So we ordered that, with half regular red sauce and half BBQ sauce. Like swirled together. It was excellent! We also got an order of (4) St. Louis style ribs. The ribs MELTED in our mouths. It was tender and delicious. I used the bbq sauce to dip my pizza, and it was a delicious meal! Service was wonderful! The owner greeted us as we entered the door. And if you go on a Sunday, they have fried chicken which smelled *amazing*! I'm pretty sure, anything you eat here will be really tasty.

We tried the BBQ Sausage platter, and the BBQ Brisket Sandwich. Both of them were pretty good and a big portion size. The sausage had a lot of flavor and both meals came out fresh and hot- our favorite side was probably the fries but the potato salad and greens were also good. Service was decent, was sad I couldn't get just a "brisket platter" and only the sandwich, as the brisket platters are apparently exclusive for a "catering menu". Overall, it's a nice, smaller sized bar type restaurant with a stage, so I assume they have live music on certain nights as well.

The food was delicious, generous portions, and there was a huge beer selection plus a full bar. The highlight of the evening was our server, Lulu. She was so attentive, friendly, and genuinely kind -- checking on us often, keeping us updated on our food, and taking time to chat with us. She truly made our dinner a 5-star experience. We'll definitely be back!

We were both pleasantly surprised at the decor, menu, etc. Reminded us of County Donegal. I started w Stella, Seamus w water. We then split a basket of fried mushrooms w "shamrock sauce". Excellent w a hint of horseradish. On to one of the specials - Irish meatloaf w green beans and smashed spuds. Both of us. We offered kudos to one of the chefs. The meatloaf consisted of ground beast, corned beast, chunks of carrots and other veggies. The spuds were infused w rosemary (not sure of her last name). The beans were paired w fried onions and bacon. A rich gravy accompanied the meal. Our server, Grace, was graceful, friendly, attentive, and efficient. All in all, a fantastic meal. 15 leprechauns; 5 for O'Dells, 10 for Grace Highly recommended

I love an authentic Route 66 stop, and this is certainly one of those. From the road, it's difficult to tell how big the place actually is. Once inside, it opens up and really shares its character. We went on a Thursday evening, and it was packed, but not uncomfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone. Our server was friendly and efficient, and she seemed genuinely invested in customer experiences. Our food was outstanding, and there was plenty of it! We even had room for dessert: a chocolate chip cookie and ice cream. It was the size of a dinner plate! This was an outstanding indulgence, and I can't wait to have another one, as soon as my glycemic index allows. LOL The restrooms were pretty darn rough. Urine all over the floor, overflowing trash can, filthy toilet, etc., gave the impression that it hadn't been cleaned since the Route 66 days. Here, I am not focusing on that, since it's not what we came here for. Our overall experience was fantastic and memorable. We look forward to returning to this special historic establishment.

This restaurant is easy to get too, has adequate parking and the restaurant itself is casual and inviting. The staff welcomed us and were very friendly and attentive. Our young waiter was especially helpful with the menu. The food came quickly and was good. Unfortunately, not great. My wife and I both got the trio of meats, brisket, pulled pork and chicken. All were cooked well but under smoked for my liking. The sides we tried were all fresh but again, just good not great. We will try Gastropit again but honestly have had better tasting barbecue at nearby competitors. I know it is relatively new to the scene so overall, it was a good experience!

Cocktails for the night featured a classic old fashion, not the one on the menu. Really well executed with Knob Creek rye. Also had a special Paloma which was tasty and perfect for a summer evening. This dish, priced at something like $8, is a nice "lightish" meal. Ordered fries because I can't help myself. Salad and fries: 4.25 each.
