Had to get a new key done for my son's girlfriend's Chevy Tahoe. Larry came out and in an hour he fixed it up and then some. This guy is awesome and reasonably priced. If you need a "Guy", this is the one. read more

I highly recommend Block's Locks, not only was the service super fast (under 30 mins); I was making a spare key for my car. I had a great personable experience. Larry was very kind and ensured my keys were in working order not only for the fob but also for the keyhole; he gave me great tips and tricks for my keys. I would definitely get another key made by Larry if I ever need it! Thank you Larry!! read more

Great service, fast response, great communication. Definitely recommend and would use again if needed.

After breaking my keys. I went to my closest dealership and the price to replace the keys was way to high. One of the workers recommended me this place. I called and with in a day they drove to my house and fixed my keys fast and for half the price. It's been about 2 months and no problems at all. You won't regret calling and having them fix your issue. read more

My #2 monster locked our bedroom door; thankfully he was not in the room. I called around and found Locks Block's to be the lowest in price. He (David) said he would arrive in less than 30mins (IB to CV) and would unlock the bedroom door and even give me a key (awesome since we never had a key to start with). I was at work and David said he would do the work and call me after to run the card over the phone. No other place would start the work until I paid them. I understand "pay first", however having to wait until the office opens to fax me a form isn't awesome. David was happy to take my payment over the phone and I will keep his number in my contacts from now on. If I ever need another locksmith won't need to call around! Chances of me calling on David again based on my monsters and their door locking habits!! 100% How awesome is this - he's in IB, always support the local business!! read more

Larry is the best! Awesome personality, shared a ton of jokes, and solved my key issue for my car extremely fast. His pricing was much more reasonable than the dealerships I had visited. If me or anyone I know ever has any issues with keys, I know to call Larry immediately! Highly recommend! read more

I have used these guys at various times over the last six years and they have always been honest, fast and reliable. A neighbor recommended them to me for a lost car key and I found them to be slightly less expensive then other locksmiths and a LOT less expensive then the dealer. They showed up right away, fixed my problem, and didn't try to hassle me on the price either. I used them again this summer for an elderly family friend who had lost the keys to his car and was getting ticketed for not moving it. Block's Locks showed up four hours sooner than anyone else claimed they could make it (my friend had already tried calling around from the phone book) and did it for two-thirds the cost. They are honest and run a solid business---they have my highest recommendation! read more

I lost the key to my 2000 Convertible Mustang at the end of my day and Locks Block's stayed late to help me. Locks Block's was professional and personable. It's rare to find a company that actually cares about the customer, but I found that in Larry. Locks Block's was not only fair, generous but understanding. If you see Larry, give him a hug for me. I lost the only key to my Toyota Tundra. This guy made me two new keys for my truck for a little more than half of what Toyota wanted to charge for one, and I didn't even have to leave my house. Quick and friendly service at a good price. I couldn't be happier. If you lost your car key and need a new one do not go to the dealership. Call these guys. read more

We recently lost the key to our '99 Mustang. The Dealership referred us to Locks Block's and I was very impressed by Larry's prompt and courteous service. He made me 2 replacement keys and a gave me a remote (which we had not had in years) for exactly what he told me it would cost. He was a huge help for my family, and I will trust NO ONE else with my lock-related business. Thanks for taking such great care of your customers! read more

My Go To Guy!! This man is not only incredible he was a lifesaver! I called him in the morning. He was booked, but, said he would call me before he came and would fit me in. On that day I received the call at 3:30. Larry told me he would be there within 20 to 30 minutes, he was there within that amount of time. He replace the ignition in my car for what he had quoted me on the phone which was significantly less expensive than the other quotes I had received. I received two coded keys, plus an extra key to my car door for half of what the dealership would have charged me . Not only was he professional, on time, he is a very kind man. I would recommend this man to anyone and have recommended him to all. read more

Called Larry on a Sunday afternoon and he dropped whatever he was doing and came right out within 20 minutes. Re-keyed our front door for a very reasonable price, told a few jokes while he was working, and was on his way after changing the lock and cutting six new keys. I highly recommend. read more

