I scheduled my first ever ENT appointment with Del Rey MD in March and with each step of the process, I was thoroughly impressed. Step by step, I was taken care of in a way that I had not received medically since I was a child, or maybe ever. Every question I had or thought I wanted to share was answered and listened to attentively and with genuine enthusiasm. I couldn't believe how deviated my septum was and so scheduling a septoplasty was definitely the next step. I had my procedure done yesterday and each person who helped me was incredibly kind and made me feel safe and comfortable. Even the doctor, whose only job was to perform the procedure made sure to let me know what was happening step by step. Of course, being heavily sedated helped a lot, as I was extremely anxious beforehand, but the care I was given made it even better. So far, not even 24 hours after surgery, I am in no pain whatsoever. They already called me this morning to check up on me and I look forward to my post-op check up. Bait and switch. Try a different office. The nurse and doctor I saw were both great--kind, professional, and helpful. I felt comfortable and well taken care of during that part of my visit. Unfortunately, things took a turn when I interacted with Angela (the blonde older lady staff member). She was very aggressive about trying to schedule me for an elective procedure that I wasn't even sure I needed yet. Instead of giving me space to think things over or ask questions, I felt pressured and uncomfortable. She kept making comments about how she works in multiple offices and making the appointment for a few months out would be easier for HER. She kept saying "I can't even call you to follow up in 5 months?" And said I would need to pay my copay to hold the appointment. Her attitude really took a turn and she just handed me a black folder and said "I guess you can just read about it yourself then, you're all set" and I walked myself out without anyone saying goodbye, or following up. I hope the office can address this, because the medical care itself was good--but the end was a total bait and switch. read more

From start to finish, my experience was nothing short of exceptional--especially as this was my first time seeing an ENT specialist. A huge thank you to Charlotte, my PA at the Marina del Rey office. She took the time to thoroughly explain my CT scan, listened attentively to my concerns, and provided clear, thoughtful solutions for the sinus pressure and multiple sinus infections I've dealt with over the past year. Also a big thanks to Trisha who walked me through the process and provided me my insurance coverage information. I had my procedure done at the Long Beach location and was just as impressed. Lauryn and Megan were incredibly kind, calming, and welcoming--they truly made me feel comfortable and cared for throughout the entire process. Dr. Sigari did an outstanding job; the procedure was far less painful than I expected with local anesthesia, and everything was handled with precision and care. Overall, my experience at both the Marina Del Rey and Long Beach offices was beyond incredible. The entire team created an environment that was professional, reassuring, and genuinely compassionate. I booked a next day appointment with Dr. Alison Ochoa, PA through Zocdoc due to some ear pain. I don't love visiting any type of medical office to be honest and generally get anxious, but Dr. Ochoa was super friendly and calming. She talked me through everything and was able to get me on a treatment plan to support me. I felt like she had a great bedside manner and actually listens to her patients which is not always the case with medical professionals. Offices were super clean. Only downfall is you have to pay for parking. read more

First time visiting and I'm HIGHLY Impressed with the Quality of care Del Rey MD has provided. I don't feel like they're just checking me in to check out. I went there because the urgent care did no have the tool to remove some piece of ear wax. Immediately they say all the patients get a ct scan of their face. At first I refused it. Through the visit they convinced me. Then read me the report and said my sinuses were block and w a procedure they can widen them and they can remove some fat. I agree but the more I thought it did not feel right. I went to my USC doctors and as expected all I have was a deviated septum that has not interfere w my breathing. What was recommended was not needed. Be cautious and get a second opinion. Procedures recommended were unnecessary. Get a second opinion by a reputable doctor. read more

