    Spaghetti Bolognese

Overall my trip to Joey's was pretty good. The food was all pretty good, the garlic knots had a good amount of sauce and tons of flavor, the mozzarella sticks had a crunchy outside and a pleasant cheese inside, and the spaghetti bolognese had a decent amount of flavor with a pretty good meat sauce. The service was pretty solid, our waiter was very nice and even had a laugh with us. The atmosphere of the place was also pretty good, having some nice decor and everyone was quiet. If you were to ask me to come here again I would. 4/5 pretty nice place.

Love this place , it has ambiance, in the summer they have a patio, good food and drinks everyone is happy and friendly. Parking is good ,there is a wait to get in but it is worth it

Atmosphere - Very nice. The restaurant has a family/home style feel. There are two large rooms indoors and a large patio dining area with a couple of bocce courts. There are booths and table seating options inside. Service - Excellent. Our server (Trista) was very pleasant and attentive. We never had to ask for anything. Food - Excellent. The menu has lots of options. I had the linguine with marinara sauce with meatballs and sausage (a slight up charge of the second protein). The entree came with garlic knots and a side salad. I'm sure that the knots are very popular, but I would have been much happier with garlic bread or a roll. The side salad was ample and fresh. The marinara sauce was absolutely delicious as were the meatballs. The sausage was cut in slices and were a hot sausage. Overall Value - Excellent! The entree was huge and the price extremely reasonable. You can not go wrong.

    Chicken broccoli Alfredo

Just popped in for a nice dinner and when we got the food, I saw that there was a full plate of spaghetti that could feed about 7 people. There was not very much broccoli or chicken that came on top of the meal. Me and my family are not very good at leftovers and still could not finish it and had to pay $16 for a couple bites.

Great locally owned restaurant near home! Every time my parents and I come here, we always leave happy and full. Food and service are top notch. The restaurant area has two dining areas and a spacious bar area. At the other end of the location is take out for pizza (longo's) under the same ownership and the regular menu. You can tell the food is homemade. It's divine. My chicken Madison has so much flavor with the Parmesan herb crusted chicken, cheese, and mushrooms. Penne pasta nice and tender. Their side salads are huge! I usually fill up on this and their yummy garlic knot rolls before I get my entree. I know that they have entertainment on some nights, I'm assuming in the bar area. I have not been present during so I cannot comment on that. The restaurant has a nice classy vibe but no need to dress up. Come as you are! Highly recommend! Support local!

Happy hour Long Island ice tea.

My hubby and I went here for the first time ever, for our anniversary on Halloween. We arrived right in time for happy hour and sat in the cozy back bar area with the raging fireplace. Ashley G. was our server and she was sweet, thorough and prompt. I started out with the happy hour Long Island ice tea, which was made fresh and stiff, not from a mix like most places do. Next we had the caprese salad as an appetizer along with the Cajun grouper bites. Both were excellent. A nice sized side salad and garlic knot rolls arrived shortly after. (the garlic knots are frigging awesome!) For our main course we had the eggplant Parmesan and the Joey's trio. Both were fresh and very authentic tasting. We had to have dessert, of course! The tiramisu was exceptional and the cannoli was great, but I've had better cannoli. Maybe that's the cannoli snob in me talking. Either way, we will absolutely be going back to Joey's!

I had a table in the corner and got settled in with a book and ordered a Hugo Spritz. The cocktail was refreshing and light, and I really enjoyed it. I decided on a Cesar Salad, nothing too special there, but it was a generous size and fresh greens. I ordered a bowl of mussles, again, generous sized portion, and I liked that they had 2 preparations - garlic and white wine (always a good choice) or Diablo, and I went with the spicy tomato! The sauce was great, kind of spicy, with good crusty bread to dunk. The mussels themselves were OK, not the best quality seafood I've ever had, but still a nice dinner. And I also had the fried ravioli, which I cannot resist, ever, and dunked it in the spicy sauce. The house bread was a really nice foicaccia, with a confit garlic and butter to smear all over it. Really great. The service was excellent! She was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and also great at timing, kind of letting me hang out and enjoy my dinner. I'd probably go back to try some other fun menu items, and their chocolate and cocktail (and chocolate cocktail) menu is intriguing.

Everyone in the restaurant was smiling and having a very good time. The staff was all very friendly and welcoming. Our food was tasty and piping hot. The portions were generous and in fact I had to take home half of my meal, which was the pasta Mille, with sausage and chicken. I got the linguine. We also made room for dessert, trying the tiramisu and the cannoli. The tiramisu is very light and creamy. The cannoli was the right balance of creamy sweet and crunchy. Both desserts were delicious, and a perfect ending to a very nice meal.

Considering the size of the place I find it hard to believe that they have the capabilities nor the room to make any homemade pasta there, unless it made offsite. Second - no bread or water is complimentary, you read that right, you have to pay for water and bread if you would like it with you meal. No drinks are complimentary. When we said we would split a water the waitress gave us a very nasty look. A very small glass (maybe 3 ounce) of local Geneva wine was $10. Third - the prices are exorbitant. $28 for chicken parmesan.$20 for fettuccini (if you want chicken chunks of chicken, not a whole breast)) with it it is another $9.) Spaghetti is $18, but if you want 2 meatballs it is another $8, that is correct $4 for one meatball and you cannot order one, you MUST buy 2. dinners do, however, come with a small salad. Fourth - cleanliness is not a priority here. Not the cleanest tables nor floor, and do NOT go to the restroom and see what is behind the curtain....oh my god! one restroom, with 2 stalls....one stall labeled for men, and one stall labeled for women....you read that correctly also...one room, 2 toilets.......my my my. The place is extremely over-crowded, the couple next to us were less than 3 feet away. Finally - the food was good, but not THAT good: for 2 meals with one water and one glass of wine + tip it was $77.....needless to say we will never go back, much cleaner and better places to eat in GOTL for a lot less money that are just as good, if nor better.....and, i do not know how it is legal, they add a 3.5 % surcharge to your bill for eating in the place and not getting your food to go.
