Over time, however, it felt like the management style, particularly at the ownership level, shifted. Communication became inconsistent, and situations that once would have been handled directly and professionally were not. This was not reflective of the front desk team. Many of the therapists I connected with moved on. My most recent experience simply was not the right fit. I did not feel fully heard, and the session felt more rushed than mindful. After the session, there was no follow up or check in at all, which has never happened in any of my previous experiences here. I was tired of bouncing around, so I gave it time to see if things might improve. In the end, she agreed it was not the right fit. What was most disappointing was how it was handled. It took several calls, emails, and texts from me to learn that my sessions had been canceled less than 24 hours before my next appointment. The front desk told me the owner was supposed to call me about the cancellations and to suggest an alternative therapist, but that call never happened, and there was no follow up afterward. There was also a brief moment that stood out. I had left more than 20 percent, though less than the week before because the experience felt different. When I shared that, it was suggested that the front desk might not have passed the full amount along. That surprised me, as the front desk team has always been consistently kind, professional, and trustworthy. I want to be clear that the front desk staff are excellent. They make scheduling seamless, communicate thoughtfully, and create a welcoming environment every time you walk in. I am writing this because I cared about this place. I used to genuinely look forward to coming here. Moving on feels like losing something familiar, almost like losing a friend. I would still welcome a one on one conversation with the owner, as I would have appreciated that before. I hope the practice finds its way back to what once made it so special.

Also I believe it helped with labor and delivery being on due date and an easy one. Now in the postpartum I'm taking care of my tailbone and some pelvic soreness, muscle aches from breastfeeding and relaxation. It has been working wonderfully!! I highly recommend her!!

I wish more people would consider acupuncture for this condition! It's been studied quite a bit now, and acupuncture shows a strong correlation with symptom relief, including nausea and gastric pain. I experience substantial relief from Lisa's treatments and I can't say enough positive things about her and her practice. I have seen Lisa during two gastroparesis flare-ups and both times, the acute attack resolved within minutes to hours. (After more than a week of suffering!) Additionally, often during treatments my stomach will growl! I know that doesn't sound like much, but to any GP'er, it's music to our ears. My stomach feels so much better after a session the effects very much feel cumulative - so that I have fewer problems on a day-to-day basis with GP than I did before I started seeing Lisa for acupuncture treatments. Lisa is professional, her facilities are clean and comfortable, and it's very clear she knows her stuff. I appreciate her insight and intuition and plan to continue to see her for maintenance treatments.

I can't really express how overjoyed I was to find a massage therapist who was really good at what…read morethey do, who I liked, and was within 10 mins drive from my house! But I'm going to try my darnedest, cause I'm writing a review and words are, how do you say... Very important. Late last year I threw out my back at work, followed by my first ever tension headache (HOWCANPEOPLEGETTHOSEREGULARLY?) I did my regular "help I've screwed my back up AGAIN!" call to my chiropractor, who was able to reset things, but unable to relieve me of all pain. My dad emailed the lady he knows who massages. I was a bit hesitant because my dad has seen some pretty strange people in the past, I'm glad I was in such pain that I agreed to pick up whatever appointment Emily had available. It was one of the best decisions I made in 2010. I hobbled in to see her on a Saturday afternoon, I was surprised to find that she was not much older than I, very professional, and when we went over the little intake form her questions and comments were not only valid, but she seemed to take an actual genuine interest in how my (very physically demanding) job affected my general health. I have, in the past been underwhelmed with massage experiences because I feel like they worked too lightly on me- Emily was able to get in and really work the knots outta my muscles without it being uncomfortable. A good balance of strength and knowledge! She's now become the go-to for my dad, mum and I. I have finally been able to recommend somebody who is affordable, easy to contact and schedule with, and nice. She also let me know about a great deal this December where you could buy 4 gift certificates for a discounted rate and get a free massage for yourself - I was able to make my mum, aunt, and a couple friends happy to receive the gift of relaxation, while shopping local and getting a little something for myself!

So far I've felt huge tension relief and I'm able to focus at my sit/stand desk at work. Plus, my carpal tunnel has started to ease up after appointments. The space is warm, calming, and welcoming. They always have water and tea to help hydrate before or after appointments. Ball Sq is an easy walk from Davis, and there's plenty of parking to be had.

Well, I just finished my 10(ish) series with Daphne, and I already miss her! I probably would have…read morekept going for forever, but Daphne was honest enough to tell me that she thought I had reached the full benefit of the rolfing series. (However, she did invite me back for tune-ups in the future, whenever I feel like I need them!). Overall, my body feels much more elongated and looser. I actually gained an inch or two in height, and even my mom would be proud of my posture now. My core is straighter and clothes fit better. My shoulders are even, and my right shoulder (chronic bursitis from playing competitive tennis) feels so much better than it used to. I honestly haven't had any issues with my shoulder, IT band, or headaches for awhile, and I'm attributing it to Daphne's mad skills. I just feel... healthy. I highly recommend rolfing and Daphne to just about everyone. After a few sessions, you will feel great!

This review is based on my one experience for accupuncture only…read more So I had my my first experience with accupuncture yesterday! I had never done it before so have nothing to compare it to but think I can be objective about the service at Cambridge Health which was very good. My accunpuncturist (Marilyn) was friendly and thorough in her questions prior to beginning. Marilyn clearly believes in the medicine of accupuncture and helping people which got through some of my cynicism. She made me feel really comfortable and made sure I didn't have any questions or qualms before starting. I actually don't have any physical issues (knock on the old wood) aside from weak ankles from sports but it turns out that it's best to have accupuncture before you have problems as a preventive health measure. The needles did not hurt (a few stung for a second) and I could actually feel stirrings in my ankles from the needles in my scalp! The appointment lasted about 90 minutes but flew by. I am still not 100% sure about the powers of accupuncture but afterwards I had a feeling of euphoria akin to Peter in Office Space after hypnosis! I also had football practice that night and my previously sore left ankle felt pretty good. I know, it could all be in my head, but I really enjoyed the experience and made a second appointment. They are running a special right now- 50% off your first two treatments if you call before 9/15 so give it a try!
