I've been back and forth with EuroCollision since having them repair my rear bumper, fender, and driver door. The first mishap came when they told me my bill was going to be less than $1000 but ended up being about $2000 when I came to pick it up. They said they'd work with me but ended up knocking off only about $20 as if that made a difference. Then, I take a look at the work they did and it was just terrible. They gave me every excuse under the sun but ended up taking it back to "fix" a few issues that still remained on the car. We spoke about them fixing multiple issues, however, only one of them was addressed when I came to pick up my car for the second time. The service manager kept trying to tell me I don't know what I'm talking about despite personally working on a Best Paint In Show awarded car at Pebble Beach. The more I spoke to him, the more I realized how much of a scam artist this guy, and apparently the company, is. Either way, once again, they told me I could bring the car back for a third time to get the scuffs buffed out that they were supposed to take out already. The next thing that happened just goes to show how dishonest they truly are. The insurance company recommended a new bumper and EuroCollision both charged me for one and "confirmed" they replaced it. However, a few months later, I decided to sell off my car in pieces, and the "new" bumper that EuroCollision "installed" has a 2003 manufacturers date on it, in addition to very unique damaged that was present before my visit. CONFIRMED: EuroCollision practices insurance fraud and passes the BS onto its customers because they're not fulfilling the work they're supposed to be. Finally, upon removing my rocker panel, I found about 5lbs of glue to make the weather strip stay in place after they broke it and decided they didn't want to spend $10 to replace it. So while removing the rocker panel, the glue ripped off paint and is now destroyed. I will absolutely be doing everything in my power to get the word out that EuroCollision is a bunch of scam artists. read more

I tried to get in touch with a "manager" multiple times and no one seems to care (despite getting texts and emails asking for feedback each day). So I will leave my feedback here. 2 stars because the exterior of my car does look good. I had a minor collision with a cement mini wall in a parking garage. I was concerned about taking my Audi just anywhere so I asked Fletcher Jones when I was in for service. They recommended Euro Collision and one other place. My insurance works with Euro Collision so I called them first. Initially everything seemed pretty easy and I was told the work would take a week and a half, the damage wasn't anything extraordinary, so I proceeded. A week and a half later they called to tell me my car was ready. I went at 5p after work to get the car. I arrived and they pulled my car around. It was dark but the exterior of my passenger side looked great. I went to get in the car and my airbag light was on and the window wouldn't go up. I went back inside, frustrated that they wouldn't check these things when fixing the passenger door and disconnecting electrical, etc. The person came back out, spent 15 minutes resetting everything and told me everything was all set. I go to leave and lock the doors (#chicago) and the passenger door lock button didn't light up. The passenger side lock/unlock buttons didn't even work. So I go BACK in and they spent another 20 minutes fixing. At this point they were closed and definitely frustrated with me, since this was obviously my fault. As soon as I left I noticed it sounded like my window or moonroof was cracked, but they were closed. I was late for plans so decided I'd see if it improved over a few days. Of course it did not. My car also was kind of dirty inside after picking it up, so I was wiping it out on Friday (2 days after picking up) and literally find a 4' long piece of rubber IN MY BACKSEAT. I called Saturday morning to speak to a "manager" kind of knowing one wouldn't be in on a Saturday. The lady was very friendly and took down my information and experience and said the manager would call me first thing Monday. After we hung up, she called me right back and asked if I could come in to have it fixed that day. I asked if someone would for sure be in on a Saturday because I was running errands in the south loop. She said yes. I got there right at 11, as I said I would, and a guy came out to look at my car with me. He said the noise could be because "it's been windy lately." I may be a young woman, but I'm not dumb. I told him that was not acceptable, the passenger window was not flush with the back window (I have a coupe) and HE WAS HOLDING A PIECE OF RUBBER from my car which I found in the backseat and was clearly supposed to be installed along the top of the frame above the window. He said he'd take the part, schedule me TO COME BACK "because no technician was onsite" despite the lady calling me back and confirming there would be. So I said okay, I can come in Monday at 10a. He told me he wouldn't be there