John's Moving Service saved me when I got into bind and needed to pack my house immediately. The "friend" that was hired to pack the house was failing miserably after 3 days. I called John's Moving Service and they had (2) guys at my house within the hour. Two hours later, my 3 bedroom house was packed. They did such a great job that I hired them to move everything to the new house. I will be keeping John's number handy. I highly recommend their work. read more

Highly recommended!! I called John last minute and he showed up an hour earlier than the given time to help us out! Him and his partner matt helped my fiancé move all items and have us done with the heavy work load within 4 hours! They kept it completely professional and gave us a great rate! I would defiantly hire them again in a heart beat! If you're looking for great customer service and need things done on time they're definitely the duo to call! read more

Great service! Was fast, careful, and super nice! Would definitely recommend to any other individuals who plan on moving.

John is really friendly and efficient. He stayed until the job was done at 9:30 pm. Definitely recommend!

John's Moving Service just moved a few pieces of furniture from Modesto to my son's house in East Bay. They did an excellent job. They are very careful and meticulous. Their prices depend how much time they spend. If you have expensive furniture, ask them to take time and protect with bubbles, and moving blanket, you pay more but they will do excellent job for you , it well worth it. If you want to save money, they can do it faster, but you should not complain about dent or damage. I will definitely use them again, and will recommend them with no reservation. Thank you all, John, Adam and Ethan! read more

John's Moving Service did an excellent job for us. We called him at 12:00 and he confirmed an appointment for us on the same day. They were punctual to the appointment and worked very efficiently and quickly. Both he and Adam unpackaged and assembled our furniture and were done within an hour. The speed of a person's work is not as important to me as the quality and these guys did a great job. This job was no easy task. They had a lot of heavy lifting, but handled it with ease. They were also very personable and polite. Lastly, their fee for the service was very reasonable. We will definitely use them again for future work. Thanks John and Adam. read more

I am impressed with John's response time. He is very busy, but made himself available for me in short notice for a Saturday move. One item was extremely heavy and difficult to move around tight staircase, but he and his team worked effectively and smooth. They were very careful and there was not damage or scratches anywhere. I highly recommend them and will not hesitate to use them again for my future projects or moves. read more

This review is long overdue for a move that happened on 06/29/19. Five stars doesn't begin to say how happy I was about John's help. Initially, I met John when I purchased a dining table, side board, and china hutch that needed to be moved from Riverbank to Oakdale (temporarely moved to a neighbor) pending purchase of a new house. John and his crew (Adam, Ethan, Matt, Jonathen & Ricardo) helped me move from a townhouse to a single-family home across the street along with the help of friends and my realtor. Tremendously happy about all their hardwork, from care and consideration to set up beds, dressers, furniture placement, carefully move my dining set and china hutch, etc. A day or two later, I realized that we had forgotten to attach two sideboards and hutches and get them moved against the wall. John came back with one of his crew and made it right at no additional charge. The move was stressful for me as I was recovering from a hip replacement and could not lift more than 25 lbs. At times I was so exhausted and John was so calm, he and his crew kept me centered and helped keep me sane. That alone was worth it's weight in gold and he worked with me on a reasonable price too. John is just an all around good guy. I would definitely refer John and his crew to others and use them again. read more

We called John at the last minute to help move my sister out of her home after a foreclosure. He was extremely attentive to our needs and responded immediately to our requests. John and his crew did a great job on my move. They got it done fast. And I didn't get a large storage unit. But they managed to fit all my things in there. With room left. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future. read more

I was moving in to a house , had my furniture in storage , called requested a quote , John responded back withing the hour , while I was waiting I called a few other moving company's, by far the best prices. I was very surprised how fast the move was done , and more importantly how careful they were with my furniture, hopefully I dont move anytime soon , but will definitely call John again read more

No job is too small for John. He helped us move a heavy bed from garage to a room. I made an inquiry using different companies but most wanted at least 3 hr work and charge more than 100 no matter how small a job is. But for John he was willing to do the work same day for cheaper price. I was also very happy with his work. He has an experience and knowledge how to get it done fast and professionally. read more

John, thank you so much for helping my family and I out this past weekend. My father hurt himself and we had to hire movers. John was given 24 hour notice, provided prompt amount for the work required and asked when I would like him to arrive. John arrived with Marlon his helper 5 mins before the start time. We were able to complete the project in under 2 hours. No damage to the house and even helped with the assembly of some items. I have retained the services of John for another project at the end of the month. Thank you and please use John's moving service. read more

John is super nice and patience. I contact him in the very early morning around 7am for unloading my moving truck coming in the afternoon 2-6pm. I need 2 helpers. He offer a very reasonable price and I accept. He was ready and waiting for my call from 2 pm. My truck company kept changing the time to "after 4" then "we will be there 6" and finally arrived 6:45pm! I was frustrated but John replied, " no worry, we can wait". He and his partner were very professional and we finished in 30 min! He didn't ask more, still keep the price. He is very reliable! I will recommend his service! Thank you John! read more

Called and needed some items moved on short notice. John was professional, prompt and courteous. Would recommend this service.

John and his friend Adam helped me to move 4 bedrooms and my living and dining room furniture into my garage in preparation for the hardwood floors to be refinished. They were done in less than 3 hours, were professional, courteous, and everything was moved without a single bit of damage. John is very respectful and prices his jobs very fairly. Cash only family run business. I would highly recommend him for all your moving needs - THANKS, JOHN AND ADAM! :) read more
