For many years I've been to physical therapy so many times due to several back injuries and I have to say Rachel (from their Central Square location) has by far been the best physical therapist I have had. She is not just knowledgeable and right on point about a treatment plan that has helped me me get stronger and in considerable less pain, but she really listens to where I'm at in this journey and adapts my routine and talks through the whole picture- not just pain, but what daily activities can be shifted and identified for me to feel better. BSPT has been great. Easy parking nearby and T accessible. Jolene is very thorough in her treatments and looks at the big picture for treatment. She is able to adjust therapy to pin point whatever is going on. Ben helped a lot with needling on my arm for chronic pain and it definitely has helped speed up the process. The staff is friendly and space is exceptionally clean. Covid measures: everyone has a temperature check upon arrival. Sanitizer at the front desk. Everything is wiped down and everyone is masked up at all times. Would definitely recommend. I am being treated for arm and neck pain and tennis elbow. I have had issues with hip and leg pain in the past and would definitely come here to help with treatment for that as well. read more

When I started PT, I was a little bit in pain a lot of the time. I just got used to it. Working with Jordan helped not only the initial problem I'd come in for but also helped me feel stronger overall. Jordan was very knowledgeable, yet he knew his own limits. He was good at coaching me to always go a step beyond, as well as setting me up for long-term health. The PT area is bright and inviting too. I should have written this over a year ago!APOLOGIES they did so right by me the least I could was to write this promptly. Anywhooo I came here for two separate issues one a workman's comp issue, sadly enough I strained a ligament scraping gum off your a table where I serve.. please people don't stick your gum underneath tables I cannot believe I have a limp because of this! And then I had a separate knee issue from slipping on slippery leaves over the winter. They sublimely handled both matters! When I came in I was a little embarrassed because all the physical therapists look like Instagram fitness models.. and I look pretty much the opposite of one :-( however these folks made me feel so comfortable (no size shaming here) and so cared for! Yay Nick, my primary P.T but also shout outs to Lauren and Ben. They are so Dynamic in their approach to giving you care! I would not be working full-time again if it weren't for their incredible aptitude helping people recover from injury. A good friend of mine had it bad sciatica issue. I kept encouraging him to do pt to do pt and I was shocked that he wasn't getting any resolution.. he was actually considering surgery. He finally got some relief when he started doing yoga, I was shocked! Because here at Bay State Physical Therapy they are so holistic in their approach. They Incorporated so many different modalities I assumed that was going to be par for the course for P.T.. but NOPE these folks are very special. They really meet you where you at, kindness no eye rolling, impatience or intimidation, they emphasize strength training and stretching components plus some massage. They will guide you towards the appropriate home-based DIY care and structure your therapy in house to get you where you need to be. I couldn't believe that my friend had to wait to do yoga to really achieve relief. Had he gone to Bay State he wouldn't have had to wait for yoga for his pain to abate and his mobility and quality of life to improve. These tremendous professionals incorporate everything in their diverse skill sets and scope of practice to promote healing. The reason I say Nick was my primary therapist is because they are so flexible... and not just because of their athleticism but with scheduling too. If I couldn't make an appointment with Nick work they were almost always able to get me in to see another physical therapist who was just as Adept as the primary PT overseeing my care. I had a very good experience at Bay State Central Square. Kudos to Kayla, who was knowledgeable, warm and helpful as we analyzed and worked on what had become a chronic hip problem that had not responded to a previous course of PT elsewhere. I go here for physical therapy . The Place is very clean. I just started PT a few weeks ago . I can see that the exercises are working & helping me to strengthen my foot . I have nerve pain in my foot & it hurts a Awful lot when I walk . My physical therapist person is very formative . Help's me understand how to do the exercises without hurting myself more ! You have to wear a mask in there facility . There isn't any parking in front of the building & there isn't a parking lot either! But they will help you and treat you for anything that hurt's you! I definitely will recommend them for physical therapy! read more

Really disappointed with the billing. When I first called to make an appointment I was told that my insurance would cover the visit. Then I went on my insurance portal after the visit and saw I'm responsible for close to $170. Called the business and they told me they didn't think that was correct, and that my insurance "should cover it" and I should take up the issue with my insurance. 2 days later I get a bill for $168. The lack of transparency or accuracy was really frustrating and the high cost prevents me from continuing to receive care. I know that a lot of that has to do with my insurance, but I'm still disappointed in how this was handled. read more

I've been coming to Bay State for a couple of weeks now and I've already noticed improvements. Ben and Jolene both take their time to explain each exercise and are dedicated to see improvements. I've been to other physical therapy sites where the therapist has too many patients and don't have time for one on one with each patient. Here it's the opposite. Amazing experience here! I badly pulled my lower back and I was recovering soo slowly! Jolene at the Cambridge Bay State PT site has been the absolute best! She did an amazing job of listening to how I described my pain, and of designing a plan that fit my needs. Every time we meet, I'm feeling better - I don't know what I would have done without her! Definitely 5 stars to BSPT Cambridge! The facility is always very clean and the staff is accomodating and welcoming. I am recovering from a bad ankle sprain with the help of Ben. I have made excellent progress with BSPT's support! He has provided detailed, personal recovery plans including exercises aligned with my progress. I am very pleased with my experience at BSPT. I started PT in early December with sciatica pain and discomfort. Jolene has me on a treatment plan that focuses on strengthening with challenging but rewarding exercises - every week I feel healthier and stronger. I have always felt safe during my in-person appointments. Every one is adhering to covid protocols and the room is very spacious. I've also had tele-health appointments and those are just as great as being in person. Plus, everyone at this practice has a great sense of humor and they're just very warm - a much needed plus during these times. read more

My experience here has been excellent, I worked primarily with Ben but also with Jolene and Nick a few times when I needed to reschedule. The environment is extremely clean, safe and upbeat and the staff is incredibly friendly and caring. I genuinely enjoyed going into PT and now no longer need to on a weekly basis because my symptoms have improved so much after a few months and I've learned how to manage on my own! (I "graduated" which I appreciate so much after many years of chiropractors having me come in way more than necessary to make $). I started with Ben after a referral by my current chiropractor and he was able to come up with a training program that included stretches, weight exercises, massage and dry needling to help my upper back, traps and shoulders. My posture is better and I feel so much stronger. Would recommend Ben or any of the other PTs read more