but he'd be sure to note they would have an Uber drive me home while they did the work. I came back today, saw the guy despite him saying he wouldn't be in, and asked to speak to the manager while I was there because he didn't call me, even though the lady Saturday said he would. The lady today ignored that and told me to have a seat. Another guy came out, I thought maybe he was the manager so I told him what all had happened. He was clearly just wanting to take my car and fix it, he literally just responded with "can I have your key?" So I went back inside - no manager, no Uber, and waited for 45 minutes. A kid came around, parked my car, walked in and gave the receptionist my keys. She walked over and handed them to me and turns to walk away. I said, "is anyone going to tell me what was the issue?" She was like "I can call him." This place literally does not care. They are so busy, they just want to shuffle cars in. I heard the two receptionists laughing because another customer was told they would have his car for 4 weeks and he was initially told 2. Just unprofessional. My biggest concern, aside from customer service, is that a lot of these European cars are so complex and no one even checked the work done on my car. I had work done on the passenger door and clearly a lot of the electrical stuff had been disabled during the work - which makes sense. But doesn't it seem plausible to check the windows go up, the lock button works? I told them I was really frustrated no one would check anything. There was a part in my backseat!? And the receptionist said, "your estimator should have before he called to tell you it was ready." Great, thanks. Also...I tried to leave this feedback on the feedback survey they sent me and when I clicked submit it told the page did not exist. It's all over now. I still would not give them any stars. I finally got my car back 2 weeks ago but I found a lot of items that needed to be worked on. There were paints chips on the car, engine was filthy and a chip of paint missing from the passenger door handle that was not there before. They told us to take the car home and we can bring it back to work on these items. Well the car was taken back and returned. Im very disappointed with their work and I would never use them or recommend them. Use at your risk. They are nice but they lie too much. Not worth it. Very disappointed. read more

Update: Got the car last week. They did a good job at repairing the car. The work quality I have nothing to complain. So I changed the rating from 1 star to 2 stars Old review: My car was originally scheduled to be completed on 03/15, but the completion date keeps being pushed back 4 times. Now it would not even finish this week. They have questionable process management. I sent the car for estimate in Jan, and they did not even open the hood to check carefully the parts needed. I sent the car to repair on 02/15, and they said more parts are needed. After a few weeks, while they are repairing the car they found there are more parts missing and that delays the repair a lot. I think they should plan what is required more carefully before giving customers an estimation. At least don't give a so positive estimate that the customer would plan assuming he would have a car to drive. read more

Just like others my insurance recommended this place in order to fix bullet holes in my car. I live in Wicker Park and was shocked to come out to my car and see that the roof had been shot into. Obviously a great reason to relocate! I scheduled an appointment to drop my car off on September 19. As the initial assessment was being done I inquired if the car would be fixed by the 30th of September as I would be moving out of town. I was told that would be cutting it extremely close but that they could try. Fine, I understand I just wanted my car fixed correctly. I received a call a week later on September 27 from my insurance adjuster telling me that my car was ready for pick up and that I could pick it up the following day. Great news...right? The following morning I called the shop and confirmed that my car was ready. I was told it was being detailed and would be ready at 3:00 pm. I then received a call from the shop at 2:15pm, the manager Alex left a voicemail reiterating that my car was ready. I called him back to let him know I planned to pick it up at 5pm. As we were hanging up he starts with "I don't want you to be surprised so while we were wielding your roof on some sparks flew off and burned your back seat but don't worry we will fix it and pay for the seat covering." At this point I am livid why would no one mention this before? Even worse he seemed to think I would accept my car back in this condition. To date I have received three promise dates of my car being fixed which has not happened. My most recent call from Alex on Wednesday October 3 informed me he had found a solution and that my car would be ready the following afternoon. I have made three calls to the shop since to confirm prior to picking it up and Alex cannot be reached! Further, Chris claims to have