To start off I measured the floor myself which I highly recommend. My actual square footage was 408, other companies tried telling me 430 & 440!! Then they give you a quote based on that figure. Kevin was eager to earn my business and showed up at the previously agreed upon appt time. He has examples to show you as well. I have a paver driveway and he pointed out that some companies will just acid wash the floor, but that will ruin your paver driveway. Therefore, he decided the best option was to diamond grind it. He can offer custom colors and Since I did not want a full cast of chips he did a medium cast which is harder to do and did not leave any clumps of chips anywhere! It is very balanced. Steps: 1. Acid Wash &/OR Diamond Grind 2. Primer base coat 3. 100% Solid/Solvent Self-Leveling Epoxy 4. Add chips 5. Clear coat My 2 car garage floor took him and his partner 2 days to complete. Kevin was flexible working with the rain we just got as well. Kevin was very pleasant to talk too and I had a great feeling after meeting him that I immediately knew I was going to use him as his prices are some of the best out there! When I had questions, i would just text his iphone and he would text me right back usually within a few minutes. I absolutely love my floor and would highly recommend that if you are already close to putting a deposit down with somebody else that you at least shoot him a text or phone call and ask to meet him at least. I ordered both an epoxy flooring and cabinets for my garage. As far as I can tell all the work was…read moredone properly and is still there 1.5yrs later. All work was done by 1-4 people depending on what was being done. Complaints? Communication. The initial consultation was straightforward and easy. I picked out the base color, the chip colors, and the date. The first day they came and prepped the surface by sanding and using chemicals. They also filled in any cracks and put down the first epoxy coat. I had to leave to go do something and I came back and they were gone with the garage door cracked open. They didn't leave a note or anything such as - don't step on the floor, must dry for 2 days, or anything like that. I had to call them and ask what was going on and when they were coming back. I thought this was kind of odd seeing as how I would think that if this process was going to take multiple days that I should be privy to that knowledge (maybe in case I couldn't be there other days?). Luckily my schedule allowed me to be there for the subsequent days. Day 2 was a second coat and chips... and then they were gone again. Again, with no instructions or follow-up. WTF?! I had to call back again and figure out when they were coming back for the cabinets. Aside from me feeling like I was completely in the dark about what was going on and when it was going on I feel they did a good job. I would suggest them again permitting they made sure to nail down specific instructions and dates/times for the entire process.
