We like to load up our dogs in our Jeep and run into town to get Newk's take out to eat in our Jeep. We always grab a package of breadsticks for the dogs to share. My husband and I like their chicken salad sandwich (I like to add a few of their sweet pickles) and the SunChips along with a bottle of sparkling water! But I REALLY miss the multigrain bread! We go to this location about twice a week. Service and food are consistent. Usually the food is out in less than 10 minutes. The only time you'll wait longer is if they are swamped. The dining area is always clean and the bathrooms are super clean. They don't always have the grab n go fully stocked but they will make whatever is missing for you in a flash! This is a Panera-like restaurant. There seems to be lots of parking. There is seating both indoor and outdoor. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. They have a sink outside the bathroom - brilliant idea. It was reasonably priced and the food was good. Good place to eat if you are in the local area. read more

I always love Newks, but my most recent visit was not what I am used to. I ordered two Greek salads, with salmon on one of the salads. First of all, I could pick up the salmon with my fork in one piece (salmon is supposed to be flakey) and it was hard. I tried the salmon and it tasted way too fishy with no seasoning and rubberish. I couldn't finish the filet. I was going to take it back and ask for a refund but I work in the food industry so I decided to let it go because I know it can be a pain. This wasn't the first time I had ordered salmon from there and extremely disliked it, but I decided to give them another try. On one of the Greek salads, the tomatoes were completely rotten. They had black holes in them. After taking the tomatoes out and throwing the salmon in the trash, everything was fine. My suggestion to this place is to go through a quality check before serving the food, and find a better salmon distributor! read more
