At first I was surprised with some of the negative reviews I saw here in Yelp but was amazed at the nearly perfect reviews from Google. I also saw the exchanges between the instructor/ owner Mr David and some of his detractors. I decided to make my review as objective as can be and went to his office to see for myself and decide if I will let him take care of my 15 1/2 year-old daughter behind- the - wheel training as per DMV requirements. Firstly, I find Mr David straight-forward, conscientious, accommodating, a no-frills instructor who really cares for his students. Some may find him gruff or rough on the edges when he frankly asks for the height and weight as a pre-requisite for admission to his driving school. He is not "rude" or "body- shaming " as some would claim. He was just making sure that the student would fit in his compact student driver car which is laden with an extra accelerator and brake pedals so that he has complete control of the vehicle when he teaches and this is quite evident of his desire for the student's total safety. Secondly he asks for the student's physical and mental state and refuses blatantly anybody who could possibly endanger himself or others based on the interview and history that the parents would provide or initially not disclose. He was quite thorough with his application and very adamant about the student's punctuality. Based on these, I allowed him to have my daughter under his training and tutelage. True enough after the 6- hour training, pleasant goofiness ( yes, he can be very funny) and his almost seeming parental guidance, my daughter passed and learned the required phase of her training. Of course, mind you, the rest of her 50- hour training still lies on our shoulders as parents or guardians . So I still feel that the unfair comments made by some are not really warranted. As a matter of fact, I will register my second child as soon as he reaches the required age requirement. This, I will recommend him to be the instructor of your child hands down anytime. read more

I left a review on Google and felt compelled to leave one on Yelp too. After seeing the high reviews on Google, I made a call to Beep Beep driving school on 8/9 at 4:09pm, in which I inquired about whether they serviced my area (requiring pickup/drop off services) and if they offered any single 2-Hr behind the wheel classes. To which, the owner was unhelpful, and did not answer any of my questions. Next, he proceeded to skip over everything I just said and ask about my age and asked me to bring a birth certificate. Throughout the 1-minute call, he sounded impatient and unhelpful, and I got none of my questions answered, so I said my thank you and hung up the call. After I posted my google review, the owner responded publicly with my personal phone number and statements about my alleged medical and mental-health history. I never told him that I had severe anxiety, a medical condition, or that I had been released from a mental institution, and none of those statements are true anyway. Our phone call lasted 1 minute I'm surprised he got so much out of that. I called for a driving lesson, not a therapist lol. Anyways save your money and time. I called to inquire about pricing for driving lessons, and during the conversation I was told, "my car is small, you have to be skinny." I found this comment inappropriate and unprofessional. Regardless, my daughter is very slim, but comments about someone's size should not be part of a customer interaction. Great teacher to to have your kids learn how to drive. In fact, I liked it so much that it's my 2nd time with my 2nd kid. The rules are explained to you as a parent from the day you sign up. This is to avoid any misunderstandings and to meet required expectations. Great value and quality instructions. I feel confident that my child will pass their DMV test the first time. I called twice and a gentleman answered. He was polite and answered all my questions. At the when I completed the exam, I noticed I entered my drivers license incorrectly. He was able to assist me and made the necessary corrections. What I loved about this program someone actually answered. read more

Driving school Beep Beep refused to have my daughter as a customer because the owner said she was over 170 lbs! He said, 'he wouldn't be able to overtake the steering wheel' if something happened, claiming "it's the law" of not having people over a certain weight in his little driving car, BUT that he could teach her in our car. Do not go to this place. He lied and discriminated against my daughter's weight, even having the audacity asking her how much she weighed! Very saddened and disappointed! Also, I had to hire another company for 6 more hours as Beep Beep did not complete the lessons for my daughter. Would give no stars if I could ... the owner is a very angry man and rude .... Originally I booked and paid in full over the phone (never actually seeing a contract that's on me to trust a local business) a few days before the first lesson my teen got a job I called and explained I just needed to move the dates completely understanding that it would be based on what they had available... not asking to cancel just reschedule... the owner David said I would be charged a $75.00 no show fee each day ... I explained again I wasn't a no show just a reschedule ... I explained that was never stated when making the booking with his secretary .. again he was rude and informed me she no longer works there (no kidding) I should have just cut ties at that point but we needed the lessons... after rescheduling David continued to text regarding scheduling days always having the wrong dates and after the last mix up on his end that was it for me because again he was as trying to charge me money for missing lessons that never took place ... after arguing and telling him I no longer required his services and I would and he intern told me he didn't want a customer like me I received a text message from him telling me that I was correct and did I still want services what a joke take your business someplace else. They are completely unorganized and obviously have no idea how to run a business. read more

David, in your description, you lied about being compassionate and patient and professional. Seeing how you have reacted to my wife's comment the way you have shows you are not professional. Noah said that the car pulling out was nowhere near hitting you guys, and yet you choose to honk. I explained that yes you do need to honk to let the other guy know you are there. And then you proceeded to say Noah has severe anxiety? Well, according to the other reviews, how is it that everyone that has a problem with you always seems to have some medical condition?? You see, anyone that has never driven before has to learn to start driving at some point and may infact find it intimidating. I thought someone with the experience you have would know this? I was interested into having classes here since I live close to it, when I arrived, no one was there. I thought he went on break, but I guess he was teaching another student. The reason why I never got this class was because when I called him, he gave me attitude and I didn't feel like he would be a good instructor since he sounded so harsh and judgmental. I was nice and calm in the call, but he was talking in a mean way, which made me look for another driving school. I do suggest to have another coworker to work with him instead so it can become more organized and have people get information in person about appointments and when things are available instead of just having people waiting outside with a locked door without any sign of saying "I'm coming back soon" or anything where I know where the person who works there is. After I hung up the call, I checked in these reviews and they were not lying that he is rude because he is. The way he puts fire on top of fire in the comments makes it very unprofessional since it makes it look like he is very offended. Even if there are bad comments and reviews, it shouldn't give you the right to make it worse and comment worse to people who review here. Was taught (after not attempting before) to drive in 3 days. Learned how to drive, turn, merge, switch lanes, and reverse.

Do NOT go to this place! The driving instructor is probably the rudest person I've ever came across... he was unprofessional from the start and once I started questioning signing up for classes (bc of his behavior) he started laughing at me and being sarcastic. I highly recommend you bring your son/daughter here. David is extremely patient, knowledgeable, professional and he knows how to communicate with kids perfectly. My daughter felt extremely comfortable with David. That was one thing I was worried about...just like any parent would be. But after the first class, my daughter and I were extremely happy. I was able to ride with her and even being in the car listening to what David was telling her, he made me think about how my driving was. He said "drive everyday like it's a test." My daughter was so proud of herself and wanted me to join her on the third ride, just to show me how good she had been doing.