My friend doesn't use Yelp so I will leave a review on her behalf. My good friend had an ignition lock problem on her 2004 Chevy Malibu and I had her call Larry. He sent Dave out to her work and fix the ignition problem for $200 LESS than all the other places were trying to charge her. I told her that Block's Locks sets themselves apart from the rest and was extremely satisfied with her new working ignition lock. no more leaving the key in the ignition and unplugging the battery cable. Thank you very much, guys for all that you do!! read more

Wow, what a jerk...I can't review the services, I didn't get that far because this guy was so rude and unprofessional on the phone. Maybe I caught him on an off day, or maybe the other reviews are people he knows... Call someone else. read more

Awesome service! I have 98 Cadillac Eldorado I lost the door/trunk key too. And no spare. First I went to the dealer and got a new key cut based on the Vin but that key turned out not to work and the dealer wanted to charge $202 per lock to recode the locks on my car. Block's locks was able to make me a new key that works based off the code for my vehicle. The service was fast, the price was reasonable, and the guy is fair. I highly recommend them if you need a new key or get locked out. read more

I may or may not have a bad habit of locking my keys in my car, I have used blocks locks twice and I couldnt be happier with the service I receive. The price can't be beat, even with microchip keys. I refer them to anyone anytime there is someone who needs a locksmith service. read more

Im not sure if I'm leaving this review for the right company but i hope so! We're visiting SD from NorCal and sadly lost our keys in a Home Depot parking lot :( after calling ford dealer they directed me to a gentleman named Larry. He was quick to meet us at home depot and make us a replacement key. $150 for key but considering we had no other choice it was worth it. Larry was great, friendly & efficient! read more

These guys came fast! Quick, easy, good price and professional. Tony is a cool guy. No complaints.

I would definitely recommend. The excellent customer service, quick and quality work I received was exactly what I needed in my busy schedule so I can get on with my day. I will always use this company for all my lock smith needs. Very knowledgable employees. read more

Our kids's minivan had been having ignition key issues that finally caught up to them. The key wouldn't turn and they had to leave the van overnight at a gas station pump. Fortunately it wasn't vandalized. I got a referral from a trusted mechanic to call Blocks Locks. Larry was there within the promised time and quickly replaced the ignition key lock cylinder, good as new. The only issue is that he may have priced the cylinder mechanism just a bit on the high side, but it was worth the cost considering the predicament we were in. I would recommend this company in a heartbeat. Larry is very knowledgeable, friendly, and you can tell he loves what he does. Thanks! read more

Fast and reliable. Did exactly what was promised. Came on time and worked very quickly. I missed telling him about one lock and charged me very reasonable amount. I liked the nondescript van. No need to broadcast to neighborhood your having your locks changed or rekeyed. Would highly recommend. read more

Called another company who said they would be here in 15 min & charge $15 for coming out - then they would tell me how much they would charge to get me into my house. 50 minutes & 3 phone calls later I cancelled them & called Locks Blocks. He said he'd be here in 10 to 15 min & gave me a fair quote over the phone. Arrived in 10 min & had me in my house in 5 min. Very nice, honest & professional. I will most definitely call them if ever I need help w/ a lock out! Highly recommend! read more

Service and cost can not be beat. I needed an electronic key from the dealer who wanted $500 for the key, Blocks was able to do it for less than $350. Larry went to the dealership, picked up the right sort of key, and met me where my car was parked immediately. He was great to work with, fair, and took care of exactly what I needed. Great experience all around. read more

Love him! He is the main person we use at our dealership and can make a key for anything, Just today he made me a special key for a key cabinet I bought. Always a pleasure to work with and very nice :) read more

What can I say, the service I got was just great! Got my only car key stolen and the Ford dealer referred me to Block's Locks. Gave them a call and was greeted by Larry. It didn't take too long before he got to where I was and immediately got to work. Literally took about 8-10 mins until I got a key made. It cost me $140 for the key which was pretty good. Larry was really cool so I gave him a small tip. Then he gave me the key he used to unlock my car free of charge! What a cool guy! read more
