I wanted to update my most recent experience with the smiles workshop in Forney. I was very disappointed about the time it took to actually deliver the partial that they were making for me after I finally received the partial. I had an issue with it and returned it to them and they obviously fixed it but overall, I'm just wanna update my perspective about the facility. It's great on end of delivery of the services but I still think they are Customer Service lacks just a bit but overall, I'd say that I'm very happy with my experience and I'm it only was there to receive some work that another office was unable to provide, but my experience is great and I'm had a cleaning also while I was there they did a great job with that so smiles workshop is really a great facility to visit. My last visit before this delivery of this partial was very very displeasing but with the delivery of the partial I think all of that has been rectified so to say thank you Mail. read more

This review comes with mixed emotions. My experiences here have not all been bad. I was a patient at this office for over four years. My hygienist, Bev, is simply amazing, and I truly hate that I have to leave her. She is the reason I stayed as long as I did. Over the years, I have seen constant doctor turnover, which leads me to believe this is a training facility. Because of that, I strongly caution patients to be very careful about what procedures they have done here. What should have been a routine procedure was handled poorly. In my opinion, the doctor chose profit over doing what was right, which ultimately cost me more money and led to unnecessary additional work. While they did offer to correct the mistake, by that point I had completely lost trust in the team. To be clear, my main issue is not with the clinical staff, but specifically with Jenny, the office manager. Unfortunately, she lacks professionalism, maturity, leadership, critical‑thinking skills, and basic customer service and patient‑care abilities. It took 7-8 months to get even partial resolution to my issue, and somehow, I became labeled as "the problem." This stemmed from her inability to have difficult conversations or answer direct questions. It is disappointing to see leadership project their own professional shortcomings onto patients, turning the situation into victimization and labeling the customer as problematic instead of addressing the real issue. Do better and find a role that better suits your strengths--this behavior is a poor representation of the company. Overall, for simple maintenance and cleanings, the team does a great job and I would recommend them. However, for anything beyond basic care, I strongly suggest seeking treatment elsewhere. DO NOT GO HERE In 2024, my appointment was cancelled without my knowledge. In May 2025, I had two extraction appointments scheduled. I was contacted while at work and told I had missed an appointment, but my actual appointment was the following day. Weeks later, I was informed the day before another appointment that it had been cancelled and I was being referred to a specialist. Months later, I was notified that my treatment could resume, and an appointment was scheduled six days later, but again, the day before the appointment, I was told my referral had expired. Today, I went in for a dental evaluation, and the office refused to allow me to see my dentist. I was told that the office would inform my care team, who referred me to them, that I need a specialist. I stated that I wanted to continue seeing the doctor and that I had already requested my referral be renewed by my Primary Care Team. I was then told they would call them directly. When I asked them to also inform my team that my appointments had been repeatedly cancelled without notifying me, I was told that I was not welcome and not to return. As a result, I am currently without care and must restart the referral process. These repeated last-minute cancellations, conflicting information, and being denied care disrupted my treatment and caused significant delays. read more

I would of given a 1 start rating, but the ladies at the front desk, the financial liaison and the tech ladies are as sweet as can be. RUN!!!!!! I came here for a simple cleaning and it turned into a whole scam. The providers pressured advanced care despite having been seen 3months prior by another dentist with a clean bill of health. Doctors did little to ensure patient comfort and kept us vaguely informed. If you do seek advanced services from them, prepare for it to be a long drawn out process and your quality of life (in terms of being able to eat) to be severely impacted. read more

I know there are always a lot of "where should I get braces done at". In an effort to save someone else an annoyance, skip Smile Workshop. Using them for our daughter's braces and they only have ortho services ONE day a month. You're out of town, kiddo is sick, they don't care. You just miss the ortho appointment that month which prolongs treatment. Oh but don't worry, they'll let you prolong the treatment plan by 2 months without paying any extra, but after that, there's a charge. And the orthos go to other Smile Workshops in the area on other days, but YOU aren't allowed to travel to them so you can have your kids plan followed. Terrible policy and no one will do anything about it. Steer clear. Incredibly inconvenient to only offer ONE day a month they'll see you. *and yes, I tried asking to talk to someone. "Nothing anyone can do about it". The cherry on the top today was I called earlier trying to move my appt and they said they were already double booked all afternoon. I've been waiting 1 hour and 15 min already. I will miss MY appointment somewhere else and had to pay a same day cancellation fee for Smile Workshops poor management. STEER CLEAR. read more

