Fixed my initial problem after the paint cracked on their 1st attempt, but then had a bunch of scratches from buffing machine and shop denied to fix their added damages. Didn't fix the bumper and just neglected doing an A1 job. Lots of reclaim from the wax residue left in the car lines. Very disappointing... You guys did not want to repaint due to the labor that would be necessary to correct all the deep scratches. I have proof of verbal communication that this was from careless customer service. Never using their service again. Definitely going elsewhere. Don't believe Santos, they cut corners and hide more damages caused by them. Edit review I definitely had work done there because you even apologize to me about the problem ( damage) the worker did, and you didn't offered to reimburse me only to have the same worker do the job over. I walked out because I thought you was a highly recommended shop and went elsewhere that did a way better job. I've been going to Rojas for nearly 25 years. I recommend them unconditionally. They're friendly, trustworthy, honest, fast, willing to expertly navigate insurance when needed, and all while delivering fair value. I originally met them when someone hit my prized BMW in a parking lot and the dealer (Perillo) recommended Rojas for the repairs. Initially I hesitated at the suggestion--after all, I wasn't at fault and the other driver's insurance would be paying, so my priority was restoring my convertible to its original condition. I remember the Perillo service manager assuring me that "Rojas is the best, we send all our cars there, even the brand new ones that get damaged during shipping here". With that reassurance I ventured to Rojas west of the Loop. I recall meekly venturing across Chicago Ave from their large lot directly across the street: Initially I was underwhelmed by the understated storefront located in a nondescript part of town. But the moment I went inside and was greeted by the gregarious Jorge Rojas, then shown to the back where a brand new Bentley and several other magazine-caliber cars were in various stages of repair, I began to get the picture. I was reminded of the adage, "Don't judge a book by its cover". In short I was thrilled with the final results--and even though I wasn't paying the bill, I was surprised by the value when I saw the total bill. Then it dawned on me that they must've chosen the location b/c they understood many customers would rather pay for high quality work, parts and flawless paint instead of a squandering money on a flashy setup--especially if they were paying out of pocket. Unfortunately, since that initial visit I've needed repairs to many vehicles over the years, requiring me to return to Rojas a NUMBER of times--often when I had to pay the bill--and not once did I come away less than pleased by the results. FWIW--When I first visited, Jorge Rojas was running the shop, with his always charming father and original founder semi-retired but still active as a chauffeur for customers after dropping off their cars at the shop. When it came time for Jorge to retire several years later, I was relieved to learn ownership would stay within the extended family, being transferred to Santos Ramirez, son-in-law of the long-time and uncannily talented "paint color" guy, Romero, whom I'd gotten to know over the years due to my many jobs there. Needless to say, I was heartened that nothing would change, and that's certainly been my experience to this day. read more

I was a little weary about the neighborhood but upon meeting George and seeing his clientele list (it reads of a who's who of Chicago athletes and news anchors) and talking to him (he's a great, friendly, and accommodating guy), I knew that my car would be in good hands. I had damage on my car door from hitting the garbage can- thanks to the unplowed alleys during the February snowstorm. Lexus recommended this company to fix the damage. Santos, the manager, was very professional and communicative. My car was fixed perfectly. My only issue was that they don't accept credit cards. This was my second time here. Mcgrath Lexus originally recommended them to me, so when my car and a cement pylon met, I called right away. George is fantastic, he understands the importance of great customer service, but even more importantly, their work is flawless and very fairly priced. My 2004 car looks brand new, and I couldn't be happier. Amazing customer service!!!! Reasonable price! I called Sunday night expecting to leave a message but the owner answered and said to meet him at the office to take a look at it (I had pretty much peeled off 1/4 of my bumper). I stopped by during my lunch, got an estimate on price and time, got driven back to my job. At the end of work I hitched a ride with my coworker. Bumper was fixed and cost only $100! I recently took my car to Roja's to repair a cracked bumper. George is great, from the first time I spoke with him he made me feel like I was a long time returning customer. When I got the car back I thought they had put in a brand new bumper but they actually just repaired it. it was perfect. Sadly my joy was not long lived. I strongly suggest avoiding this place. Brought my almost new infiniti here about two in half years ago at the suggestion of Berman Infiniti. Car looked ok when it came out, but their work is already rusting. I took it to another shop and was told the job was done poorly with lots of shortcuts which is why it is already rusting out. I brought my car back in here to have them take a look at the rust and was told that the place is (conveniently) under new owners and that they wouldn't do anything about it. Further, they said they only provide a standard 1 year warranty anyway. It is probably the same guys doing shaddy work under new ownership so I would be careful taking your car here since a 1 year warranty is worth nothing when their poor quality work falls apart after the fact. Maybe I am crazy to believe that body work should last more than two in a half years. read more
