I have now had 2 epoxy garage floors installed over the past 5 yrs. Kevin who completed my most recent floor provided an excellent floor and service. To start off I measured the floor myself which I highly recommend. My actual square footage was 408, other companies tried telling me 430 & 440!! Then they give you a quote based on that figure. Kevin was eager to earn my business and showed up at the previously agreed upon appt time. He has examples to show you as well. I have a paver driveway and he pointed out that some companies will just acid wash the floor, but that will ruin your paver driveway. Therefore, he decided the best option was to diamond grind it. He can offer custom colors and Since I did not want a full cast of chips he did a medium cast which is harder to do and did not leave any clumps of chips anywhere! It is very balanced. Steps: 1. Acid Wash &/OR Diamond Grind 2. Primer base coat 3. 100% Solid/Solvent Self-Leveling Epoxy 4. Add chips 5. Clear coat My 2 car garage floor took him and his partner 2 days to complete. Kevin was flexible working with the rain we just got as well. Kevin was very pleasant to talk too and I had a great feeling after meeting him that I immediately knew I was going to use him as his prices are some of the best out there! When I had questions, i would just text his iphone and he would text me right back usually within a few minutes. I absolutely love my floor and would highly recommend that if you are already close to putting a deposit down with somebody else that you at least shoot him a text or phone call and ask to meet him at least. I ordered both an epoxy flooring and cabinets for my garage. As far as I can tell all the work was done properly and is still there 1.5yrs later. All work was done by 1-4 people depending on what was being done. Complaints? Communication. The initial consultation was straightforward and easy. I picked out the base color, the chip colors, and the date. The first day they came and prepped the surface by sanding and using chemicals. They also filled in any cracks and put down the first epoxy coat. I had to leave to go do something and I came back and they were gone with the garage door cracked open. They didn't leave a note or anything such as - don't step on the floor, must dry for 2 days, or anything like that. I had to call them and ask what was going on and when they were coming back. I thought this was kind of odd seeing as how I would think that if this process was going to take multiple days that I should be privy to that knowledge (maybe in case I couldn't be there other days?). Luckily my schedule allowed me to be there for the subsequent days. Day 2 was a second coat and chips... and then they were gone again. Again, with no instructions or follow-up. WTF?! I had to call back again and figure out when they were coming back for the cabinets. Aside from me feeling like I was completely in the dark about what was going on and when it was going on I feel they did a good job. I would suggest them again permitting they made sure to nail down specific instructions and dates/times for the entire process. read more

I am so happy!!! I have never had such an awesome man cave. My son says the garage looks like a showroom. New poly floors and cabinets. Keven is a real professional. He almost single handedly knocked everything out in under a week in 110 degree temperatures. He doesn't just posses a great work ethic, but knows just about anything about the whole house. He even offered to paint the garage, which I was thrilled to have him do. And wouldn't you know it; during the work, the hot water heater ruptured, and starts bleeding on the garage floor. Kevin found a way around it and kept moving forward with the work. Also, in a matter of minutes, he had the heater drained an in the front yard! I appreciated it, and so did the plumber that replaced it! Kevin is Professional, Knowledgeable, a great communicator and accurate with the bid. There was nothing that wasn't perfect. I would highly recommend Arizona Garage Solutions. I shopped around and made a few calls prior to calling Kevin at AGS. I asked him for an initial quote over the phone and while others hesitated (or gave the old "well it really depends") Kevin came right out and told me cost per square foot along with cost of cabinets. After the call he came out to take measurements and there were no surprises between the phone rough quote and the actual estimate. Kevin showed up when he said he would and did an amazing job on both the flooring and cabinets. Here is the part that really put them over the top for me. While he was doing the garage I asked him to quote me on hanging a really heavy (150 pound) ladder in above my cabinets and he told me he would just do it for me. After the garage floor was completed along with the amazing cabinets I paid Kevin in full and then realized we forgot the ladder. He came back the next day (after being paid) and installed the ladder hooks for me. To me this is a true sign of a professional. Completing the work (masterfully) even after he had no more money to gain from me. They are honest people, work hard, show up on time and do wonderful work. This review would show no stars but when Kevin Sr. finally contacted me for the first time he was sociable. I called the main office number numerous times and left numerous messages to the point I thought they had closed shop. Just to clarify that this is run by a father and his son team and they are both named Kevin. I finally received a call from Kevin Senior and he seemed very concerned as to what my needs were and how he could help me. He said his son would come out to give me an estimate and I would be hearing from him shortly. I never heard from his son so I called & texted again to see if someone would come out to give me an estimate. Senior texted me back and said he was on his way out and would be there shortly. I had already cleared out the entire garage because i was having the Ceiling textured so it would be a perfect time to see the floor and give me an accurate estimate. Kevin senior arrived and looked at the floor and stated that it would not need to be diamond ground and that a good acid washing was all it needed. He explained that they don't cut corners and only used the finest high solid epoxy unlike a lot of other companies. The typical sales BS but when I asked him about the metallic coating he stated that he hadn't worked with Metallic s before and he only does the solid epoxy coatings???? Senior knew I wanted a Metallic Epoxy so why didn't he send his son out to do the estimate? He said his son was the one that applied the metallic's and he would call me and go over the styles once senior gave me the quote. Senior gave me the quote which I agreed on the price. He went out to his truck and he said he would text me the price for the floor????? Weird. No contract nothing to sign??? After he left I had another question about doing the metallic but applying a marbled effect that I have seen on many other floors. Same product but a combination of two colors that are pored out on the floor in strips and then rolled together. I called him less than 30 minutes after he left and didn't hear anything back from him. I texted and called him a few times and didn't hear back until a day later. He said he had to run it past his son again and that is why he never called back. Again why is his son not calling me directly rather than doing this third party. He said they could do the marbling and then he gave my this outrageous high price. Same material, same square footage same floor same amount of labor with the exception of having to mix up two different kits. I asked again to speak to his son directly so he gave me the number (same number as the office) I wanted to get the details from someone who know how to apply the product. Surprise Surprise Surprise Amazing I never heard back from his son or from Senior. I called and texted many times afterwards and never received a reply. Guess they didn't need the business or they didn't know how to apply the metallic epoxy properly but would not admit it. If its this hard to get a hold of them just imagine what it would be like if you had a problem with the work and needed repair or warranty work. Don't know what their cabinets look like but if this is the way they work and communicate i would stay away!!!!!!!!!!! This would not have a rating but had to put one.I never used them and never will. I had Kevin, part owner come out to give bid and he said will send in a couple of hours. Never received so I texted him and he send a text with pricing. I am ok lets go when can we do? He said I have to look at schedule and will get back with you. Another day, I contact him. He said Wed and this was Monday. I am thinking I have 1 day to get my garage items moved. I am like this Wed? and he said oh thought you were someone else. Next Wednesday. I am like ok. Did not hear anything so Tuesday I call and leave message no response, Text him to confirm for Wed and get time since I would have to leave work to let guys in garage hours later he texted Oh Thursday for sure @ 10. Never told me before hand until I contacted him twice. Then told him I was not happy he never contacted me to tell me the date changed. No response, sorry busy, nothing. I told a couple people the story and they are like stay away if he can not respond to find out schedule what if you have a problem with the cabinets So I texted him and told him due to lack of response I have chosen not to use him. over 3 hours later just text back No problem. That was it. No so sorry or anything. I guess my business was not needed. Just so you know I had no contract at all. Never signed anything.
