Step by step, I was taken care of in a way that I had not received medically since I was a child, or maybe ever. Every question I had or thought I wanted to share was answered and listened to attentively and with genuine enthusiasm. I couldn't believe how deviated my septum was and so scheduling a septoplasty was definitely the next step. I had my procedure done yesterday and each person who helped me was incredibly kind and made me feel safe and comfortable. Even the doctor, whose only job was to perform the procedure made sure to let me know what was happening step by step. Of course, being heavily sedated helped a lot, as I was extremely anxious beforehand, but the care I was given made it even better. So far, not even 24 hours after surgery, I am in no pain whatsoever. They already called me this morning to check up on me and I look forward to my post-op check up. I couldn't recommend this place any more than I already do. Thank you to all the staff and Dr. Sigari for a wonderful experience.

Unfortunately, things took a turn when I interacted with Angela (the blonde older lady staff member). She was very aggressive about trying to schedule me for an elective procedure that I wasn't even sure I needed yet. Instead of giving me space to think things over or ask questions, I felt pressured and uncomfortable. She kept making comments about how she works in multiple offices and making the appointment for a few months out would be easier for HER. She kept saying "I can't even call you to follow up in 5 months?" And said I would need to pay my copay to hold the appointment. Her attitude really took a turn and she just handed me a black folder and said "I guess you can just read about it yourself then, you're all set" and I walked myself out without anyone saying goodbye, or following up. I hope the office can address this, because the medical care itself was good--but the end was a total bait and switch.

I originally called to make a consultation appointment, and they had said that my consultation would be free. Upon entrance, they changed what they said and told me that I would actually have to pay $45. This was annoying, but fine. I told her that I had been told that it would be free, and she said, "Yes, and I misspoke, and I'm sorry about that, but now you need to pay $45." Whatever. Then, after Dr. Miller had said that my procedure would be covered by insurance, she came back and said that no, it would not be covered, even Dr. Miller was pretty sure that it would be. After a little back and forth between them, Dr. Miller told her to look into it, and if it was not covered by my insurance, he would just charge me $25. Two weeks later, I found that *surprise* it *was* covered by my insurance! She was about to charge me x3 the price of something that my insurance ... literally covered .... without checking. Then, I tried to pay my bill online, and the people at the front desk had inputted the incorrect e-mail address, so I could not pay my bill. They tried to say that I gave them the wrong e-mail (but it's my name........ pretty sure I know how to spell my own name?) and were really rude when I spoke to them. So even though I would like to go back and see Dr. Miller, I will not be because this whole process was really annoying and stressful for no reason.

Make no mistake, if you are after a warm & fuzzy teddy bear experience this is not what you'll get. He is all business and not Mr. Chatty. He gets right to the point and asks the necessary questions and gives you the information you need to know. I find him to be knowledgable and efficient. The staff, in contrast, are warm and congenial - I like them and have never had any issues. Really my only issue is that I think too many patients are booked which causes unavoidable wait time; expect to be seen 30-45 minutes after your actual appointment time.
