressively leaning in and bruising - something others have done. She also offers fair and competitive pricing! read more

Amy's enthusiastic. She performs a decent massage with obviously practiced hands. But if you don't like someone talking to you during the entire massage, this is not the place or person for you. The small studio is located in a shared-space spa that seems to have mostly hair and nail salons. It is quiet, but Amy has to step outside in the hall while you dress or undress. There's an uneasiness about privacy that hangs like a small cloud. Though the price is professional, the atmosphere is ad hoc. You might return here because it's easy and close-by. Amy will be ready for you. read more

Went in today and got my first massage by Amy. I have been in a lot of pain and had a lot of tension in my shoulders. Amy did an amazing job and I feel young again. She focused on my trouble areas and checked in about pressure. The space was small but peaceful. Definitely will be back. Thanks Amy. read more

For several years now, I've relied on Amy's Massage Therapy, and I can't recommend her enough. I just got a 90 minute massage by Amy. First of all, she's so sweet and responsive. I like that I can text her to book appointments instead of calling. She mentioned that she is the only staff so if she isn't able to pick up your call, it's because she's busy massaging me! She responds to texts and is very personable and easy to talk to in person. Amy asked me which sections I want her to focus on and she listened! But she also felt where I was most tense and worked on those areas too. Amy really knows her muscles and pressure points. None of it hurt so I was worried she wasn't applying too much pressure, but I feel loose and relaxed and not at all bruised. She also asked if I would be comfortable with her stepping on my back after she'd worked the muscles more. I LOVED IT! I think that was my favorite part. Amy's massage room is small but not cramped. It's located within the Sola Salons building. See you soon, Amy! read more

I decided to get a massage due to my back hurting. Amy was amazing during the massage, she's very fun to talk to also. Very knowledgeable about her job. NOTE: she does not answer phone calls, it is best to text her. Reason for that is because she is focused on her client and doesn't want to answer phone calls during a massage. She has really good work ethic and prioritizes customers. Again, it is best to text her and please be patient :) read more

Amy was responsive and professional. It had been years since I went for a massage... But it will only be weeks before my next one. I highly recommend amy and booked an appointment for my wife before I left my first time in amy's studio. Do yourself a favor and set the appointment with her ASAP. read more

Great massage, changes her pressure to your comfort and need. Anyone with pain, tight muscles or knots... She can do it!

Still the best after all these years. Always feel so good after a massage by Amy and she responds so well! Thank you Amy!

I had a massage with Amy yesterday, and it was great. The massage was not so deep that it caused me pain. Amy enjoys her work, and makes sure her client's are comfortable. I have already scheduled my next appointment with Amy. Steph S. read more

Amy is very welcoming and the best massage and price in town. The "tiny box" described by a previous reviewer below, is more than adequate for the massage. It is nice that she allows texting to set appointments. I have been to her 3-4 times and she has only asked me to come in about 15 min later once (I think because previous client was late), and gave me good notice. Her technique is great and she will apply as much or as little pressure as you need. I remember I went there and told her I had a lot of neck pain from stress and she asked if I wanted 75% neck and 25% rest of the body. It is great that you can customize it. Another time, I came in because I had been experiencing pain all over my body due to a medical condition. My doctor cleared me for a massage although I was advised that it may not help. I went to Amy and she made me feel like I was in heaven. The aftermath was not so great, but I know I was taking that chance. She texted me to check up on me after and let me know that she had me in her thoughts. read more

I have been going to Amy for about 3 years. My parents also go to her for about a year now and they love her. She's awesome at getting the knots out of my shoulders/back. Sitting upright and working on the computer all day I can feel the tension buildup. I try to get a massage once a month as body maintenance / relaxation from Amy. She always asks what area you need her to concentrate on. Amy is thoughtful, caring and is a true professional. She always works her magic and helps me feel rejuvenated after each session. It's easy to set an appointment. Just text her your availability. The location of the salon is also very safe and clean. read more

Seemed promising: nearby and some positive reviews. Had a backache. Comments said to text for an appointment. I tried but no response. Called and left a message but no response. Maybe they are closed but there should be a notice. Sad. read more

I'm so glad I found Amy!!! All the Yelp reviews are correct and she does an amazing job. I'm not one to get massages very often because of past disappointing experiences, but I really needed one and used good ole Yelp to help me out. Thankfully I was able to get a same day appointment. Amy was very welcoming and asked me what areas I was concerned about. I had a 60-minute massage and it didn't feel like I was there that long. Her massage time was exactly 60-minutes so you definitely get your money's worth. During the massage she made sure to check if she was applying too much or not enough pressure. I appreciated that since some therapists don't always ask. I thought she may have not applied enough but was I was okay with that since it had been a long from my previous massage and I didn't want to walk away in pain or get bruises. After the massage I felt surprisingly refreshed and limber. All I can say is Amy has perfected her craft! I will definitely be returning to Amy now that I have found a fantastic massage therapist. read more

I found Amy on the Yelp. she had awesome reviews. I have back shoulders pain and she tried her best to remove most of the knots. While massaging me, she was texting and talking on the phone. Not a pleasant experience. read more

I finally found a masseuse after many ups and down locations. Thank you Yelp, once again! I have a found a very nice lady that works very hard for herself and family. Got to know her a little and just by that little comfort effort I already felt a good connection with her. So let me start by how to book an appointment! Just call her, if she doesn't answer leave a voicemail and she will get back with you asap! Her hours are so flexible, and she communicated with me via text to confirm my appointment the day before and on the day of. Very efficient. I waited outside her studio #10 (Sola Salon). She set up the room and there is a bed, very small lighting (perfect) and relaxing music in the background. She left the room for me to undress (I understand if you're new to this and you might be shy but don't worry she is very considerate and a blanket is always covering you if she is not massaging you in that area) and I've learned it's more relaxing and comfortable if you are undressed so they don't have to maneuver around your bra and whatnot (I do keep my panties on). Head face down on the comfy bed, she knocks to confirm you're good and then starts right away. She asked me where I would like her to give more attention to and I stated I was having neck, shoulder and back shoulder pain. Work, stress and gym life has definitely put a lot of knots there. She recognized them immediately and it was unbelievably one of the best feelings. She took her time getting them undone and not once did she use her elbow, let me repeat NO ELBOW was used. All fingers, hand or forearm. No pain and just the right amount of pressure! I did 60 min full body massage ($50). She massaged my whole body but I do notice she will always come back to my back/shoulders (where I wanted more attention) and I loved that! The oil and lotion she used was not scented (I think) it didn't smell overwhelming and felt nice on my skin. Oh and note I did not leave with oily hair and bruises like my last massage place experience. I left Amy's with such a lighter feeling on my shoulder/back and feeling refreshed! I love my experience so much I can't wait to book again! read more
