They do everything without gloves not a single person had any on and they were available on a wall. My family and I stopped to eat lunch here while traveling. We got 4 small personal pizzas and everybody loved them. The pizzas all came out at the same time and were hot, fresh, and loaded with toppings. The staff were very friendly and personable. I have eaten here once for myself. I ordered some bacon cheesesticks which were okay. The service is slow and they are not too polite. I have picked up several orders here delivering through Doordash and the orders are NEVER ready on time. Maybe the pizza is better, but I am not sure. Probably wont try it out. read more

Good pizza. Was the best in Ruston (although it's a local chain). The biggest issue is the company itself. Within the last 12-18 months, the company went "corporate". Meaning the quality of ingredients dropped. The sauce isn't as good, and the taste isn't as good overall. Used to be the same every time you ordered. Now it's spotty. Sometimes it's right and others they leave stuff out or don't cook it right. Plus, the new logo is awful. Looks nothing like the namesake. A little pricey, but they do have a lunch buffet that's cheaper. Depending on when you order will determine length of delivery. Usually faster if you carry out. They have online ordering, but doesn't always give you delivery options. Tell them well done if you want the cheese to be a little browner. read more

The muffalettas are are toasted to perfection and taste great. The cheesesticks are topped with a generous helping of cheese. The first few pizzas I had from here were delicious and on point! The delivery guys are so nice and professional! However, over the past year my pizzas began to be hit or miss. Unfortunately now they've turned into straight misses. I don't understand what's happened and I'm saddened with this turn of events as the food choices in Ruston are already seriously low. Now I have to scratch this place off my list. My last few pizzas tasted like what I'd imagine cardboard to taste like. They're just bland. Yes Yes Yes Yes YES! I just went today for the lunch buffet, and it cost $15.00 for two with drinks! What a deal! They have like 12 or 10 pizzas to choose from with all sorts of toppings. Then they have mac and cheese, breadsticks with nacho cheese and marina sauce, a salad bar, then a pretty extensive desert bar. it is a great atmosphere and pizzas come out quick which are pipping hot!! My favorite pizza at Johnny's is the classic Pepperoni!! It is just so freaking good. I love Johnny's and it never fails to disappoint me. read more

Lunch Buffet was great! There was plenty of pizza options and never empty. Pizza dessert was also delicious. Best pizza chain in the state of Louisiana. Domino's, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars and others are seriously lacking compared to Johnny's. The flavor of the crust is excellent. I didn't know you could screw up pizza, but this place did. We had a group of five and we're ALL disappointed. The crust is strange. The dessert choices were plentiful but stale and gross. Incompetence abounds. 15 minute wait grew to 30 After i arrived to pickup my take out order.

I would give this place zero stars but it makes me give them at least one so one is all they will get. My experience started out by waiting 45 minutes for my pizza. Then when I went to the counter and asked about my pizza, I was told that they didn't even have a ticket for my pizza. So after 45 minutes my pizza hadn't even been started yet. So once they find out that they lost my ticket and haven't made my pizza yet, the next logical thing to do is to rush the pizza you forgot about out right? Nope not what Johnny's did. They took their time and didn't seem like they were very worried about it. After another 15 minutes (now at an hour I've been waiting for my pizza), I go back to the counter to check on my pizza and the wonderfully nice response I got was its in the oven. At that point I just told the manager (who is who I had been talking to about my late pizza the whole time) that I wanted a refund and I was leaving. She then wants to give me an attitude and get mad cuz I'm asking for my money back after they screwed up. By far this was the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. These people had absolutely no regard for their customers whatsoever. I will never in my life chose to eat at this establishment again, and if you are considering it you should quickly decide to just order Pizza Hut instead and save yourself this shitty experience. read more

I ordered via telephone a large Sweep the kitchen and a medium 3 topping pizza tonight. I was told it would take about 20 minutes. I drove from Quitman to Johnny's and arrived there almost 30 minutes after I placed the order. My order was not ready and I was told it would be a few minutes. I waited another 35 minutes before getting my order. I drove home arriving about 20 minutes later and the pizza was room temperature. I am not pleased with the service or with the almost cold pizza I purchased tonight. read more
