The absolute BEST treatment center I have ever been to. Excellent physical therapy and life-changing sports massages. I wish I had found out about this place years ago. I saw Dr. Kayla Serowik and Dr. Christine Frechette for physical therapy, and both of them were amazing. Not only did they show me the exercise to treat my issues, they also helped educate me on what I could do to prevent future injuries. On top of that, they were both incredibly patient and encouraging - therapeutic on multiple levels! I also get sports massages from Michelle Herrmann, and this has been a game changer. I have gone to a wide variety of skilled massage therapists (sports, deep tissue, Thai, etc.), and Michelle is the best, by far. Her massages are so healing and have helped my performance so much, as well as stave off potential injuries! Before going to Wellness in Motion, I really struggled to progress in any sport because I got injured so often. Now, with the amazing combination of physical therapy and sports massages, my body is healthier and stronger than it has been in over 20 years! Incredibly grateful for this place. A family member recommended WIM. I went to my first Chiro appointment today and was really impressed! The front staff was welcoming and Dr. Glenn was great. Dr. Glenn was really attentive, and the first person/provider, outside of my surgeon, who actually has knowledge of my particular medical ailments. It's so refreshing to meet with someone that has an understanding, especially since my medical conditions are so rare. My recovery has been frustrating, with a few post-op complications, so I was looking for alternative treatments. Dr. Glenn performed ART at this session, which he believes I can really benefit from. I have my follow up scheduled next week! I live about an hour away, but worth the drive! I do recommend leaving more time than you think you need for parking, as I had to loop around twice for a spot (and was a few minutes late, but they were so understanding - thank you!!). I have been seeing Dr. Brandon Carlucci since September of 2021. I had some really bad neck problems like hump neck, all my neck muscles were tight and were affecting my movements. He was phenomenal! He listened and examined profoundly. Since then I am seeing him every month. Consistency was the key & important for me to recover. Even though I do not have any major problems, I keep visiting him for my overall health so nothing will become a problem. I had a cold last week and he performed some cranio-facial work along with dry needling and my sinuses started draining immediately and I was back to normal the next day! I had IT band problem and I could not run even 100 meters. I had to avoid steps and take elevator for one month because the pain was excruciating. Then I saw Branden at WIM in brookline branch. 2 hours after my first treatment I could run about one kilometer with no pain. I did not do any running until the following Saturday when I ran 2.5 miles with no pain. This is not the first time I have been seeing great result from the treatment I have received at WIM. This place has top notch chiropractors. I have seen 3 different chiropractors since 2016 and I will not go anywhere but Wellness in motion when I get injured. read more

Can't say enough great things about everyone here. I've had: Chiropractic services (Ian, Brian, Brent) Fascia stretch therapy Massage And PT They quite literally do it all. Ian is incredibly knowledgeable, has tons of experience and is an all around genuinely good person. His staff clearly have a passion for getting everyone back to their activities whether you're an Olympic runner or just a casual jogger, cyclist, swimmer, or heck maybe you just want to walk around pain free. Ian helped me out with some bad IT band and sciatica lock ups during COVID and now he + his team worked with me for my meniscus tear. You know when you think or go to a "chiropractor" you assume, oh quick adjustment and I'm out? Nah, not this place. They focus on manual manipulation through active release therapy and graston which is SO much more effective then adjusting you and then having you come back next week for the same thing. I couldn't recommend anyone more honestly. I've sent 3 people there already for chiro and acupuncture services. Oh also, their front desk (Kat) is genuinely one of the nicest people you'll ever meet! Wellness in Motion has been a great resource for me as I have been training for my first marathon later this year. I have been going to Dr. Emma for chiropractic care since April of last year, and she has been great at customizing my treatment to pinpoint problem areas. Also shout-out to Dr. Justine who saw me for my last 2022 appointment that I managed to squeeze in before my health insurance deductible reset! These appointments have made a difference in the quality of my runs and my ability to recover quickly. More recently, I saw Kat for a massage and already scheduled my