no knowledge of any progress being made on the car for me to pick it up on Thursday. Complete lies! I am still in a rental at this point!! I plan on getting my car fixed somewhere else and giving them a bill as well as notifying my insurance. This place has proved to have shoddy workmanship and horrible customer service. Stay away! ***Update Upon picking up my car the seat that they burned during the repair was fixed as was the damage to the roof. However, my windshield wipers were installed incorrectly which caused me to make a second trip to the shop to get them fixed. The back panels inside the car were installed improperly and I had to snap them in. The wire for my remote start was left thrown over my dash board which once I mentioned to Alex was promptly fixed. That being said, if you find yourself with a fender bender, Euro Collision is where I would HIGHLY recommend taking your vehicle. Both Naomi and Jasmine were always friendly to work with and promptly answered any questions I had about my vehicle. They were professional and didn't over promise when it came to the day it would be finished (some parts needed to be ordered). They gave a very realistic turnaround time and nailed it! The car was professionally washed and cleaned up after they fixed it and you honestly cannot tell there was ever any damage to the vehicle. I had to get the right side of my car repaired, and wanted it PRONTO! I went in for my Geico Estimate, and was quoted a time-frame that my car would be done. Instead of leaving for a lengthy period, Euro Collision was able to order my door and I scheduled an appointment for the repair after it arrived. Euro Collision finished my car a day before the quote, which was amazing! I mainly worked with Chris, who was great! I doubt how many reviews are genuine here.Seems like there is a team working to write fake reviews here, that's my personal opinion. Do yourself a favor if you have an expensive car then definitely don't take to them. These people are very Unprofessional / Scam / Rude / Liars, they want to make money by hook or crook. I have a fleet of vehicles that we share on a car sharing platform and we have a pretty good experience with different body shops. The way our business works is, if any guest damages our car then our car sharing company collects the money for damages that are prepared on our estimate and finally it's up to the owner if they want to repair completely or don't repair at all. I told them clearly I don't want to replace grill that has a hairline crack less than an inch. The employee Alex was trying to find a way so that they will replace it, he tried to fool me by saying that the recalibration with Audi dealership might go wrong and in that case the second time I have to pay out of my pocket for recalibration, I SAID ITS OK I am ready to take that risk, because I was sure about it that it wasn't necessary at all. He mentioned I will get back my car next Tuesday almost a week, but I got it after almost a month. Alex texted me that they already replaced the grill WHICH I DIDNT AUTHORIZE. I told them I didn't ask you guys to do or before doing that you should have taken my permission. Then they say the other guy Fernando was also listening from the next room that I accepted it. Seriously they work together in lying. Diana said that she won't release my vehicle until I pay for the replaced grill in cash. The worse part is that for a minor damage on my Audi Q7 with a claim of $6000 at the end when I saw the car, the bumper and fender was not aligned. Which they said I can bring car again and it's a matter of 15 min. I paid all the amount in cash and left disappointed. on Monday when I handed over the car to them, and I was waiting Diana calls me and starts playing another game, they saw that my car sharing company sent me in three payments separately and they didn't calculate properly and they found it was $1200 extra. So they ask me to pay that $1200 also which my company paid me, it was not through insurance. I said it's none of their business they provided an estimate for repairs and I paid in full already then why they are asking extra, I said release my vehicle ASAP. So she says unfortunately she won't release my vehicle until I pay remaining $1200. I was pissed off again I said I will complain to the police that I made the payment and they are not releasing my car. The moment I called police immediately Diana comes out and says we apologize but it was our confusion (here I would like to remind you that the only reason they changes their mind is because they know if police will come they would have to release my car as I have already paid in full with invoice) they just tried their best to find a way to collect money from you. Worse part is that when we don't want to replace the damage they are forcibly fixing and asking you to pay for it and if we deny they say it's insurance fraud, that's what he blame me as if like we know nothing. Insurance fraud is when body shop prepares a false estimate for the damages that aren't really present. But if there is a damage