He treated my children wonderfully also. Recently my insurance changed and I paid out of pocket out of network prices and went through the trouble of getting reimbursed just to keep seeing Dr. Prince. I'm on the lookout for a new eye doctor ONLY because of ridiculous insurance but honestly I haven't found one yet and just might continue going here anyway where I know we'll be treated right.

Found them when we first moved to Salado in 2022 and are so happy with Dr. Rocha (currently on maternity leave) and Dr. McCown. Dr. Rocha helped me thru recurring chalazion issues and other dry eye problems. I highly recommend this practice to anyone needing annual eye exams or with eye problems.

Because my dr suggested them. They did not sell those. The clerk had a chip on her shoulder from the start. She brought up my insurance information and loudly announced to the room that I had no insurance. Actuality I did have benefits but for some reason she could not see them. She didn't try to call. I suspected a mistake and asked for a quote. She acted like I was nuts. But a long patter of hard sell with an extremely long detail of the 4 possible lens coatings I asked for a written quote. She snapped at me. I realized I had offended her and tried to apologize and she was even more rude. As I quietly got my prescription and apologized again she was making rude comments as I walked out the door. I have no idea about the doctors. I just needed new lenses and glasses. Of glasses they assured me they carried there were 3 frames they actually had. One red and 2 silver. One was so dirty I could not see out of the right lens. I just drove 40 more minutes to cedar park and found a huge assortment of frames with varilux lenses at lens crafter where a lovely person pulled up my vision benefits and sold me some kickass glasses. Learn from my sad experience and go where you have good service and good selection.

The front desk, the eye tests with the aid, the exam with the Dr were all great. Everyone was nice and pleasant, it was easy to get in and out without issue and I even got to park right in front. 10/10 I will be going back again and recommending to everyone to pay them all a visit. Only reason I wouldn't recommend it is if you hate everyone like Oscar the grouch from Sesame Street, I would hate to see someone killing the positive vibe they have going.

This was my first time visiting this Dr. at Belton Walmart. I have gone to other optometrists at…read moreother Walmarts but this Dr. was amazing. She was so friendly and listened carefully to my concerns. I was there for both eye exam and contacts. She explained the kind of contacts I would need and even showed me other options for contacts to read. I got several sample lenses to try. She did a thorough exam and found some minor issues no one had ever noticed. I spent as much time as I needed asking questions and never felt rushed. Overall, this was a very good experience and I am bringing my son and husband here for their eye care. I walked in there off the street and the receptionist took my info and did everything to make sure my insurance was accepted and working fine. He then scheduled an appt for a little while later. All very smooth! I will be returning.

I was examined for contacts and glasses. I gave the information to have my previous eye records…read moretransferred. They lost the information I gave them to have my records transferred. I offered to go get a copy and they refused it. Dr. Young examined me and failed to properly diagnose me. Dr. Young said my eyes were without astigmatism. I've had astigmatism my entire life. That doesn't go away. The brand of contacts that she prescribed was not my usual brand. She wrongly stated that the brand I used wasn't being made/sold anymore. I literally found the brand online still for sale. I tried the sample contacts and when I told them they made me feel dizzy they said give it a day. I was so sick after three days of giving it time, I rescheduled. The second exam didn't turn out any better. She had to ask her staff how to use the machines. She didn't get the prescription right again I found out. I realized it was still wrong when I couldn't see at all out of my left eye. My glasses were also wrong and had to be sent back. I got them back and the lenses fell out within days. I had her just renew my old prescription as I now had to save to go to a new eye doctor. I don't know if she's had a stroke, can't see well herself or is plain incompetent but her license should definitely be suspended until it can be determined why she couldn't use the machines or read the diagnosis on the eye machine or if she was simply acting out of malice.