This place is an absolute SCAM. DO NOT come here. Just don't. The irony is that I actually read the Yelp reviews before I went in, but their Google Reviews have less mixed reviews and just went by those. There was no doctor. There was just a PA. I ended up getting charged $248 (not including my co-pay) because they performed an endoscopy and a CT scan. (And you know they're rolling in the dough when there's a CT machine *in* the office.) My advice to you if you decide to go here is DO NOT get any imaging done. Just don't. They will try to tell you it's necessary, but all the while they try to SELL you on a sinuplasty (that costs thousands of dollars out-of-pocket. So instead of having any kind of quality of care, they are just saleswomen trying to sell you something that is extremely costly to the patient. Places like this are the reason people don't trust doctors. read more

In immediate need of an ENT and was able to make an appointment on a Friday at 3pm PT for the following business day. The appointment was with the NP and was more of an educational session! The office is equipped with all innovated techniques/machines, it was amazing! A full scan of my husband was done within 15 minutes and his WAY OVERDUE treatment was on the calendar the following week and will continue to undergo "sleep study" care at this office! Del Rey ENT is unfortunately not 'within network', but is worth the out-of-pocket costs and flexible. I work in the healthcare industry (insurance) and Del Rey ENT is worth it. The office staff is accommodating and professional. The office is very clean! The parking is very convenient for the location. On surgery day I brought work with me, assuming I would be there for a good portion of the day and I didn't even have time to finish my coffee (compliments of Del Rey). I am a huge advocate for referrals and networking, especially in healthcare and specialty needs! I highly recommend Del Rey ENT and open to any discussion about the surgery performed and ongoing care with Del Rey ENT! Haven't been into Del Ray since Covid time, but got the same great care I got back then. Was easy to get an appointment with Lauryn Ciszek. I've had a rapid hearing loss and some equilibrium problems. Had a CT scan right away, then an exam. Very thorough explaination of CT results. I was sent out for audio testing and was able to get a quick appointment. After results of Audio exam came in, Del Ray called me and wanted me to see a Otolaryngology specialist. I was given a MRI referral from them as well as the one from Del Ray. I was able to get an MRI yesterday on the Del Ray referral. All this has been since last Monday. The front office has been keeping up with me all along. Very much recommend this office. Loks like sinus procedure will be next. I'll have to follow up on that later. read more

It's my fault for not asking the receptionist the itemized list of charges were going to be but I didn't pay much attention since I thought the bills wasn't going to be that high. Before my 1st visit and after my 2 visit, I asked if my insurance was going to cover it and if I had a bill to pay but I was told that I don't owe anything during the office visits but got sent a bill about 2 weeks later after services were performed. They charged around $2600 to my insurance, (I didn't think it was going to be this high and based on the reviews I've seen so far, I believe this clinic tries to charge as much as they can depending on the patient's insurance coverage. My insurance paid the majority of the cost but I still believe they are over charging for services rendered. 1st visit CT scan ear wax removal they used some sort of scope to check inside my nose and proposed a surgery to reduce my turbinate's (inner nose) to improve breathing (which I declined) 2nd visit ear wax removal for my other ear (which wasn't the affected ear) I decided to take it anyway minor checkup and I used ear drops and a bulb syringe within 1 week between my 1st and 2nd visit so my left affected ear was all clear during the check-up read more

The ladies in the office were all super welcoming and they were able to find the cause of my issues. I they have up to date technology that they also utilized to show and explain everything that I had claimed as issues. They pulled up my scan on a screen and compared to a normal scan. I've been waiting to complete my post-op to write this review, and can say from start to finish I've had an amazing experience with Dr. Sigari and his incredible team--Lauryn, Jade, April, Jo, Nadeen, Megan, Emma, and Nikita (sorry if I missed anyone!). The patient experience was genuinely top notch. There was never a moment of feeling rushed or pressured, and they patiently took the time to answer all of my questions. I want to thank them directly in this review for embodying the idea of patient care, it's not often one feels that way with healthcare these days. I've suffered from sinus problems my whole life and some family members recommended the Balloon Sinuplasty procedure after having it themselves. The procedure and healing process was quick and easy, and I already feel improvement (clearer sinuses, better breathing) a few weeks out. Red flags I saw and wish I took more seriously. Asking me to post a review in the middle of my first appointment, being told from th office coordinator that her "vibe check is off" when asking me what I do and how much of my 2k deductible I could pay... I had a bad gut feeling when I was told I couldn't cancel over the phone when I called the office. In fact, I couldn't cancel any scheduled procedure unless I called or texted their employee April directly. After jumping through hoops and efforts of convincing to not cancel, I ended up cancelling. After going to a second ENT, I was told my deductible is actually waived given the in office procedure (same procedure I was going to do at del rey) but for some reason... April was asking me how much of my deductible I could pay. It was weird. I almost paid 500 for this procedure at del rey. They're crooks guys. Don't fall for this. I can only imagine how many elderly people they've taken advantage of and folks in general who are unable to do their homework or see a second opinion. read more

