I also saw the exchanges between the instructor/ owner Mr David and some of his detractors. I decided to make my review as objective as can be and went to his office to see for myself and decide if I will let him take care of my 15 1/2 year-old daughter behind- the - wheel training as per DMV requirements. Firstly, I find Mr David straight-forward, conscientious, accommodating, a no-frills instructor who really cares for his students. Some may find him gruff or rough on the edges when he frankly asks for the height and weight as a pre-requisite for admission to his driving school. He is not "rude" or "body- shaming " as some would claim. He was just making sure that the student would fit in his compact student driver car which is laden with an extra accelerator and brake pedals so that he has complete control of the vehicle when he teaches and this is quite evident of his desire for the student's total safety. Secondly he asks for the student's physical and mental state and refuses blatantly anybody who could possibly endanger himself or others based on the interview and history that the parents would provide or initially not disclose. He was quite thorough with his application and very adamant about the student's punctuality. Based on these, I allowed him to have my daughter under his training and tutelage. True enough after the 6- hour training, pleasant goofiness ( yes, he can be very funny) and his almost seeming parental guidance, my daughter passed and learned the required phase of her training. Of course, mind you, the rest of her 50- hour training still lies on our shoulders as parents or guardians . So I still feel that the unfair comments made by some are not really warranted. As a matter of fact, I will register my second child as soon as he reaches the required age requirement. This, I will recommend him to be the instructor of your child hands down anytime.

To which, the owner was unhelpful, and did not answer any of my questions. Next, he proceeded to skip over everything I just said and ask about my age and asked me to bring a birth certificate. Throughout the 1-minute call, he sounded impatient and unhelpful, and I got none of my questions answered, so I said my thank you and hung up the call. After I posted my google review, the owner responded publicly with my personal phone number and statements about my alleged medical and mental-health history. I never told him that I had severe anxiety, a medical condition, or that I had been released from a mental institution, and none of those statements are true anyway. Our phone call lasted 1 minute I'm surprised he got so much out of that. I called for a driving lesson, not a therapist lol. Anyways save your money and time. There's so many other driving schools in the area, i would not recommend them at all

New Prudential is great with communication via text whenever there was a scheduling conflict and we needed to reschedule. Knowing that my son was eligible for taking his test, they told me when to schedule his driving test with the Pomona DMV and then scheduled his classes so that they were closer to his appointment date and things would be fresh in his mind. They were also great with providing my son with tips for when taking the driving test. My son said he liked his instructor Guillermo. He even had my son drive on the freeway for a bit during his second lesson. My kid passed his driving test on his first try. Thanks New Prudential!

She also helped my son become more independent with eating, which was something he really needed encouragement in. When I once asked my son if there was any teacher he liked the least, his answer was, "no," which says it all!) Last but certainly not least, Ms. Virgine is an incredible director. My son was both a Covid baby (super shy) and a preemie, so I had extra concerns as a first-time mom. One of the main reasons I chose LPG was the smaller class sizes, so he wouldn't be overwhelmed. The whole center was so happy and excited for her but missed her dearly at the same time! You can always see Missy or the teachers talking to parents during drop-off and pickup not because they try to earn 5-star reviews from parents, they are just very caring and dedicated to their work!
