I highly recommend Chiropractor, Dr Colleen Morley and Spine & Sports Injury Center!…read more If I could give 8 out of 5 stars, I would. My daughter has had neck pain in the last few days but it escalated around 4am this morning. She couldn't move her neck too much. So we began a search for local chiropractors who could possibly see her on an emergency basis this morning before her 10am class. We left a couple of messages on their voicemail before we took a Lyft to their office. Yelp showed their office opened at 7am. Jose, the security guard in the building was friendly as we waited patiently for a call back. The remote receptionist returned our call around 7:30am and said the earliest appt would be 8:40am. We took it and waited patiently... IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT! Colleen gave my daughter: Exam Adjustment Massage Laser red light Dry needle acupuncture ... exercises to do at home. She said that she would like to see her again in a couple of days. My daughter's neck flexibility and SMILE at the end of this appointment said it all. We left their office by 9:35am and my daughter made it to her 10am class on time! Colleen was friendly, professional, attentive, thorough, intelligent and experienced. I am so glad my daughter has a new and amazing chiropractor in Boston.

I genuinely look forward to my sessions and always leave feeling better than when I walked in. On top of that, Colleen is just an awesome human; personable, supportive, and genuinely invested in her patients' health and well-being. Highly recommend her if you're working through an injury or even just wanting to feel 100%. She truly does it ALL: alignments, dry-needling, graston, ARPwave, manual therapy... the list goes on!!

You felt like part of a family. Staff knew you were in pain, and they shared the same kindness, patience and understanding. Things have been very different since the staff turned over. The practice makes sure you are in and out as quickly as possible. You feel rushed. Doc says very little. His adjustments feel mechanical. He has no interest in having a conversation. He stopped listening. He goes through the motions and you're on your way. Staff is running the practice as if it's some kind of med spa. There pushing these different devices that are more like cosmetic treatments. And boy are they pushy, pacifically the one older woman on staff the billing clerk. Good luck with that one, especially if you are a female she will make sure you are rushed through your adjustment. If you aren't interested in the cosmetic procedures they're pushing as med spa treatments, expect to be treated poorly. This used to be a solid medical practice dedicated to caring for there patients. Now it feels like all Doc cares about is making money. Doc no longer cares about making people feel better. I expect more from someone who is treating me when I'm most vulnerable, when I am in pain and I am suffering. Just because I have been injured and can't afford fancy med spa treatments, I don't feel like staff should be looking down on me. We miss the old staff, and we miss the old Doc. It's a shame Doc is only interested in making money now. A once great medical practice has been ruined by vanity and greed.

I had to start PT within a week of my June 2nd doctors appointment. I made an appointment at Wellness in Motion at the University Club in Boston asap. I filled out the paperwork online and was early for my appointment on June 9th. When I arrived, the person I spoke with was ALL about insurance, nothing else. Was my insurance the same, what insurance did I have, could I self-pay if they didn't take my insurance! I told him I was on Medicare and he completely dismissed me. "Oh, we do not take Medicare here." I said it was fine, that I could self-pay, no problem. I just really needed to get the PT started. "No, he said. We don't take anyone here that is on Medicare. You have to go elsewhere." So - I wasted an ENTIRE week waiting for this appointment. I now cannot get into another PT facility until June 17th, further compromising my recovery. Why did Wellness in Motion not tell me this before? How about a phone call so I didn't go all the way over there to be told to get lost? I filled out the paperwork as I was asked. I have never been treated so POORLY. I am also a member of the University Club and cannot believe we are working with such an unprofessional group of people. I had to tell my doctor that I lost a week of PT because of this and he is not pleased at ALL.

So it is very easy for me to enthusiastically support and get behind the Tam Healing Center because they helped me NOT to be in a wheelchair. Sometimes in life we all need a helping hand and often when you have exhausted Western medicine's surgeries and medications, it is hard to know where to look. Many of Western medicine's treatments for illness and trauma, carry many risks and side effects, worse than the original condition. Acupuncture and other therapies prevent illness by optimizing your health and wellbeing. The Tam Healing Center is a special place dedicated to using alternative therapies to promote natural healing and recognizes the connection between mind and body. You will find acupuncture is at the core of these options but there is also herbal medicine, cupping, and collective meditation. As soon as you step foot in the Tam Healing Center you will be supported but encouraged to own what you are responsible for in the experience. There is little room for self-pity or "poor baby" here. However, you are listened too and people with chronic conditions and chronic pain are particularly well served here! Three hospitals and entire teams of neurosurgeons said I would be in a wheelchair on a breathing tube, "like Christopher Reeve," but instead I am checking out the Tai Chi at the Tam Healing Center and going hiking! But I'm going to try my darnedest, cause I'm writing a review and words are, how do you say... Very important. Late last year I threw out my back at work, followed by my first ever tension headache (HOWCANPEOPLEGETTHOSEREGULARLY?) I did my regular "help I've screwed my back up AGAIN!" call to my chiropractor, who was able to reset things, but unable to relieve me of all pain. My dad emailed the lady he knows who massages. I was a bit hesitant because my dad has seen some pretty strange people in the past, I'm glad I was in such pain that I agreed to pick up whatever appointment Emily had available. It was one of the best decisions I made in 2010. I hobbled in to see her on a Saturday afternoon, I was surprised to find that she was not much older than I, very professional, and when we went over the little intake form her questions and comments were not only valid, but she seemed to take an actual genuine interest in how my (very physically demanding) job affected my general health. I have, in the past been underwhelmed with massage experiences because I feel like they worked too lightly on me- Emily was able to get in and really work the knots outta my muscles without it being uncomfortable. A good balance of strength and knowledge! She's now become the go-to for my dad, mum and I. I have finally been able to recommend somebody who is affordable, easy to contact and schedule with, and nice. She also let me know about a great deal this December where you could buy 4 gift certificates for a discounted rate and get a free massage for yourself - I was able to make my mum, aunt, and a couple friends happy to receive the gift of relaxation, while shopping local and getting a little something for myself!
