I am so unhappy. I wished I would have got the name of the person who massage me the first time I went there, because she made me return. However. I returned and got Helen. It was the worse massage ever. She was horrible. Kept the sheet on me almost whole time, boney elbows, and fast pressure. Never asked me pressure or spoke to me. Didn't even know what she was doing, I asked her twice to STOP. She responded with "you are in pain". Unsure if she spoke english to understand. No leg rub, didn't touch feet, pulled hair and scratched scalp, nothing felt good. I should have gotten up and asked for money back. In which they over charged because we paid cash! I know they have zero training, BUT she should not be allowed to touch people. I will probably call to ask for a refund and wont get it. I walked in and the lovely woman behind the desk accommodated me right away. I went into the private room and prepared for the massage. The woman who gave me the massage was very gentle, which I needed, but firm enough to get me to relax. This was a classic therapeutic massage with draping throughout. Called and was able to get in within 10 minutes. Lisa was my masseuse. This was probably the best massage I've ever had in my life and I've had many, including at several high end resorts. The pressure was perfect, I did not have to ask her to adjust one time. She gave me the best face massage, including my scalp and ears. She definitely made sure to massage every part of my body, head to toes, except the obvious parts. I was assured when paying that all the massage therapists here are equally as good, which I find hard to believe because Lisa was so amazing. Stumbled across this place as I was phoning several places to see if I can get in last minute (tuesday morning) without RSVP. Lisa was my masseuse, she was funny and nice. I grabbed the $40 for 60 min option and it was quite nice. (There are no more happy hour specials). She used good enough pressure for me. During the massage it felt good, but the place didn't give off a "zen" feeling if you know what I mean. I did not like the music they were putting in the background and I heard the washing machine and the door alarm opening and closing several times. But this won't stop me from coming back because it's still a deal for the price. However, next time I'm going to ask if I can put on my own music and bring my own massage oil/lotion. I am completely caught off guard.. and very pleasantly surprised to say this: I just had the most amazing massage and quite possibly the best massage I have had in a very long time! My massage therapist was named Linda, and she was so sweet and kind! And a professional! I was in town visiting a friend and have been having massive headaches the past few weeks... so I did a yelp search and chose Me Time based on reviews and proximity to where I was visiting. It was a quick and easy call get an appointment within an hour! It's a very basic setup once you enter, but it is welcoming! Linda briefly chatted with me, and then showed me the room. Again it's a very simple set up, no fuss, but clean and comfortable! My only recommendation would be to suggest a more relaxing music selection and a scented massage oil or diffuser! I actually giggled when OutKast's "I like the way you move" came on in an elevator music style cover song :) She is magical- she really took her time and worked out every single knot in my back and neck. Linda checked in often to make sure I was okay and the pressure was suitable for me. When she had completed the massage I literally felt like I was on cloud 9! My headache was gone, and every ache had diminished. I highly recommend! The prices are incredibly reasonable, and the massage is worth every penny! read more

This place is AMAZING!!! The owner recently changed, but the quality did NOT! I have received massages from both Karen (who isn't there right now, but hopefully she returns!) and Helen. These wonderful ladies are magicians, I'm sure of it! They practice traditional Asian massage, and they have incredible skill. I go in and feel seized up, almost locked in place, and by the time I'm walking out, I'm almost gliding, my joints are so smooth. I'm new to Elk Grove and asked a coworker for a recommendation for a massage. I didn't feel like driving 40 minutes to see my regular girl in Lodi. I was so tense....my shoulders and back were in knots, and my legs and feet were aching. I called and made an appointment with Jenny. I arrived 5 minutes early and was immediately taken back to my room, which was small and quiet. I got ready and then Jenny came in. At first I wasn't sure what to expect. Usually when I get massages they first discuss problem areas but Jenny didn't. This was a little bit of a red flag for me but I proceeded anyways. Jenny immediately started loosing up the muscles on my back and told me I was really really tight (which I already knew). She proceeded to give me a 90 minute massage. She checked in every 15 minutes or so and asked if the pressure was okay, which it was. I tend to like my massages a little deeper and she did that no problem. Don't be alarmed if she climbs/leans onto the table to get leverage to do this! The massage felt amazing and she found sore muscles I didn't even know I had. When she was done my body was completely relaxed and I had zero pain. I went to pay and saw that their rates were $40/hour or $60/90minutes. AMAZING! I paid with my credit card and left her a tip on the card. I was so thrilled with my experience that I booked a massage for three days later for my boyfriend. He doesn't like the deep pressure like I do. He said that he had the same experience I did. Jenny checked in with him on the pressure and he said she went hard enough to get the knots out but not so hard that it hurt. He came home relaxed and pain free. Overall I'm very impressed! Been here multiple times and have gotten massages with Jenny and Linda. This is my first review as I am new to opening Yelp account . Much overdo! I come back due to their technique in the massage. They tend to use mostly their hands and not elbow. Today, I gave 2 star. Linda gave me a 90 minute massage and I asked her to be harder on her pressure. I was disappointed because there was no difference on the pressure. It felt like she just rub the lotion on me with medium pressure. What's worst was I gave her $7 tips and she gave me an attitude about it. She said she rather get $5 or $10! This is the worst customer service I've ever gotten from her. I don't know if she has a bad day or what. But this is not how you treat your customer. You can complain behind my back but not in front of the customers face. She just lost a customer. This is my spot when I want a full body massage. I've tried all the therapist and haven't been disappointed yet. They all have really strong hands and the massage just feels amazing. My only complaint is sometimes they leave the room to answer the phone or to help a customer. I really wouldn't mind them doing that if they added more minutes to my massage. I decided to give this place a try because of the great reviews. I had a long and exhausting week at work and I was achy and in lots of pain so I was looking forward to a nice, strong massage. I came here with my boyfriend and when they brought us into the rooms, they led me to a room and said "the girl goes in here" so I followed as it was my first time. I like my massages hard so I tried my best to tell my masseuse to go harder and harder. She never really got much harder and she kept mentioning "you should have requested the room with the bar so I can stand on your back and go harder" ...I didn't know that was an option and it was my first time. And guess what. The room that THEY sent me to didn't have the bar so it wasn't a choice even if I wanted it. They said that "ladies usually don't like hard massages so we don't take them to the room with the bar". Which is stupid because they can't assume that. Just because I'm female doesn't mean that I don't want or deserve a hard enough massage. So I got through the massage terribly unsatisfied. When I met up with my bf at the end, he was just ecstatic about his great massage with the bar and Jenny standing on his back and thighs. So I tried to ask for a discount or incentive to come back and try the bar... But they had no sympathy. And just said I should ask next time. That was NOT worth the $40 and I left more stressed and upset at the situation. So I will not be coming back.
