    Fish tacos.

Lunch. Last day in Boston before heading to Logan. This place is the epitome of casual dining. It's Applebees/Olive Garden with seafood. Even came with a slightly sticky table. Service was pretty good. Drinks are mediocre and overpriced. Food - Not the "best" fish & chips but pretty good. Not the "best" lobster roll but good. Not the "best" clam chowder but good enough. The fish tacos were surprisingly the best menu item we tried.

Best part is service! Our server was super friendly, attentive, and kind. Got the fish tacos! They had a good amount of sauce and were decently filling. Interior is dark warm and classy

The waitstaff were phenomenal and a completely delight. The food was even better than I had imagined and the bread that is served as "while you wait" is delicious! Went for brunch during the summer and it was a beautiful site to see both in and out of the restaurant. If you plan on sitting outside during the summer arrive early or make a reservation. There is a very long wait if you do not.

We had a great time with family celebrating, delicious food, spectacular views! The Crab dip was my favorite. Several ordered the salmon and enjoyed it. The captain's platter was a hit as was the clam chowder. We also ordered a Reuben sandwich and Shrimp Scampi & Linguine. It was slammed the afternoon we visited, ran out of bread, but we had good service and enjoyed the time together.

First I ordered the crab cocktail. It was very good, but seemed a little skimpy for the price ($22, I think). Next up were the Parmesan truffle fries. I loved that I could smell the truffle right away. I hate it when I order truffle fries and can't detect the truffle. These were great on truffle, but weak on Parmesan and also just barely still warm when they were brought out. But still, I thought this would be a 5-star review until the service dropped way off. For almost a half hour my drink was empty and I was wanting to order one more. The server checked in twice in that time on a table near me, but didn't even glance in my direction. I would still come back again for sure. The food was good, and the outdoor patio was nice. But there was some definite room for improvement.

If you're coming to Joe's, it's gotta be for the views! It's located in an awesome spot, right on the edge of the North End, just along the water. There's nothing better on a nice day. They do have plenty of indoor seating as well. I found the service to be fairly standard. My friends and I enjoyed our meals. The food was solid for American cuisine, but nothing out of this world. It's one of those standard spots that has something for everyone. I enjoyed my Baby Back Ribs and was quite full when I left. No complaints from me!

Dinner at Joe's Waterfront Fresh seafood, quick attentive service, and an amazing view of the harbor--perfect spot to unwind!

Stopped in for lunch while we waited for our hotel room to be ready. Our server was really nice and upbeat. Restaurants has a nice vibe! We ordered the steak bowl and the tuna poke bowl. We enjoyed both! The online menu showed some more GF options than the lunch menu. Would be cool if items like the buffalo chicken dip and the spinach artichoke dip could be made GF.

I really liked this place. It's on the water with a view of the harbor. Service was awesome. Our waiter was so cute and made great recommendations. I enjoyed the clam chowder and lobster roll - it had a LOT of lobster. I'd do it again!

Beautiful spot, never full. Food feels like of a decent hotel. Had the chicken BLT sandwich with fries - I wish there was more avocado and the bread could have been more fresh, but overall it was great with a generous portion of chicken in it. Fries were great too :)

Came to this restaurant in the afternoon on Sunday and it was wonderful. We brought both of our kids ages four and 15 months and the atmosphere was great, service was excellent, and the food was amazing. The kids loved it that they got free ice cream at the end too. Family friend, awesome food. Will come back!

After passing this restaurant for years, I finally went it. Amazing water views! The menu has ample starter and entree choices, varying from the normal seafood choices (but, yes, there is clam chowder as well as other seafood choices). I did opt for a cup of clam chowder - super rich and thick - lots of bacon, potatoes, and clams. That hit at a solid 8. I had the steak bowl, which consists of steak tips, jasmine rice, diced tomatoes, greens, and avocado slices. A really good dish, but it had something akin to a sushi taste - I could taste something fishy (pun intended), but I could not figure out what it was. Still, super good! The steak was beyond tender, and it is enough to feed two smaller people (meaning it was a large portion for me). That dish was a solid 9. I saw another table order chocolate cake and ice cream, and it was decadent, and I only wish I was not so full from dinner, because it looked simply stunning! Some time in the future, I will be back simply to taste that cake! A great dinner in a pretty ambiance and great service!!!!

I'm a big fan of lychee martinis, but felt theirs was too sweet for me. I ordered the Caesar salad and a cup of clam chowder. The bread that came with the salad was slightly burnt. My wife and I both had the chipotle mango chicken, while the table also tried the short ribs and blackened mahi mahi. All the dishes were very good, but the chipotle mango chicken really stood out. Huge portion and packed with flavor without being overdone. We also shared the spicy tuna roll and guacamole appetizer, both of which were solid starters. Between my tree nut allergy, Alpha-Gal, diabetes, and my wife's gluten allergy and dairy sensitivity, we usually give restaurants a decent stress test. Staff handled questions well, were patient with modifications, and made the process feel easy rather than inconvenient. Service was a little slow at times, though the restaurant was extremely busy, so hard to know if it was the kitchen or our server. Either way, the staff was very kind, personable, and attentive when they were at the table. Atmosphere is energetic and lively, though definitely on the louder side. Great spot for dates, including first dates, and perfectly fine for casual business meals. Probably not ideal if you're trying to have a serious conversation or intimate dinner because of the noise level. Also not somewhere I'd recommend for small kids unless they enjoy competing with the soundtrack and neighboring tables for attention. Overall, a fun Seaport spot with good food, big portions, and a vibrant atmosphere.

It was a Sunday night and we didn't feel like going far for a meal. That's when we put the voucher to use as the Capiz is in the lobby of the hotel. We went for an early dinner. Walking into the restaurant, no one was there to greet us and there was no host stand. Finally, a server (who also turned out to be our server) told us to pick where we wanted to sit. We chose a four-top table. When it was time to order, we were dealing with a limited menu. I chose lobster quesadillas, which were listed under "appetizers". My husband chose the fish and chips. The quesadilla was sloppily made. Some pieces had hardly any cheese or lobster in them. Other pieces were overloaded with lobster and cheese. While it was all edible and the lobster was properly cooked, it still was underwhelming. My husband said the fish was well prepared, flaky and crispy at the same time. There were too many French fries, making the plate a bit messy. In a pinch, Capiz did fit the bill as we didn't feel like going far for a meal that day.