and I don't want to fix it, maybe I just want to throw my car to junk yard, it's my problem. Another stupid statement is that it's a matter of safety to replace grill, Seriously..!! let's say if a person is not in a financial position to fix the sensor and he doesn't carry a full coverage insurance then what ? They will forcibly repair it and ask Them to take debts and pay them the balance? What a bunch of fools running the business. I love Euro Collision. They took care of me 2 years ago when I was in a hit and run. The side of my old car that was repaired looked better than the side which was spared. In 2018 when my new Civic was damaged with a long scrape on the passenger side, my first thought was "Please lord, let my insurance send me to Euro Collision!" My prayers were answered! Not only is the work impeccable and insured for life, but every. single. staff. member. is. professional. AND. helpful! Let me give you an example. The rental car company, which shall remain nameless, told me I could drop the rental off at Euro Collision when I picked up my repaired vehicle. The rental company then charged me for 3 extra days and provided me with no receipt. I called the car rental place twice over two weeks requesting a receipt and never received one. I asked an employee of the rental car company to go over the charges with me on the phone. I informed him they charged me incorrectly and he said he'd call me back.... at some point.... ? Well, I'm still waiting for that call. Finally, at my wits end I thought, "Maybe the kind folks at Euro Collision will help me!" Johanna actually called the manager at the car rental company and the issue was immediately resolved! Euro Collision has magical powers. Understand that Euro Collision resolved a problem I had with a totally separate business at no cost to me. They saved me $100 dollars just because..... State Farm directed me here after a collision during which I had the right of way and the other guy was 100% at fault. So instead of paying the $4,000+ bill completely out of my pocket to replace my rear right quarter panel, rear passenger side door, and fix and adjust a couple dozen other things attended to the collision, I was billed my deductible only, and Euro Collision and State Farm will handle the rest off to the side. Very convenient for me. OK, those are the basic details. Now for the praise. The people here are terrific, and the work is top-notch. Aqeel (sp?) was my "sherpa" throughout the process, and he walked me through everything that was to happen patiently, exhaustively, and with tremendous grace. No surprises with my car at all, except maybe that the work they did was terrific and the customer service orientation was exceptional. You half expect customer-facing people at these places to be gruff and only half-interested in the trauma you go through when these accidents happen. Not at all the case here. They are fully committed to your satisfaction throughout the entire process. The ladies at the desk are also very pleasant and efficient, quick to share a smile and make you feel at ease. As I say, the work itself was fantastic. That part of the car actually looks new, which you can't always say after most body shop experiences. There's almost always a little flaw left in place. Not with these guys. If it's at all possible, they made the car look better than it did before. And shhh, don't tell anyone, but they touched up some scratches on the bumper for me. Probably took them all of four minutes and it looks terrific, at least from a few feet away, which is plenty OK by me. They may or may not do the same for you, but even if they do not, don't get mad, bro, because you will be more than satisfied with the result even without that. And the icing on the cake is, they estimated it would be finished on the 13th, and they had it done and ready to pick up on the 6th. Is this a case of under-promising and over-delivering? Maybe, but so what? I have my car a week earlier than I expected, and how could I be cynically annoyed about that? I'd give them eight or nine stars if i could. You will, too. read more

Got rear ended by some clown on his phone while I was out trying to enjoy a nice Sunday with my lady friend. His insurance (Geico) recommended this shop. Took my 2015 A4 there because of the reviews and on-site rental option. Met Alex when I dropped it off. No nonsense -- they had me out of there and in a rental fast, after explaining what would happen to the car, timeframe, etc. They called me ONE DAY later and the car would be ready the next morning. I barely needed the rental. Went to pick up and met Alex again - he took me out front to inspect the car and it was flawless. Treated me with respect even though I am not a car guy and I really appreciated that as well as the work. This is the kind of place you want to deal with - no bullshitting around with fast talkers and excuse makers, just top-quality work in the least amount of time. After a hit and run, I took my '14 Corvette Stingray to Euro Collision since they were a trusted vendor on the State Farm