Backed into a pole in a very tight parking garage. I tried to correct the damage and only made it worse causing wavy damage to my quarter panel, doors, and some of the wheel well. Upon reaching out to insurance, I was quoted 1 grand - judging the "before" photos you can tell it was very much not a $1000 job. I got quotes from 3 different shops. One agreed with my insurance company, One quoted me 6 grand (middle), and GCAB quoted me 8-10 grand with brand new parts. It took me months to make a decision and I ended up going with GCAB. Let me tell you why that was a good decision, even though I ended up paying a bit out of pocket. Some non-GCAB Issues: 1.) Insurance. They tried to get GCAB to install used quarter panels and used everything. Simple forum searches and a ton of research shows that used quarter panels are extremely hazardous. GCAB COACHED ME on how to contact insurance and how to get them to cover a brand new quarter panel. This saved me over 800$ in the end out of pocket, and I didn't even have to ask GCAB to help me, they did so before I even asked. Highlights: 1.) Communication. I was given deadlines and notifications weekly. I was told each and every step of the process with a scope of work, documents to back it up, and weekly calls. Nothing short of professional. GCAB also did NOT bad-mouth other shops, simply stating that they do great work and are proud of it. They did not sell me on their shop one bit. I'm going to touch on communication a bit more at the end. 2.) Process and expectations. There were no surprises. Deadlines were met. Complete walkthrough of their process with an underlying level of trust. I truly do not think that GCAB takes advantage of its customers. Told me a date of completion and they completed it prior to that date. I've never had this happen with car repairs. 3.) Craftmanship. I've attached photos. Enough said. Fantastic work. Drove 1600 miles after the car was fixed and it's been perfect. They even reglued/reattached weather stripping as mine was coming off some doors for free. GCAB does not use used parts. They have the mantra that when you get your car fixed, it should be like new. Without going on for too long, I would physically travel out of state to take my car here for repairs if I ever moved. It's hard to find a shop that gives a shit, and they do. After all was said and done I paid around 1500$ on a repair with an insurance dispute. money WELL spent.

I had just moved to Chicago for school and a semi-truck hit my small Toyota Corolla from the driver's side. It caused severe damage. After months of dealing with the other party's insurance, I finally got them to agree to pay to fix my vehicle. But then I had to find a place who would be willing to agree with their labor rates. I went to get an opinion of another place and they told me I would probably be paying hundreds of dollars (up to $600) out of pocket for them to be ok to take it and break it apart. And after all that it would just end in total loss. I was so sad. I did not know anyone in Chicago to help me. I am student and didn't have extra money at the moment. And my Corolla was only 3 years old, so pretty new and well taken care of. Then I stopped by River North Collision Repair. Mr. Abel was so professional, so compassionate. I signed a form allowing them to directly communicate with the other party's insurance. In less than one month, my vehicle looked like nothing has happened to it. They fully communicated and dealt with the insurance, I paid ZERO dollars extra for them. I picked up my car fixed and even cleaned on the outside and inside. Thank you SO much, you guys really deserve more than five stars. Honest, professional, compassionate, everything you can dream of when going through a hard time!

For me years ago repairs were easy, I just gave him the keys. If we didn't it, he'd send it off to someone and it would get done. We weren't a body shop, nor a detail place, but we knew people. But that was some time ago. Those people are now retired or have passed on. So I'm left to my own resources, asking around and internet research (reviews.) I bought my SUV and there was a slight gap at the bumper after about a month, I did take it back and they just pushed it back. Never looked right. but it was okay. Well now this time I did it backing into a garage there was this wrought iron basket, not mine. My bumper caught it and it pulled away. It looked bad and couldn't be ignored. What's damaged, I don't know, do I need a new bumper because something got damaged behind it, again, no clue. I came across Carrectly, was impressed by the reviews, also was impressed by the pics of Dixon P's bumper repair. So I sent an email requesting a quote for the repair. Oliver replied fast with an accurate quote and information. He also answer all questions I had. I decided to give them a try. So glad I did! How much time is wasted on dropping off your vehicle? With them none, same for pick up. Yuri was so pleasant and helpful, I inquired about getting a detail, specifically the inside. It really needed it. He gave me some info, but said I should speak to Oliver. At first I was going to go mini, but then went full. When I inquired he told me what they do for each, there was no upsell, no pressure. I will say it looks beautiful. I also had them do some touch up where the paint came off. The gave the exterior a very good wash. I'm very pleased with the whole process, and recommend them highly. I'm proud to be seen with my vehicle again, instead of walking away quickly. You know how it is when you ride looks trashed. So glad I made this choice.

I took my car in because my sunroof was stuck open. They gave me an estimate to fix it and I agreed to have the service done. Ultimately they were not able to fix it and I still had to take it to the dealer for repair who told me the damage that was done would result in an even more expensive repair. Overall, I had a horrible experience with poor communication throughout. They had my car for several weeks and I had to chase them for updates. After the first week with no updates, I finally reached the shop manager and the response I got was to "be patient". This was the state of my car when I picked it up, which was not the state I dropped it off in. Although my car was over 10 years old it was in nearly perfect condition when I dropped it off. The car was hit while parked on the street outside the shop. When I saw the damage I went back into the shop and they sent me to their body shop to have it buffed out. Much of the damage came out but not all of it. Nothing was offered to rectify the damage done to the interior of the car. I sent emails to the shop with the pictures below, but got no response.

