Great company, highly recommended. When I broke the key to my Yakima roof box in LA, a locksmith up there charged me $200 to pick just one of the two locks open. When I got back here to SD, I stopped by Joey's location on the Clairemont Mesa at the corner of Genessee and Derrick to pick open the other one so I could replace both lock cylinders. Instead, Enrique there made a new key from scratch, gave me three duplicates and fixed the cylinder that the LA locksmith broke, all in about 30 min. I was charged about $65 which was cheaper than going through Yakima to get new locks and keys. Great service and I'll be using these guys in the future if needed. read more

I wanted to write a review for Joey's Locksmith based on the information they have given me. I never actually used them as a service however I was looking for a locksmith for my home because there was an issue with my door handle set. I called Joey's locksmith and explained the door issue and he immediately texted me to text him the pictures of my door lock. Come to find out it was easier/cheaper for me to replace the handle set vs them coming out and fixing it.