list. It was very easy to make an appointment with their friendly and well organized staff. Upon arriving, I couldn't help notice how pristine and stylish the shop and waiting area were. Looks like they are ready to service high-end vehicles (and they are!). I was greeted right away, and Arsal came out and looked over the vehicle with me. He was very professional and friendly, and took the time to explain how it would be fixed and gave me an estimate and repair timing later the same morning. They gave regular text updates of the repair and when I could pick it up. When I picked my baby up, she looked brand new and showed no signs of it ever been damaged. Again, Arsal took time to explain what was fixed and got me on my way. I even, accidentally dropped a pair of my Ray Ban sunglasses in the car, and they were neatly left on seat as you would expect from they honest shop they are! This review is way over due. Euro Collision has worked on my vehicle(s) in several occasions with amazing results. I have sent a few friends to this shop for repairs and they also expressed the same notion: Euro Collision is the go-to shop in Chicago! Therefore, I did not even hesitate to entrust them this time around with my brand new car. I have not even had it a month and it suffered some damage from brake acid stains from driving under the EL bridge (watch out guys). Alex having looked at the damage, assured me not to stress out and that my vehicle will be fixed as a courtesy from being a previous customer. Even though, we encountered some unexpected hiccups with what should have been a quick fix; the entire team: Aqueel, Alex, Diana were completely sympathetic, helpful and determined to make sure I was satisfied with the end result. Alex and Diana made sure to do their part. I have also have to give kudos to Sebastian, as he helped me on a separate occasion with my previous vehicle's repairs. It's all about relationship building not just providing adequate customer service nowadays. You treat a customer right and not only will they trust you to come back again and again, but they will also send all their friends over to have a similar experience. This is key! I've lived in Chicago since 1997 and have prided myself on my driving record. Well, I ended that awesome streak a couple weeks ago when I sideswiped a dude in the Wicker Park neighborhood. Completely traumatized, my insurance company talked me down off the ledge and set me up with an appointment to have my ride fixed at Euro Collision on Kingsbury. Everyone I dealt with there from the second I walked in the door was friendly, informative, and honestly seemed to enjoy their work. I got thorough explanations on what was going to happen with the repair, and they made sure more than once whether I would need a rental (I didn't, but it was nice to be asked!) They also called me regularly to keep me posted on progress and update me on when my car would be finished. Just picked the car up this morning (they finished yesterday, just like they said) and it looks wonderful. I joked that it looks even better than before i got in the accident, but after studying it some more, I'm starting to think that's for real.... A pleasurable experience all around. Geico also gets a shout out for being a stand-up company through this process as well, and sending me here in the first place! I first got some body work done here after I was rear-ended. The body work was done well and I am happy with it. However, after I left, a rattling noise started in the car. After bringing my car here 2 times to diagnose the problem and 1 time to fix it, they identified that the problem was that I need a new clamp for my catalytic converter. However, they refused to fix it. The problem was so simple to fix that a basic muffler shop can fix it (e.g., a place like Midas says "no problem"). Any mechanic can do this in 10 minutes. My interpretation is that they didn't want to waste their time on me for a fix that wouldn't be highly profitable for them. Update: I received a call from them after writing this review. Rather than apologizing, the person who called insisted that I misunderstood what he meant and that they would have been happy to have done this work for me if only they had known that's what I wanted. This response made no sense to me. I was clearly not happy when I picked the car up. I explicitly asked "why can't you you fix this for me?" and complained about having to make a 4th trip to get something so simple fixed. If that doesn't convey that I wanted them to do the work, I don't know what does. When I asked this question, the response from the employee was "you'd be better off taking it to a mechanic." Again, this response makes no sense. Why in the world would I be better off setting up a 4th appointment to fix something simple when I've already wasted my time and taken off work for 3 other appointments here? Obviously, it would have been incredibly nice of them to just fix it for me so I didn't have to go through the process a 4th time! The whole point of bringing it in was to fix it! I don't really