Very thankful for this place! I have a family history of small sinuses which can cause constant pain and pressure from sinuses not draining well. I was told that Dr. Sigari is rarely even in the hospital and most patients are seen by his Physicians assistants. These guys are the real deal. Not gonna lie, I was a skeptic initially considering how many balloon scinoplastys they do. But I've struggled w/ sinusitis for over 10 years and this was the first team that actually offered a resolution to my ongoing sinus issues. I'm in the medical field so I did my research & made a few calls before I did the procedure. Not only is it all legit, but this crew is the best in the biz at what they do; and they have fun doing it. April always greets me over the phone or in person with the biggest smile and playful energy. Shawn was super helpful in my first appt - explained everything in detail from procedure to billing, put my mind at ease, and answered my zillion questions when I called back the next day. Updating after having visits with other ENTs (not just the PA). What I learned is that this place clearly does not follow standard medical practices/protocol (clear indicator that this is a profit-driven medical clinic): 1. It is ABSOLUTELY NOT required to have a CT scan done on first visit with provider. The point of first visit is to collect your medical history, go over current symptoms, do a thorough exam (w/ endoscope or some other tools). If a CT scan is needed, they will then order after the initial exam. 2. CT scans are normally sent to a Radiologist to have interpreted. Keep in mind, they are medical DOCTORS who have gone through extensive training and read images all day. At Del Rey they only seem to have a PA read and go over the scans with you AND they'll be the ones suggesting a procedure the day of?? Are you kidding me? This is a misdiagnosis waiting to happen (which I believe is what happened to me). 3. Surgical alternatives / medications are usually offered first before offering a procedure, it is when the prescribed medication fails to provide symptomatic relief that the DOCTOR will offer surgery. From the reviews I read and personal experience, they seem to skip this step A LOT and move straight away to offer you surgery. And again, why is the PA, who is not performing your surgery, offering you surgery? 4. I have only seen the doctor on the day of surgery. No pre-op, no follow ups from him. Only seen by the PA before & after. To this day, I find this strange, unprofessional and perhaps even breaking medical standards of care. Also, PAs have to be supervised by a doctor, so like, where the heck is the doctor??? I am now having a revision surgery to correct the mistakes this doctor done, so just some warnings for anyone considering coming here. Don't blindly trust the google reviews or awards that are being shown. read more

Upon entering the office for my appointment, I noticed a sign patients must wear a mask. No problem - I didn't have one on me so I was told I could purchase one for $1. I explained to the receptionist that it would be a good idea to mention this requirement ahead of time and gladly paid a buck for a mask. A few minutes later, one of the gals in the office told the receptionist that she shouldn't have apologized to me bc she tells everyone that makes an appointment a mask is required! I hate writing negative reviews but this place earned it. My son has been experiencing allergies and as any parent can understand you want to fix it asap. When we arrived they said "we don't accept children under 16 and we left you a voicemail." They DID NOT leave a voicemail or even an email, but proceeded to say they did. They don't even have that information on the website. We even double checked to make sure and still nothing. What sucks the most is their lack of empathy. The 3 ladies at the desk just stared at their screens and gave the fake line "I'll be sure to let my manager know about the issue." Yeah... sure... Do yourself a favor and find a better place.
