This garage was recommended to me by a friend, and I could not be happier with my experiences here. I've been taking my car here for the past four years for maintenance and oil changes. It's a 40 minute drive from my house, but I always make the trip. They've done great work on my car, and the total cost usually ends up being a bit less than what they quoted me. Johnny Good is the best, most ethical, trustworthy, auto repair shop in Aurora! We have been taking our cars to Johnny Good for 20 years. My father in law, wife , son, daughter in law, have all been taking our cars there exclusively. Anything from oil changes to major repairs. We will not go anywhere else. In fact, Jonathan advised me on which car I should buy from a repair standpoint. I absolutely trust his advice or opinion. Here's an example of their honesty. This summer my car wouldn't start. I tried jumping it and nothing. I called a tow truck. He tried jumpstarting it with the same result. It was towed to Johnny Good. I explained what was wrong and left it in his hands. It was Friday so I expected it to be in the shop for a few days. 20 minutes later John calls me and says I hope you're not to far from the shop. Your car is running and ready to go! We turned around and picked it back up. Not sure what happened, but it did simply need a battery charge. Its been fine since then. Some car repair shops would have kept it over the weekend and made up something that was wrong with a $500 price. Took my wife's car in to get the A/C system recharged after replacing the A/C Condenser. Both Johns (father and son) are very nice and best of all they are super cheap. Just took my car to Johnny after hearing a great recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. I have a Toyota Rav4 that the heater motor went out in and was quoted an approximate cost to replace it. When I picked up my car it was about $50 cheaper! They are honest , friendly and knowledgeable. Due it being so cold outside they even pulled my car inside prior to me arriving so it would warm up. Now that's service! We now have an appt to take our truck in to have an oil leak fixed. I definitely recommend Johnny Good for your automotive repair needs!! read more

This is the second time I have taken my car to Johnny Good and the second time they have been incredibly helpful, honest and did not try to give me a list of everything else that could have possibly been fixed with my car. They do have a bit of a wait (I made my appointment one week ago), but it is well worth the wait to have such great service. No matter what service you need done on your car, I could not suggest a better auto shop to take it to. My check engine light came on during our trip back from Texas. When we got home I wanted to get the car diagnosed right away, so we weren't doing any additional damage. They fit me in that day and all it turned out to be was a loose hose. They hooked it back up and sent me on my way free if charge. They also gave my kid a bubble wand and bubbles. Great shop with very friendly staff. I called to get a quote to have my rotators and break pads replaced, was given a fair price. They were up front and honest. Told me that my brake pads were in good shape, only changed the rotators and saved me $150. I would highly recommend this shop. read more

I bought a 1993 Sub legacy from a used car lot . That being said, I wanted it to be inspected so I would be aware of any issues . I thought the brakes might need replaced because of the way it was acting, or maybe CV joints. When they were finished, they called me and told me the brakes were good, and everything else on the car was great. They did turn the rotors and did an all-wheel alignment, which I asked for. Their price was very reasonable, and they did the work in a reasonable time frame. I am now taking another vehicle I just purchased to have it gone over (the fee is well worth it), and having some work done on the turbo. I have full confidence in their abilities and prices. I have never before gone back to a garage a 2nd time, but I will now. They are great! read more

I am so happy to have found Johnny Good. This is the second time I have taken my car to them. They did a great job both times and didn't charge me an outrageous amount or tell me that I needed more work than I did. The first time I took my car there, my service engine soon light had come on and was telling me to replace the Catalytic Converter. I had already taken my car to three different mechanics, two of which had already replaced it. That part is not cheap. It costs around 700.00. I could not afford to replace it again. I told this to Johnny Good and they looked for the real problem and found a dirty sensor which cost me 30.00 to replace. normally the light would come back on around 6 months later. It has been over a year now, and the light hasn't come back on, and I haven't needed a new catalytic converter. This most recent visit was due to hitting a bucket that had fallen off a worker's truck on the freeway. They took a look at it, and told me I was lucky and all I needed was an alignment. They could have told me any number of things were damaged on that one, and I probably would have believed them anyway, but they didn't. I feel like these guys are honest with me and care about their customers, and I tell all my friends to go there because they are the most honest mechanics I have ever met.
