I found this place on Yelp and looked at the website and found their chat feature. I was able to sign up really quickly and then after you sign up, they make you fill out paper work which took around 10 to 15 minutes if I can recall. I did not realize this place was actually near my house like walking distance if I really wanted to and in that plaza where the Golden Chick, Aldi, Pie place off a really busy street. I did a teeth cleaning and x-rays which was covered by my insurance. I was impressed how friendly the staff was, the hygienist, Linda, Wendy the front desk, and the Dr. herself. My appointment started on time at 9am, I got x-rays done and were much different as their were hardly any biting and gagging and Linda was very patient and kind and had a smile behind the mask as you can tell she loved her job. She gave me a couple of great pointers of how to floss and how to brush which was great. The overall process took around 50 minutes which is normal for cleaning and x-rays. They recommended that I get a night guard with lowers retainers removed and get ortho treatment on my upper teeth. The quotes were not too bad as insurance covered some of it. I ended up getting a night guard and lower retainers removed and they ended up doing it right away. The ortho I felt could wait as I did not feel like spending that much for that day, but they did not pressure me into getting it which was nice. Maybe in the future I will consider. It took another hour to removed my retainer and do impressions on my teeth. Impressions are not fun to do, but they did their best to comfort me while I was in pain. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to go to.

I decided to go with the best reviews and the receptionist that made me the most comfortable. While most dentist offices I contacted were either closed on Fridays (?!?!) or didn't have an opening, Mirror Lake Dentistry made it work. They made an appointment for my husband during a time that worked for HIS schedule, and gave plenty of time to work on ALL of his problem areas in one appointment. All costs were addressed up front, and my husband came home with a brand new mouth saying (and I quote) "5 stars. I know who I'm giving my dental record to now." They were kind, quick, didn't give him the run around, THEY HAVE NETFLIX, and my husband is no longer afraid of getting dental work. Thank you, MLD! After waiting 20 mins because they didn't notice me in their waiting room I went back for X-rays and exam. They told me I had a serious situation that required a root canal and crown $4000! BUT if I got the procedure done that week they were running a "SPECIAL" $500 off. I've never heard of such a thing. I passed on the procedure and went to specialist and he saw no damage to that tooth!! I'm so thankful I found another dentist, this has left a bad taste in my mouth. Also I received an invoice from them this week for a cleaning that I had a year ago!! They said it takes insurance a long time, I've never had insurance take a year. I would advise anyone NOT to go to this dentist. I may have had just simply a bad experience, but my gut says they are unethical.

I was charged for a treatment (laser procedure) that was never performed. Despite multiple attempts to contact the office--via phone and email--I have yet to receive a refund or even a proper response. Every time I called, I was either put on hold indefinitely or given the runaround with no resolution. My emails have gone completely unanswered. This lack of professionalism and accountability is unacceptable. It is unethical and completely wrong to charge patients for services that were not rendered and then ignore all follow-up communication. Patients deserve transparency, honesty, and respectful treatment--not to be taken advantage of. I'm writing this to warn others: please be cautious before trusting this office with your care or your money. No one should have to chase down a business for a refund that is rightfully owed. This place is like no other as it reminds me a mini mall but for dentist specialties. I went for a cleaning and x-rays. My appointment was around 7:30am and I was down out in 50 minutes which is not too bad. I wish I knew about the mini-arcade that they have in there, but then again I would be occupied and not want to have my appointment nor head to work. The only downside is they do make you fill out a lot of paperwork and it is on your phone which sometimes it makes it hard to fill out. I wish they have an option to send it through email and fill it on the computer as doing it over the phone can be tricky. Xrays was not too bad, they have this machine that does a 360 xray which was fun, they do the other x-rays which where they stick the film in your mouth and take a snapshot. It is not too bad, but that takes around 20 minutes. Then, they did my teeth cleaning which took around 15 minutes. I spent the other 10 minutes waiting to get my teeth clean and then 5 minutes for the dentist to come in and check out the teeth. Overall, I do not mind coming here for my future visit. Staff was nice and friendly and patient.

The atmosphere is 10/10. Cute reception area with comfy chairs, they use an iPad for check in, fancy x-Ray equipment, TVs on the ceiling so that you can watch Netflix while you're getting work done. There's also a huge TV in each little room which is where they show you your X-rays as well as the pictures they take of your teeth (I could do without that part, just because I don't want to see my teeth that big and close to me lol). They play good music on pandora through said TVs, and the music is louder than I've ever heard in a medical office, but it's a vibe! I loveee it because I hate awkward silence. Lastly, the Dentist is super friendly and talkative, she chats with the dental hygienist and I just listen and laugh and add a comment in here or there when my mouth isn't occupied lol. My Son completed his appt and it went well but a few days later they contacted me stating my insurance was giving problems not covering one X-ray and to contact them. I did so and the insurance advised that a particular X-ray is only to be given annually which had the appt been scheduled 3 days later would have met the annual limit. The insurance advised that the dentist can not charge me the fee and this is their fault they didn't get clarity on the timeframes and they would have to eat the cost, advising me not to pay it. the dental office contacted me several times about payment and I advised them what I was told so instead of eating the cost they chose to no longer take me and my 4 children as patients. The fee was no were near the price of losing 4 customers.

If you are on the fence on finding a dentist or wanting to find a new dentist, congratulations you've just found your forever dentist. I am very picky about dentists, it takes time to build trust and know that you're in good hands. In fact, I kept the same dentist for ten years and traveled over an hour to make each appointment. I was very apprehensive and wanted to stay with what I knew. Life got busier and then COVID hit, I fell behind in my dental visits and I took the opportunity to do some research to see if there was a dentist closer to home. I am so glad I did. I was very impressed at the new technology that Dr. Bartz uses, it definitely made the visit easier and seemed to go much faster. The office was very clean and beautifully decorated, I was very comfortable at all times. The staff was very accommodating and wanted to make sure I was comfortable at all times. My experience with KB Dental and Dr. Bartz was first-rate all the way, I'm thankful to have found a dentist I can trust so close to home.
