I brought my convertible to Mr Ding And Dent to get it back to show room shape. Brian took the time to explain the entire process and all of the options. He removed all of the little dings and dents that happened over the past 11 years. He also detailed the exterior above and beyond my capability. Clayed the entire car and a shine that lasted literally the entire Summer. It looked like it rolled off the assembly line. If you have not had your car detailed in this fashion, trust me, it is worth every penny! and at a fraction of what a body shop would charge! Great job! read more

I started out going here just for oil change, which included tire rotation every other change…read more When it was time for new tires I had Mario price them out and his price was competitive and he gave every other oil change a free rotation, made up the cost difference in less than 10000 miles. Recently I took the car in for brakes and asked him to do all 4, he called and said the rear brakes were good for another 6 months... when was the last time someone didn't try to sell you the extras? Great service. Today I called him because I thought the starter was bad on my car, I explained that I had full battery power for windows, radio, power locks etc... the battery appeared to be fine. At first he referred me to another location that had a towing service and may be able to better help me out. He called back 2 minutes later and suggested that maybe the batter just didn't have the power to turn the starter, we jumped it and I'm going to Farm and Fleet to put a new battery in after work. Not many good, honest people out there and especially when dealing with auto mechanics unfortunately. They always want to sell you an air filter, radiator fluid, coolant, etc... Mario does a great job and is always fair. I try to refer business as much as possible, never feel like I've gotten "bent over" after leaving.

I recently bought a used car and even though I bought it through a dealership, it had some issues: the inside was dirty, there were scratches around the handles and on the doors, and it generally just felt like someone else's car. I was looking for someone local near the Waukegan/Gurnee area who could detail it and repair the scratches. But I decided to contact Mr. Ding and Dent even though he stays in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He's definitely worth the drive. He invited me over for a free consultation, did a thorough inspection of my car, and broke down all of the costs for me. We ended up settling on a day about a week later. He finished everything in less than a day, and did a really thorough job-- he even went ahead and fixed some small things that we hadn't noticed during the consultation. I will definitely go back to Brian for any of my car needs and would recommend him to anyone who needs any dent/scratch repair or detailing. We have gone to Brian for both my and my wife's car. My wife purchased a new car and in the first 3 weeks of owning it, some opened their car door into the side of her car. When Brian was all done, it looked like nothing had happened at all. He is a great guy and very easy to work with. The pricing is very reasonable and was less than going to a traditional body shop, not to mention, no paint was needed for the repair so her car still has the factory paint job. We inherited a 2014 Cadillac that had not been taken care of due to age and illness. The inside was a mess but the car itself was in great shape.