see how that could be misinterpreted, but you can be the judge. To be fair and give them credit, they did show me exactly what needed to be fixed when I take it to a mechanic. I'm writing this pretty upset. I used these guys based on the great reviews and the fact that they were part of my insurance providers' network. Really frustrated with their communication, lack of transparency and the inconvenience this all caused me. After originally quoting me about 4 days to fix my car, it's now been 8 days, and I have no chance to pick it up until Day 10. Every time I call, I am told it will take an extra day, but I should receive a follow up. Do I ever receive one?? Nope! Finally, after day 5, 6 and 7, I was told the car would be ready before 1pm on Saturday (day 8), but they would call to confirm. So here we are, it's 2pm on Saturday, no phone calls, and they are closed. Till Monday. Really upset about this, two more days of a rental and I probably need to leave work early to pick it up on Monday. Update---- Ok - 5 minutes after posting and leaving some nasty messages on their machine, I got a phone call back - getting my car ready for today. Still not happy with the communication this week, but responsiveness via social/messages seemed to work. So I updated from 1 star to 4. read more

I'm new out here from Los Angeles. I really like Chicago, the food, the people and the everything about the Midwest culture/vibes... the Black Ice though...was a new concept to me until I tested it out one Saturday morning. I had some damage to my right side of my car after my accident. Fernando and his team were A-1 class acts. They fixed my car within 3-4 days. I had some damage to both doors of my right side and needed to fix my car ASAP. Fernando assessed the damage, communicated with me and gave me updates. They were very professional and renting a car through enterprise at their location was extremely easy in terms of processing. I appreciate the entire euro collision family. Hopefully I won't be back in terms of getting into any accidents but if I ever get any car troubles or problems, I know where to go. read more

This is the second time in 2 years that I have had to have my bumper replaced, both times I have taken it to Euro Collision. I wouldn't expect any better service from a body shop. Everyone from the receptionist to the rental car guy to the worker were fantastic. I was really surprised by the reviews that spoke about the lack of communication. My car was originally estimated to be in the shop for 2 days (1 day for the parts to come in, 1 day for the paint to dry). My car ended up being there for 3 days because Hazel was not happy with the paint job. Each day they called me to give me an update, I couldn't expect any more. I feel the prices were extremely fair. Also, having a life time guarantee doesn't hurt. Something happens to my car again, I'll be taking it back to Euro Collision. read more

Chris P was great to work with. Geico sent us to Euro Collision after I was rear ended on the highway...needed a whole new bumper. Glad we got to know this place - they were fast on scheduling, repairing, and great customer service all around. I received several status updates along the way and the repairs look like new. BEWARE AND STAY AWAY!!! If you care about your car do not bring it here! They will take turns taking it for joyrides around the city! I found out the hard way. --------- Story below-------- Maybe it's just me, but I'm very protective and meticulous with my vehicle. I put a lot of time and money into it. Unfortunately, my car got in a fender bender and my car needed work. Based on the reviews, I thought this was the best place for me. They initially told me 3 days for the repairs and I can come right in and pick it up. So, 3 days pass and I went there expecting it was competed as promised. As I arrive I was told that it was going to take another 4 more days and there was a mix up. They installed the wrong parts! (mixed up the trim levels base vs M). I'm like fine, whatever..honest mistake. It happens to the best of us. Okay, so 4 more days it is. Finally when it was time to pick it up, the owner was apologetic and owned up to the mistake. I got the car back and it looked good. A few days later, I noticed there was receipts in between the driver seat and the middle console. They were bar and restaurant receipts dated during the time of the repair. In my mind, I was thinking okay well maybe it just fell out of the mechanics pocket. I do have bucket seats. On the other hand it made me curious and I dug a bit further. After a few trips around the city, I found that my car was used on a Saturday night for a date. I have the valet footage to prove it. Also, snippets of my car reving and launching in an empty shopping plaza. I was furious when I found out! Since then, I've filed a formal police report and have submitted the evidence. The owner won't even own up to it and says that the evidence won't hold up, "go ahead and waste your time". Definitely stay away. They are dishonest and untrustworthy people! read more
