We were standing in what we thought was a line but there were multiple kiosks open lol Ordered 2 shack burgers, 2 fries, 3 shakes that cost roughly $60. That's pretty high. The fries were probably the most expensive thing although they were very tasty. They reminded me of halal guys fries. There's just something about them that makes them addictive. Idk what it was but I definitely wanted more! I was so full from eating half of the burger, 1/4 of fries and then half of my strawberry shake. Its been a long time since I've been here. I came around 4pm on a Friday. No line in the drive thru but there were plenty of cars in the parking lot. I was able to order a soon as I approached the speaker. Staff was ok, usually wren you say you need a minute, someone would say, "OK, let me know if you have any questions". This person said nothing, haha. No biggie. Anyway, different staff person at the window and she was pleasant. The burger was pretty good. It had pink in certain spots which I don't like with my fast food burgers plus these are steak steakburgers. The fries are crinkle and I added cheese to them but the cheese was too thick for me. Fries could be cooked a bit longer too. I paid $17 for this combo which was way too much. Small drink with mainly ice which they should give a bigger cup for takeout. Now we're not talking 5 stars like a restaurant out of The Bear but in the world of fast food this place is a ten. The shakes are delicious and they always have rotating new flavors. My current fave is the tiramisu. The burgers are equally delicious and they have beef, chicken, and a portabella option. This isn't just a frivolous delicious, this will be the best shake you've ever had. If a meal wasn't 5 bazillion calories, I'd eat there every day. Download the app to score a bunch of coupons for free food or order online on your way there to cut the wait. They don't have a ton of indoor seating but people are in and out fast enough that you won't have to wait for a seat. Plus once the weather gets nice they have a great patio set up. The atmosphere of the restaurant is fun and welcoming for any group. The brunch was delicious after running a 5K, definitely recommend the White Trash Screwdriver with the pear cider. I have been to this location on different days and different times and it's usually fairly busy. I haven't eaten inside yet. There is plenty of parking in their private lot. I really like the Korean fried chicken sandwich. The chicken is crispy with a generous amount of sweet and spicy Gochujang sauce. The cool crunch of Kimchi on top adds a nice balance of flavors to the sandwich. Their crinkle cut fries are top notch and it's hard to not finish them off before I get home. We have heard great things about Shake Shack so figured we would give it a try. It was super late and when most places were closed, they were still open. We rolled in and the place was thumping. We used the self order. The thing that stood out was that you had to buy everything separately. No ability to package the deal. This made things expensive. The special of the current time is truffle so I figured I would try truffle stuff. There was no issues with our food. The place was just really pricey. Reminds me of California prices. For everyone to get a burger and a drink and split some fries, our cost was $75. For fast food, that is insane to me. We can get a sit down meal and be served. Not a quick meal. The truffle burger with the fried mushroom on it was edible. The truffle over powered it hard. Every bit just tasted like truffle. Nothing more. It was juice and oozed with cheese but I couldn't taste anything. Kids loved their burger and hot dog. Overall, the dinner was fine. The taste was a let down and the prices are insane. We spent $15 on just sodas. California prices is insane. I doubt we will be going back. Always down to pay for a great meal. Okay I love Shake Shack. I've only been to SS one time before and I forgot how delicious it is! I'm not in this area often, but my dad and I were coming back from Troy and decided to stop. So happy we did. Upon entrance there are iPads to place your order, I believe you can place it with a staff member at the register as well. I ordered a single cheeseburger with pickles and a side of fries, and my dad got a double with bacon, cheese, and a side of fries as well. You put your order in, grab a number to identify your order, and submit. We waited about 5ish minutes for our order. It was brought out by a staff member who was super kind and helpful. Order came in a fun shake shack bag and smelled amazing. My burger was fantastic. Smashed to perfection, juicy, and good quality pickles. The fries were crispy and cooked wonderfully. My boyfriend and I loved eating here, until today. We went through the drive through, before we even pulled up we could hear the girl over the mic talking to another customer in a rude manner. However, as a longtime Shake Shack patron in California, New York and places in between, this is hands down the worst service I have ever received and Danny Meyer himself would be appalled to know that the staff here have sullied his creation. We did the drive-through with the stupid pay-as-you-order machine, and the worker inside filled the order wrong. Back at the hotel we opened the bag to find the wrong food. Back in the car to Shake Shack. Girl at window said there's nothing she could do unless we order and pay for more food. That was a hard no. Asked to talk to manager. He looked to be about 15 and refused to make anything right. Wait, it gets better. I originally got a large order of spicy fries but they gave a small order of regular fries. What a nice location in a nice little burger joint I came in and was probably greeted by three employees. That's what was bringing me on tonight and what they could get me to start my order. Since I never been here before, I did, ask them recommendations and instead of just listing off items they liked, they asked what kind of burgers I liked and try to get to know me on a personal level to recommend the best burger, which I thought was great. I ordered the double SmokeShack™ (Angus beef cheeseburger with applewood-smoked bacon, chopped cherry peppers, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun) and fries. I couldn't wait to try this place. So, after the show we stopped here to check it out. Wow! This was the best hamburger I've had in a very long time! It was crispy, yet thick with a fantastic flavor! I loved it! The place is clean and our food came out quickly (they weren't busy.). The fries were excellent too. They are my favorite kinds of crinkle cut. Culver's or Freddy's), plus they have nice patio seating. Simple menu of burgers, chicken or hot dog, and ala carte sides of crinkle fries, freshly made drinks or shakes. Overall, a 3.25-3.5 rated experience for smiling and prompt counter service, freshly prepared foods, fast casual dining, family friendly with food served hot but tasted OK. Expect to pay $6-10 for burgers, total ~$10-15 for sandwich, fries and soda. Today we tried the single ShackBurger and Smoke Shack, plus some crinkle fries. I liked the ShackBurger as it came with tomato and lettuce garnish; their special sauce (mayo based) tasted a bit bland, so adding some mustard and ketchup helped. The Smoke Shack burger had smoked bacon and cherry peppers (touch spicy), but no other garnishes. The sauce was also lightly applied but the peppers had a nice zing! I probably could've asked for side tomato and lettuce, but wanted to try the food as designed. For burger rating, i'd give them a 3 (average); was solid but i've had much better. The crinkle fries were good portion size, served hot and crispy, but not salted too much nor particularly flavorful, so I added salt and ketchup to my liking. Ordered a Fifty-fifty (1/2 fresh lemonade and 1/2 organic tea) like an Arnold Palmer; served chilled and was refreshing, but you may want to add some sugar if you prefer a sweeter flavored beverage. I went through the drive thru at 7:45 pm and service was great! I ordered a bacon avocado burger and chocolate shake. Pros: 1) Avocado was the perfect ripeness. I didn't get an old, overripe avocado cut this morning. 2) The bun seemed fresh and not stale. 3) The burger was delicious. Cons: 1) The bacon was super fatty and chewy. I think most people prefer crispy bacon? I know I do. 2) The chocolate shake was WAY TOO chocolatey. I like chocolate. A lot. But this was very overwhelming. Not overly flavored but just right. All was fresh and crisp. We asked for extra crispy fries and they delivered. Only one thing was off, we expected a lot better shake. I was in Chesterfield running an errand and needed a quick lunch option to take to work with me. I ordered ahead on the app and my food was ready really quickly. I got a cheeseburger, truffle fries, and a shake. Everything looked and tasted great except for the fries. Their fries (especially the specialty ones) are not a cheap side option and they didn't put in the truffle sauce that goes with them. So essentially I paid a big upcharge for a sprinkle seasoning.
