Dr. Brian Wong has been my Pulmonologist for over 20 years…read more He is the best doctor I have ever gone to in always helping me through some critical illnesses in my life. I have had a progressive disease for 30 years which started with severe adult on set asthma. I saw a few different Pulmonologists for about the first 5 years of very severe asthma. These other doctors I saw did more damage than good and I was very fortunate to meet Dr Wong. Be almost immediately started to get a hold on the asthma that had taken over my life and started to improve my asthma very quickly. For over 20 years I turn to him to get the final answer in regards to other health problems I have had because be has always been genuinely concerned and very knowledgeable, taking lots of time and always,kind. I have not had asthma for many years now thanks largely to Dr Wong being always current with new treatments and medications and always taking time with you. Even after the appointment, she called to offer an option that might make it easier than undergoing a rather uncomfortable procedure at the hospital so hopefully I'll be able to avoid having to go through that but we'll see. Anyway, I highly recommend her. I will update my review later after my CT and see what steps are required if any. Hopefully, antibiotics will take care of what's going on so I can avoid more complicated steps. Either way, gotta do what I gotta do right? Fingers crossed.

I dont understand why medical staff think this is okay and this happened to me at other medical places..you dont touch patients' personal belongings. especially with covid and she had no gloves on. checking out was weird and had to wait in a line to just do so. you could tell front staff was overwhelmed and bothered. they were fine with me but you can tell even with 6 of them..it was a lot of work for them. also they will never ever return your call back to make an appt btw. when you call, just choose you are a physical or medical person calling which is 0 because after calling for 2 days and no call back if you press 1 didnt do anything. but when i did press 0, someone automatically answered and i got an appt quickly. it sucks that i had to make one that way and i even explained ive been calling for 2 days to make an appt and left two msgs. they didnt have a explain why but apologize. it is a busy office so i understand but new patients like myself view that as a first impression seems a little off. overall, it seems like a nice clean office but you can tell staff is overwhelmed, in a rush and missing key points of customer service and complete patient care.

I could, and did watch it at home. Neither the Nurse nor the Receptionist accepted responsibility for communicating with us whether we could leave and come back or not. That's one wasted hour of my life watching numerous people come and go while we sat there, as if our time doesn't matter, because we are Black. I only mentioned that fact because we were the only Black people. This is the complete opposite of the excellent experience we usually get at TorMed. The care was excellent for everybody except us as we sat there and watched the other patients get treated with dignity and respect. The only thing the nurse could say is that she didn't think our mistreatment was race related, but "she did not provide any other reason at all." Cognitive Dissonance does not allow racist people to see their racism. Look it up, it's a fact of life. Thus, we present our concerns here as a warning for other minorities. If you are not a minority, don't worry about this.

She spent a lot of time discussing his symptoms and test results, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the rest of the clinic completely dropped the ball. After the appointment, my brother was told to wait in the exam room for a blood draw and to pick up a stool test kit. He waited about 30 minutes with no one returning. When he finally stepped out to check what was going on, the hallways were dark and the office was basically closed. It appeared the staff had simply forgotten he was still in the exam room. If he hadn't walked out and called for help, he very likely could have been locked inside the office after hours. Because the staff who perform blood draws had already left, he now has to come back another day. Since the clinic isn't open on the weekends, he'll have to take additional time off work just to finish the test which is frustrating and annoying. Dr. Chen was great, but the clinic's staff coordination and professionalism were extremely disappointing. No patient should be forgotten in an exam room at closing time.
