They added five-inch screws on our steps, added concrete pedestals for some of the unsupported verticals, did a power-wash, added a primer, gave two coats of oil-based paint, added some supports under the stairs, straightened one of the sloping top steps, and did excellent work, overall. The men were polite, hardworking, and reliable. They took pride in doing a fine job. I wish them all the very best in their future endeavors, and am filled with gratitude that they took care of our stairs. I recommend them wholeheartedly. Peter Duffy's team took over the work that our previous, nightmare-of-a-contractor had started…read more From the start, Peter and his amazing crew, Oliver and Alan, showed up at our house first thing in the morning, and didn't stop until 5pm or later. They accomplished more in one week than our first crew did in 2 months. Peter was truly invested in the project, and it was clear how much he cares for his clients and his crew. Every step in the process was a collaboration: Peter scheduled appointments between us and the electrician, HVAC crew, and plumbers so we could all walk through the house together and talk through what we wanted and what would work. Peter also made suggestions throughout the process that improved the plan and house in ways that never would have occurred to us. At one point, Peter's crew had the idea to move an original built-in cabinet to another wall in order to open up the dining room to the kitchen, and it changed the entire flow of the house in the best way possible. Visitors always scratch their heads in disbelief when we tell them that the built-in was moved - they insist it looks like it has always lived in that corner of the room! Peter uses the best materials for his builds, and the finishing work is outstanding. Oliver is an incredible carpenter, so our new stairs, kitchen casework, trim around the walls and doors, and tile work in each bathroom is absolutely gorgeous. The existing walls in the house were in bad shape after we removed the wallpaper, so Peter's meticulous painting team patched and repaired all of the walls before painting. The walls are now absolutely smooth and look brand new. The few times there were issues, Peter and his crew addressed them immediately - things were corrected by the following day. Our entire project was massive, and Peter coordinated the work of all of the subcontractors seamlessly so there was never a day that no one showed up to work. Peter's prices throughout the project were also reasonable, especially for the quality of work and materials that they included. Our finished home is more beautiful than we could have ever imagined - we are beyond happy and grateful to Peter and his crew. If you've got a project coming up - no matter how big or small - Let Duffy Do It! Check out the attached social media video we made to showcase Peter's work, along with some other pictures of the finished kitchen, bathroom, and basement.

They did an amazing job, went above and beyond what was asked. His crew was very respectful of our property, always cleaned up every single day, and most importantly was respectful in their communication and interaction with us. We had several horrible experiences with contractors previously, so we were so glad to work with a contractor who was kindhearted, honest, knowledgeable, and good at his work. Two months ago we finally pulled the trigger and added a 1/2 bath to our property. We loved working with Peter so much that we worked with him again! Small compact powder room, but it gets the job done. Overall pleased with outcome of every project. Peter was helpful in the process as he had many suggestions, ideas in bringing things together. Pricing was very reasonable compared to the 2-3 other quotes that's I've received from other contractors. I was proactive on my end on communicating exactly what the needs were for my family. Communicated timeline, expectations, and cost so that there were no surprise for the both of us. My husband and I have worked with many different contractors, and it's really difficult to come by someone who is as helpful and honest as Peter!

We consulted with several contractors and ultimately settled on BBC due to the competitive price, references, and availability. We worked with Eduardo and his team throughout the duration of the project. We are very happy with the outcome. The Quote & Final Price. Of those we contacted, BBC took the least amount of time to get us a quote. The quote was also the most detailed of the ones we received. Eduardo included renderings of the island remodel and surrounding space as well as a detailed breakdown of materials and labor. The quoted price was very competitive -- it was among the lowest. BBC completed the project for the quoted price in spite of a few unexpected complications we encountered along the way. Quality of work. We are extremely happy with the quality of the work performed. We were very up front about certain key requirements going into the project and Eduardo did a very good job making sure to adhere to them. For example, we wanted to make sure the island cabinetry matched our older, discontinued, cabinetry. Eduardo was able to match our own cabinets very closely without impacting the price. We also had a number of other very specific requirements regarding cabinetry arrangement and Eduardo stuck to it perfectly. We got what we asked for. Communication and experience. Eduardo and his crew kept the dialogue going throughout the project. We spoke regularly via telephone, email, and text message. They listened to our questions and concerns along the way and made adjustments based on our input. They were very good at explaining when certain things made sense and when they didn't. Eduardo and his team were not afraid to speak up when they thought their input would lead to a better result. For example, Eduardo and one of his team members (Daniel) had some suggestions about how to cut the granite to wrap around some steam pipes adjacent to the island. This resulted in a much better finished appearance and the additional cost was negligible. We are glad we listened to their suggestions as the final result is better than we had expected. We had a great experience with BBC and would use them again. We recommend them for anyone considering any type of project for their home.

He handled a large kitchen renovation for us that involved the design itself, taking down a load-bearing wall, replacing a wooden floor, moving a steam pipe, moving ductwork, adding light fixtures, running new electrical & plumbing, installing cabinetry, and painting & finishing. I think a big value add, and justification for his rate, is that he is a one-stop shop. He has a closely-knit team of trusted partners, and that contributes to the consistent quality and speed of work.
