The ER and hospital are listed separately on YELP, but the review covers both locations. Too bad…read more Therefore, I'm updating my review based on the fact that the entire hospital should not be judged by a few incompetent people in the Emergency Room. To make a patient with chest pains, and critically low oxygen levels that was sent over from Urgent Care wait three hours behind drunks, animal bites, colds and flu etc. is ridiculous, that was incompetence at its peak. To not allow her husband to accompany her when her chart Clearly states that she is having memory issues, is uncaring. To allow other non-Black patients to accompany family members afterwards to Triage , is racist! To have a setup where, in spite of HEPA privacy, the entire waiting room can hear every thing said, is a "bad decision!" But, The hospital side has some of the greatest surgeons in the world, like cardiologist Aziz Ghaly, who has performed so many "impossible surgeries ", including mine, makes up for a lot. DO BETTER EMERGENCY ROOM! What's wrong with yall?

Sad as the girl at the front desk was so incredibly nice and friendly, very helpful too! The other gal should not be interacting with patients. I politely asked if for my weight I could just tell her how much I weigh. She makes some snide comment about I don't know why this is such a big deal to you, we just need a ballpark figure. Like what I asked was completely out of the question. Why not just say, I need to weigh you. She did accept what I told her, but felt the need to give me her opinion. Hmmm who's the customer here?! There are SO many choices now, Providence, UCLA and other independent places for this. Then she asked me to unhook my bra, but when we were done, she didn't offer to step out of the room so I could reattach my bra. I was struggling with my hands under my shirt.and Finally I just decided I wanted to get out of there and just left with my bra unhooked. Talk about no respect for patient. I'd skip this place! Very UNPROFESSIONAL!! Update: I did call business office and TMMC directly and left two different messages for individuals, so I hope I get a call from one of them,

I want to thank Dr. Peter Huynh and his entire team. Yesterday I received my eighth epidural…read moresteroid injection in my lower back over the past six years. The first three injections were at a different hospital. Dr. Huynh has performed the procedure for me two or three times since then. I should have written this review a long time ago, but better late than never. Yesterday's injection was by far the best one I've ever had. The actual procedure took maybe two minutes. I barely felt the numbing needle and barely felt the larger needle. It was over before it even began. For someone who has been through this many times, that level of skill and care means a great deal. The pain I deal with comes from my condition, not from the way the injection was performed. Thank you very much, Dr. Huynh, and thank you to the entire staff. Special thanks to Dr. Millicent (Milli) -- I apologize if I have the spelling wrong and I don't know your last name. I've spoken with Milli every single time I've come in for this procedure over the past four years. We both have corgis, and we always ask each other how our dogs are doing. Milli is always very friendly and kind, and I really appreciate that. The first person I met yesterday was Robert. He got me hooked up to the machine and ready for the procedure. He is Filipino, and my wife is also Filipino, so we bonded right away over the special way Filipino women act when they are upset. We both laughed because we knew exactly what the other was talking about. Dr. Tang (I remember her name because it's like the drink Tang) was also there. I believe she assisted Dr. Huynh or may have performed part of the injection itself. I was lying on my stomach so I couldn't see, but she was professional, kind, and funny. She made me feel very comfortable. Oscar helped push me into the operating room and later into the recovery room. He was really cool and friendly. I remembered his name easily because Oscar was my Spanish name in high school Spanish class. There was a woman named Vun who ran the operating table and took the images of the area being worked on. I didn't speak with her much because I was on my stomach, but I said hello and she seemed very friendly and a valuable part of the team. There was at least one other nurse who helped me move from the regular bed to the operating table. She helped me keep my dignity during that transfer, and I'm sorry I don't remember her name. I have a name in my mind but I don't want to say it in case I'm wrong. In the recovery room, Wendy was great. My birthday is August 16 and hers is August 17. We bonded over that, and I learned she's going to Cancun for her birthday with her boyfriend. I hope you have a wonderful time, Wendy. She gave me juice and crackers, called my wife to pick me up, and was a friendly face that topped off the whole experience. Wendy also wrote down Dr. Peter Huynh's full name for me, which is why I have it correctly. I should have asked her to write down the other names too, but I know she was busy. The final person I met was a nice woman who pushed me out of the hospital in the wheelchair. I have no idea what her name was, but I appreciate you. Thank you very much -- you were very friendly too. Overall, this was an excellent experience from start to finish. Thank you again to Dr. Huynh and the entire team for the care and kindness.

Around 2:35 a.m. the staff member I dealt with was rude, irritated, raised her voice, and spoke to me in a very demeaning way when I asked questions. She helped other people before providing me with the information I needed, and when I asked where the complaint box was, she completely ignored me afterward. I've visited this hospital many times for myself and my children, and both of my children were born here. I've never experienced this type of treatment before. I understand that an ER can be stressful, but that doesn't excuse treating patients disrespectfully. She should not be checking in people in need of medical care with her attitude. Very sad, do better little company