next appointment with her for after I run my half marathon in a couple of months. Typically, I don't like heavy-handed pressure, and Kat did a great job of listening and addressing my concerns. THANK GOODNESS for Wellness In Motion. Prior to seeing Ian, I couldn't run more than one mile before my IT Band Syndrome would flare up in my outer knee and I'd have to stop. Over the course of two years, I visited FIVE different places (3 physical therapists, 1 chiropractor, and 1 sports medicine doctor), took up yoga, did 30 min of hip strengthening exercises + foam rolling per day, tried multiple pairs of runnings shoes, and even took a 3 month break from running altogether. All to no avail. Literally within my first treatment with Ian, I was able to run 2 miles the next day without a flare up. Within a few months, I was back to 50-60 miles/week. I've been a distance runner for 10+ years and thanks to less than ideal running biomechanics, I've had basically every possible running injury known to man. Since my initial visit four years ago, Ian has been my go-to for quick diagnoses and effective treatments, all with professionalism and empathy (Ian also happens to be an accomplished marathon runner and understands crazy runner mindsets). Have been working with Dr. Justine for a few weeks and have noticed a significant reduction in frequency and severity of migraines + neck/upper back pain. I've been in chiropractic care for several years, and this provider has been the most comprehensive and effective one, by far. While I enjoy the typical "cracking" adjustments, Dr. Justine does a ton of muscle work (which I desperately needed), in conjunction with typical adjustments. I've been going to WIM for all running needs - nutrition, mental game and chiropractic work and every aspect is awesome Nutrition- I saw Erin for some pre-marathon nutrition counseling. I have always had significant stomach issues around mile 20 in marathons and they usually derail my race. I wanted to figure out how to prevent this from happening and Erin helped me figure out I was not doing my taper nutrition correctly and also was not taking in enough during races. I implemented her tips/suggestions and was able to get through my race with nothing more than a little nausea and did not get derailed! This was probably the best part of my racing experience since my stomach is usually such a disaster. Mental- I saw Emily Saul who helped me put together a race plan and identify my weak mental areas and ways to improve on those. I practiced her tips during the couple weeks leading up to the race and used the race plan we came up with and had a completely different race experience than I usually do- instead of getting in my head at mile 20 and going into a negative place I was able to review my plan, use my skills I had been practicing and keep my head in the game and in a positive place. I have never had a more positive marathon experience and a huge part of that was the tools Emily gave me to get through the toughest parts of the race. Chiro- I've been seeing Ian for various soft tissue issues. Like their website says they focus on treating the runner and I have never been told I need to stop running to get something to heal. He is very quick to identify the issue and the appropriate treatment and usually over 2-4 sessions the issue goes away. He gives exercises to use to aid in recovery and prevention. The Graston is your worst best friend in that office but it works! 6/5 stars read more

Really glad I found this place. I have worked with Ian Nurse for about a month to loosen up a dense lump of scar tissue following achilles surgery, and I am really happy so far with the results. I had to wait until I crossed the finish line to write this, so it's long overdue. Dr. Justine Paula is incredible! She has gotten me to the starting (and finish) lines of two marathons and kept me healthy all the way through. As a person with pancake flat feet and a right leg that historically has always had something wrong, I figured marathons were not in the cards for me. Justine turned that all around and is 100% of the reason I've been healthy running 6 days a week and peaking at 60mi/week. I can't thank her enough. This is an update to my original review. After the owner, Dr. Ian Nurse, saw my original review regarding disappointment with a billing situation, he reached out to me directly by email. Not only did he offer to rectify the situation I experienced with an unexpected bill, but offered to treat me himself. After three visits, Dr. Nurse has made an incredible difference in the pain I was feeling. In reality, it only took one visit with him to jump start feeling better, and when I left the first appointment, I finally realized just how locked and tight my hips were. The improvement I've felt in only 3 visits has helped motivate me to keep up with my stretching and exercise routine knowing that, with his help, I am heading in the right direction.
