DO NOT USE THEM. This company is a scam!! If they say they will return to complete any work, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY, and do not allow them to do anything to your car. We have lodged formal complaints, and filed a report with the police to protect against further harassment and threat issues. My driver side door was hit and wouldn't close. They did a little work the first visit to get the door to close (though not properly, and still hasn't been fully repaired), took only cash payment and would not give a receipt. They were supposed to complete more work including replacing the door check and paint/dent repair, and came two more times only to take more cash. One the second visit when I said I'd rather get an opinion elsewhere they threatened to "put the dents back in". I should have known. They refused to provide receipts of what work was promised and what the money was for. To this day they have refused to do any more repairs and have blamed me for their refusal to finish the repairs after 2+ months. They will not provide any proof they ordered the part they claimed hasn't yet come in after 2+ months. They have come up with multiple excuses for why they won't finish the work. They said the part they ordered (a door check) 8 weeks ago hasn't come in yet, but cannot show me what part they ordered or when they ordered it. They blame my schedule when on three occasions I left work early to meet them, and they still wouldn't do the work. They are extremely unreliable unless they are coming to pick up money. Once they wouldn't come because "it was supposed to rain" -- weather channel had a 10% chance of rain that day, and indeed it did not rain. Once had an appointment for 630, and I got out of work early--I met them at 5 but they said the paint had ruined because it had been sitting too long (even though it was earlier than our original time?!) The most recent time we scheduled an appointment for 3 pm for them to finish the dents and paint. At 245 I called, and he said he would be there at 445. At 5 I called, and he said he was en route. At 6 and again at 7 I called without answer. Later that night he said his battery died and was waiting on AAA, but couldn't explain why he never told me this while I was waiting for him for hours. The stories were similar on other days. I work full time but took time out of my schedule on days they said they would come and they never showed up. I'm expecting lies in response to this review, just like in most communications. I am happy to show anybody who wants the full extent of our communication. read more

Before they get the money, you will be told that there's a 90 days warranty, as long as you don't damage the car, you will be covered with free charge if they don't perform the work well. However, after I noticed they didn't complete the job well, the dent they fixed is still showing (my profile photo is the after work picture), I asked them to come back, first, hard to contact them, I had two times waiting for them all day long at weekend because they just disappeared at the appointment time without any notice (and at the end of the day, he responded like, I went to doctor, the other time is like, I lost my phone on my way to you). Most importantly, after he shows up finally, I was told a new different policy, which I need to pay 50% cost all the work again, even though they know I didn't damage the car. Overall, they don't have enough skills to perform a good work, use all the excuses to put the mistakes on you (like, you didn't complain on the same day, your friend was there watching us when we work) , asking customers more $$$ to cover their mistakes. I will go to the other body shop to re-do the same work again, but just want to warn more people, hoping I am the last person being deceived! You are very welcome to contact me to see the real "before work" and "after work" picture and ask me anything, and you won't give them a chance to work on your vehicle. Pay attention to what he responded, I noticed the problem right after the day they worked on it, the manager will have different excuses to delay the time they can meet you, and said three weeks has been passed! I read about Johnny Auto on Pure Wow and thought I'd try to mend a dent in my MDX. I emailed the owner, Johnny, and we set up an early appointment for a Saturday morning. We confirmed via email and I gave him my address. When he didn't show, I checked my email and that morning he decided to ask me for my phone number. To make a long story short, he never showed. I had work done by Johnny this summer. Someone back into our Chrysler Town and country minivan in a parking lot and left a giant dent on the trunk. Later that week He happened to see me and the damage and gave me his card. Our insurance was giving us the run around And i got an estimate of 1200 dollars from a body shop. I called him to come check it out. He came to us. Accessed the damage and quoted us a Third of what we would have been charged. I was skeptical . In the end I was IMPRESSED and SHOCKED with his work. Buyers / Potential Customers / Investors Beware!!! I hired Johnny Mobile Auto Work of Chicago to repair two of my vehicles that he still until this day have not completed. He showed up late requesting half of the money to purchase material he said he needed to start the repairs. After receiving payment he left and came back 3 1/2 hours later with his father / In-law to help him with the jobs. Then he needed to borrow electricity from my home to use his equipment to start the repair process. Then almost halfway through the repair process he left again this time with his father / in-law for 2 hours according to him to purchase additional material needed to complete the repair process on both vehicles. He and his Father / In-law returned and made a complete mess of me and my neighbors properties with his Autobody - paper, paint and foam fixing material which I had to clean-up. Before he left he demanded that I pay him which I foolishly did the remaining balance for the repairs on the now dis-assembled vehicles that he did not complete. He promised to return several days later to re-assemble and complete / finish up the repairs on both vehicles. After several phone calls requesting a scheduled date and time that he will / would be back to complete the repair process. He never showed back-up. I lost Under Duress $1000 plus dollars in cash and electricity messing around with these dishonest individuals. ====================================================================== Rebuttal 10-20-15 Buyers / Potential Customers / Investors Beware!!! At first Johnny's work seemed good but then I asked him to repair the headliner. That was taken to their place for the new fabric I had to pay for up front. Once returned the fabric fell within a day or two. Headliner removed again and after a year it is still missing. A few texts promising to return it and now I am still without it and no replies to six months of texting. read more

By luck, I found Johnny Mobile and must admit I was skeptical at first, but once I met John and he gave me an estimate, with a detailed plan of what to expect, I became more confident in the process. I was sent one of the technicians (who brought his child along) to repair some rust spots. He left for a period of time after starting and came back and rushed to get the job finished. The paint didn't cure and he missed several spots, needless to say, not happy with his work. Contacted John, the owner and sent pictures of the job and he agreed it needed to be redone. He wanted to personally come out to finish. So after 8 months of being patient and giving him every opportunity to finish, I decided to post this review. His excuses were beyond imagination and I'm sure others have experienced the same, "I'm out of town, I'm getting the heater fixed, my grandmother is sick, I'm sick, I'm in the hospital, I lost your number and have a new phone and couldn't get back to you, I cut my finger, etc." His website claims "Satisfaction Guaranteed". I believe this is what he thinks, not the customer. Do yourself a favor and read all Yelp reviews for this service and go elsewhere.