Sidenote, crash is extremely incompetence, unprofessional, and will bring your car back with things damaged that we're not damaged prior to them taking possession, do not do not do not take your car to crash champions. Anyways, I was looking at reviews Online to find a dead body shop and this one was Rated very highly. I took my car in, and Ivan made sure to expedite everything knowing that I did not have a rental while my car was in the shop. Aside of him making sure everything was done, all of the work done was professionally done and nothing was damaged in the process. I even paid them out-of-pocket to fix something on the side that was not damaged from the crash and they did an amazing job with it. Unfortunately, I got hit again recently, and now my car is currently in their body shop. Once again, Ivan is stepping up and doing everything in his power, including negotiating with the insurance company that is being difficult to make sure my car gets repaired properly and swiftly. Ivan asked me to leave him a review once my car was repaired But honestly, this body shop has been so impressive and went above and beyond that I don't feel the need to even wait until my car is repaired before I leave this review. I knowTrusting Body shops is very nerve-racking But I can tell you with confidence if you are looking for a body shop that this should be your first choice and you should reach out to Ivan as soon as you arrive. You will have peace of mind that your car is getting taken care of, as well as getting taken care of promptly and Ivan will go to that with you with the insurance company if they aren't Cooperative. I cannot recommend this place enough, this will be the only place I take my car too whenever I need bodywork. This place is a shambles and a stain on body shops everywhere - never in my…read more25 years as a driver have I ever had body repairs done so incompetently and without regard to any quality assurance whatsoever. I came in with minor scuffing damage done by a sideswipe on the front passenger side, without any dents or damage to the headlight lens or any sensors. I was quoted an estimate to fix the car in about 5 business days - drop off on Monday, pick up on Friday. The first of many failed commitments as it took 11 days (including the weekend and Memorial Day, granted) to get the car back. The bigger problem is that as soon as I got the car, I noticed that the paint job was botched, with multiple (I counted 8 but there were more) pits on the paint that probably were paint bubbles that formed and burst during the rushed baking and curing process and then were completely overlooked during the (I am assuming nonexistent) quality assurance inspection. When I brought this up to my rep's attention, the pattern was established - still friendly and prompt, but complete failure to explain what happened to cause the pits, why the QA process was skipped over and to involve a supervisor immediately. The "apology" was basically "Sorry about that, but don't worry, you have a lifetime warranty on the repair" - words I would hear over and over again as you will read on. So, what can a guy do but arrange to come back to the shop, drop off his car and get an Uber home (which I paid for myself round trip, mind you - the shop never offered a reimbursement). The redo of the repaint took two days and then I finally had my car fixed completely! Right? Nope. This time around - having my trust in this place shot already - I do a very thorough inspection and yes, the paint APPEARS fine (although I wouldn't wonder if they skipped the primer this time and I have perforation rust in a year or two but time will show). HOWEVER, the wheel arch trim - which has to be installed brand new each time that car panel is repainted - is noticeably loose and popping in and out like a badly attached denture (don't ask how I know) at the mere press of a finger. See above for the already familiar process of how the shop handled this - the rep saying (second time in a row) "Sorry about that, but don't worry, you have a lifetime warranty on the repair". Still friendly and prompt, but complete failure to explain what happened to cause the botched adhesive, why the QA process was skipped over and to involve a supervisor immediately - at this point to apologize to me personally over a second failure in a row. Fast forward another few days (the part had to be ordered and painted in advance again) when I drove to the shop to have the trim piece removed and the new one attached. This time, it APPEARS to be fine, and so three weeks later and two failures later I finally had the car body work completed. Not only are these the only two examples of a failed body repair I have ever experienced in 25 years, but the repeated failures of the repairs and the lack of any QA - especially the second time when this should have become the focus of a manager's attention - are unforgivable. Final thought - when I mentioned this ordeal to my trusted rep at the service center I go to, he said he recommends to his clients to skip this shop, as they do the worst jobs ever and frequently show up with cars taken apart that they do not know how to put together again. Yikes. To recap - STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

We go back to Crash Champions, and they take responsibility and promise to fix it. Great! Nothing happens for a week so I call back, and then they actually order the part. Nothing happens for another 2 weeks so I call back at the part arrived and no one called me. It was at this time that I explained that an apple magsafe charger was missing from our car during the first service. I chased twice about this to get an answer, which ultimately came back as 'we aren't responsible for items in your car'. The first mishap came when they told me my bill was going to be less than $1000 but ended up being about $2000 when I came to pick it up. They said they'd work with me but ended up knocking off only about $20 as if that made a difference. Then, I take a look at the work they did and it was just terrible. They gave me every excuse under the sun but ended up taking it back to "fix" a few issues that still remained on the car. We spoke about them fixing multiple issues, however, only one of them was addressed when I came to pick up my car for the second time. The service manager kept trying to tell me I don't know what I'm talking about despite personally working on a Best Paint In Show awarded car at Pebble Beach. The more I spoke to him, the more I realized how much of a scam artist this guy, and apparently the company, is. Either way, once again, they told me I could bring the car back for a third time to get the scuffs buffed out that they were supposed to take out already. The next thing that happened just goes to show how dishonest they truly are. The insurance company recommended a new bumper and EuroCollision both charged me for one and "confirmed" they replaced it. However, a few months later, I decided to sell off my car in pieces, and the "new" bumper that EuroCollision "installed" has a 2003 manufacturers date on it, in addition to very unique damaged that was present before my visit. CONFIRMED: EuroCollision practices insurance fraud and passes the BS onto its customers because they're not fulfilling the work they're supposed to be. Finally, upon removing my rocker panel, I found about 5lbs of glue to make the weather strip stay in place after they broke it and decided they didn't want to spend $10 to replace it. So while removing the rocker panel, the glue ripped off paint and is now destroyed. I will absolutely be doing everything in my power to get the word out that EuroCollision is a bunch of scam artists.
