A 3.5 review. She spent some time talking to me about her great yelp reviews. I don't really get what that was about? Bragging? If you look at the driving schools in the area all of them have a high rating on yelp. Her business doesn't have a physical address or I would have also left a review on Google. She likes to take pictures of her students and post them online. Much too chatty for my taste and that was a bit distracting. On the first lesson she shows you a picture of a crushed car in her phone. Learning with her I developed the habit to yell constantly "Check for bikes!" or tap the window when riding shotgun as a passenger. read more

This is by far the best driving school I have taken, as I failed my first behind the wheel exam after trying two other schools. Lucy is very calm and knowledgeable when it comes to each lesson, as she will make sure you understand all the rules of the road before moving on to another maneuver. As opposed to other instructors who simply have you drive without teaching much, Lucy will try to make you learn the most in the least amount of time possible. First of all let's talk about the driving instructor. She is very kind and positive. She is extremely eager to see her students succeed. She takes the time to understand her students on a technical and personal level. Technical meaning: analyzing what kind of driver you are, analyzing your strengths and weaknesses, and adjusting each lesson to fit your needs. Personal meaning: She will get to know who you are if your the type to open up and talk about yourself. She will tell you about herself if your open to listen. By the end of my teaching I was extremely confident, and nervous to take the test, she felt like my mother/ close friend sending me off on my way hoping and praying for success. Who would have known that I would get 100 percent with a "hard instructor," and his only comment was "very good." Pay attention to every detail this woman says, she wouldn't give a certain instruction for no reason. Fixing one bad habit can improve your driving technique, confidence and safety. She is very attentive, and notices everything you do wrong, and right and what you can improve on. She helps you to develop good driving habits by doing things over until perfect and until your confident enough to move on. She also informs you on why it's important to do each step so you know what your doing. In the beginning before I met Lucy, I was uncertain about my success I was skeptical, I thought at least I would have to take the driving test twice in order to pass, I thought that I wasn't good enough. But this woman is the key to success. I purchased 10 hours, I spread my hours out over the course of the month. It was about ever week. I would practice with family, as much as possible, but I couldn't really rely on my family to use their car it was very occasional that I did. My last 2 hours were spent with Lucy on the day of my test before I took the test. Lucy was someone I could rely on and her teaching is a good investment to ensure positive results. I was over 18 so only paid Going into learning how to drive I was really nervous and felt anxiety towards driving. I didn't know what to expect and I didn't know how to ever feel comfortable driving on the main streets. After having only 3 two hour classes with her I felt confident to be on the main streets.
