Hands down one of the best, most customer centric companies I've ever dealt with! I'll recommend…read morethem to everyone I know and then some! In late April we decided to use them to build a patio for us that is 14 ft by 65 ft. Due to all the rain that we've had this spring it took a little while for them to be able to get started through no fault of their own. They arrived at our house on a Wednesday morning and today (Thursday) I have a patio. These guys arrived and the owner Doug accompanied them and made sure that everything we wanted was clearly understood and that his crew was well briefed. I'll get to my incredible love and respect for his crew in a moment, immediately the crew started work and my horribly unlevel mud pit of a yard suddenly within about six hours became a level well defined area for my patio to be poured on today. I can't even begin to describe the machine like precision in which these guys work, it's surreal. Each and every person here was courteous and respectful, professional and extremely efficient at what they were doing. They were communicative when we would have questions or just curiosity about the process, and their customer service is off the chart. Not only did we get this patio for an unbelievably great price, but had they not been the lowest bid I would have still chosen them because of the exemplary service that they have given us from the word go, even before they started the project. One of the best things is Doug himself even rolled up his sleeves and worked beside his crew! Now that is leadership right there. Now I want to give a special shout-out to each member of his crew as they really left an impression on my husband and I. Chris, James, Joe, Mike and Steve. You guys, WOW! You guys are amazing, seriously, you're all so sweet, so good at what you do, you work your tails off and are truly respected by us and appreciated. I hope you all know that people like you are what make this world work, the working hands are the hands that keep it running and you are so important. Chris, you sir are such a good person, my husband told me about you and the extra things you've done and offer to do still. I want to say that you're a very special man and I thank you for the heartwarming words and respect you showed to my husband, he like most all other veterans is still so humbled by people that thank him for his service as they don't see themselves as the heroes they are. But I want you to know the universe is brighter with you in it. I could write you pages on the things I love about Ortmann concrete and their business, but I'll close with this, they have customers for life with us and I'll recommend them to everyone.

After some research, we felt good about calling Terry and the crew and scheduled them to come out for a quote. When we met with Terry to get his vision for a retaining wall; he was friendly and knew what we wanted from the start. He was able to match the brick work that was already pre-existing in the back of our house; which was a plus! Terry and his crew scheduled a time to come out to work on the wall; and they made it look awesome! They made sure to include drainage areas and the tiered looks is just what we wanted for the steep incline in our yard. Not only do we use GLC for our retaining wall, we also use them to treat our yard and do most of the yard work. When we first moved in, our yard was filled with mostly weeds and we had a "grub" problem. Well, with their help, our yard is looking better and the grass is actually green and well taken care of! They do all sorts of treatment throughout the year for us at a decent rate and we are so lucky to have them come out to mow the lawn too! When the crew arrives for lawn service, they get things done pretty quickly and always make sure to clean up after themselves. Overall, we will continue to use GLC and are happy to recommend this company to anyone! We have only had positive experiences with them right from the start. Thanks guys and Thanks Terry for helping our "curb appeal"!

I would never recommend this company to anyone. Never. I paid $30,000 to Foundation Recovery…read moreSystems to fix a flooding basement, and here I am months later; still flooded. Still leaking. Nothing was actually fixed. I trusted them because I saw their commercials everywhere and figured a company that big would know what they were doing. I was wrong. They came in, did their "assessment," and told me exactly what needed to be done. I paid for two walls to be repaired. When it was done, I thought the nightmare was finally over. It wasn't. The water still comes in at every edge; it's the exact same places they told me they were sealing. When I actually looked at what they'd done, it wasn't a real repair at all. It looked like plastic sheeting stapled up behind the wall. For $30,000. I am a senior, and I feel like I was taken advantage of and scammed by this company. Now there's mold growing in my basement because of their failed work. I have a tenant living there, and she is pregnant. Black mold is not something you can ignore; it's a real health risk for her and her baby. This wasn't a minor issue. This should have been fixed correctly the first time for that kind of money. I am so disappointed and honestly disgusted. I trusted a company with a name that sounds official and reliable, "Foundation Recovery Systems," and instead I got a sloppy, careless, incomplete job that left my home in worse shape than before, with a health hazard on top of it. Do not make the same mistake I did. Get someone else. Get a real inspection. Do not trust this company with your home or your money.