I transferred to this location after having had poor service at another location. Initially things started off fine. They don't allow anyone but the patient back so that was a little frustrating, but after I raised that as a concern a provider would come out to tell me how things were going. For the past 4 months or ortho treatment I've had to wait 45-90 minutes to get into my SCHEDULED appointment. One day we even left school early because they said the visit would be 2 hours and after waiting 90 min we had to reschedule because they couldn't get to us before closing. Time is the greatest commodity. It's worth more than money...you can't get time back. To have a issue to run off course one time, it happens, but this is a pattern. When I've asked for a remedy I'm always told someone will call to no avail. THIS time I asked for another location That has early mornings in hopes we could get in somewhere that opens early, only to be hung up on. I came in today for a cleaning and routine checkup. I left without a cleaning and a proposed plan for dental care of over $2200 which I cannot afford, even with my insurance. That plan included replacing old fillings, removing wisdom teeth, and root planing. This is the first time ever in my life that I've gone to the dentist and been refused a cleaning because they wanted to do a root planing instead. The dentist, hygienist, x-ray tech, and receptionist were nice enough, but I felt like they were salespeople. I go to the dentist regularly. I recently moved from Vegas and was looking for a new dentist after having had the same one for 15 years. Guess I'll have to keep looking. Super disappointed. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. They tell you a price and make you seem assure that everything is fine until you get hit with bills later on. I've had procedures done at multiple other dentist facilities and I've never had a worse experience than here. They send you 20 miles elsewhere to get the procedure done, misquote you and then fail to tell you that info but quick to send a bill in the mail. Just do yourself a favor and check out another dental facility. Very disappointed with the service here. read more

This office is amazing!! Dentists visits can be scary, and I've always been panicky. The staff is extremely kind. They always calm me down and talk me through everything before doing it. They even have an in house surgeon!! If your insurance works for this office DEFINITELY give them a try. read more

Less than zero stars is what I actually want to give this scamming dental office! My husband and I have good health and dental insurance. We had deep cleanings done, and were told what our insurance covered, and what we had to pay out of pocket ($150). We were then hit with a bill of almost $500, because they said our insurance did not cover certain things, and we had to take it up with the insurance to get that money. After arguing with the front desk lady, she then proceeded to tell us pricing is subject to change!!! How?????? We signed a form which showed an itemized break down of what was being done, with the amount out of pocket being $150!!! How can these people then send a bill in the mail and claim we owe them money? How can they tell us one thing, lie and tell us something completely different. The cherry on top is that they refused to give us an itemized breakdown of why we owe an extra $500. The lady at the front desk refused to let I speak with the general manager. She also told us that she cannot release our records because of Hyppa. Also, because we owe them money, they refuse to let us take our records , Yet she told us that she will email us the itemized bill. This is one hot mess and we have never had an issue with any dental office before. This is a scam stay far far away from them. They will tell you one thing they will explain what your insurance covers and you won't have to be responsible for anything else and then hit you with the bill in the mail later on. read more

Really enjoy the care provided at this office. Dr. Adams is great, and quickly established a rapport with myself and my kids and made us all feel comfortable. The office is beautiful, and the staff is super friendly. I will definitely enjoy continuing my family's dental care needs here. read more

The staff is friendly, but our orthodontic experience as a whole was often problematic. When we started, they told us ortho would be at this location more often than once a month. Two years later, one ortho day available. This means they are packed, always running late and if u can't make the one day they have available, you add another month to your program, which means extra charge of $99 for every month. We were told 18-24 months. We are at 30 months and told everyone month "maybe 1-2 more months". I would not recommend based on the availability of orthodontic services. read more

Smile Workshop is a Ripoff! Do not use this company under no circumstance. They shouldn't be allowed to do business with the tactics they use to mislead you into signing payday loan like contracts. They misled me into getting braces with them by telling me that my insurance was a HMO/PPO and that my insurance will reimburse me. I later found out from Humana Dental that my insurance is a PPO and the term HMO/PPO doesn't exist. What I should've been told was that I have excellent insurance but unfortunately Smile Workshop isn't in my network. Instead they lied to me to get me to sign a near $5,000 contract which I'll have to pay out of pocket for. I spoke with Becky Espinoza in financing to resolve this issue amicably by offering to pay $1000 for the removal of my braces. Instead Becky Espinoza told me "I might as well continue my appointments since I'm going to be charged no matter what and as for the HMO/PPO reference that may have been used to get me to sign the contract it's my word against the agent." As a Veteran and a working member of American Postal Workers Union at the height of Covid and the dark days in our country I'm disappointed with the greedy smile of Smile Workshop. read more

I came here for a teeth cleaning and to remove my wisdom tooth. Everyone is friendly and professional. The office is clean, cheerful and inviting. I was told up front the cost of everything and what my insurance would pay. The hygienist did an incredible job and Dr. Adams pulled my stubborn wisdom tooth out as gentle as possible. I will definitely be back for all my dental issues. I'm looking forward to getting my teeth professionally whitened. read more
