I found Sarah's Driving & Traffic School online. They are conveniently located in Upland. I gave them a call to find out more information. I spoke with Sarah, the owner. Very pleasant and nice lady. She was professional, informative, and answered all my questions. Thank you Sarah! After speaking with Sarah, I was comfortable in booking 3x sessions 2 hrs per session for a total of 6 hours of driving school instructions for my daughter. Booking and payment were made easy online. The purchase is good for one year from the date of purchase. When you're ready for the 1st session, just call or text them to schedule it. They are open from Monday through Friday. Even though their business office is closed on the weekends, their driving instructors are available to teach on the weekends which is perfect for us. Driving instructor, Monica, was excellent and amazing! She was very friendly and provided clear feedback on my daughter's driving. Thank you Monica! Appointment reminders and after driving lesson follow-up were made timely. My daughter has now completed her 6 hours. She's not quite ready to take her driving test, but she feels a whole lot more confident with her driving. As most people…read moreare when first getting into driving, it's incredibly anxiety-inducing when you're put behind the wheel. The instructor I had, Bryan (I apologize if I misremembered your name--it's been a while), was charismatic, kind, and had the utmost patience. I can attribute all my fears being alleviated solely because of him. He was strict, but fair, believing in me throughout the entire course (even when I almost got us into a crash during my initial exposure to driving on a busy street. Sorry for that, lol). Every mistake I made, he was sure to correct it in order to ensure my success within the very next lesson. Bryan had made the entire learning process enjoyable, but also directly improving my self-confidence and utilization of techniques when on the road. Especially when compared to the recklessness that currently plagues SoCal drivers, i pride myself on being responsible and safe when operating any vehicle. Which led me to question, "Why are the reviews for this school so low?" I don't know if there are multiple instructors, however, I can attest that Bryan is nothing like the negative comments make him out to be. Though, these harsh criticisms seem to only come from more than a decade ago--so I reason things have changed. Regardless, I do have one nitpick. It's the DMV this school recommends you to take your tests at: El Monte. I won't name anyone in particular, but there is a specific proctor who you never want to get. There are anecdotes, forums, and a whole petition to remove them from their position. This is due to their overly condescending attitude, plus the (almost) guarantee that you will fail under their grading. Once I got another examiner, I was given a much more accurate analysis that I passed. If I were given a chance to restart all my progress, I would not risk touching this DMV with a 1 mile pole. Anywhere else (except Pasadena) would be better. Nevertheless, Atlantic Driving School cannot control who you get--which is why I didn't take a star off. Please, for your own sake, just don't go to El Monte. 5 Star Driving School - Thank you, Bryan, for all the work you have done for me. God bless.

Dynasty makes it easy for people to get their commercial driver's license. They have one bus and a…read morefleet of trucks with several types of trailers. The instruction is fairly flexible to one's own schedule and availability. I think I paid about $950 for a bus CDL. The price seemed reasonable. The instructors seem experienced. The main instructor is Jimmy (don't know if he's an owner), an angry and overstressed Chinese man. No doubt about it, Jimmy knows his business well. However, if you make a mistake, expect him to shout and get angry at you. The first week I began my training the bus was not available so I was told to just memorize the air brake and pre-trip. The third day the bus was available and Jimmy rushed me on the bus and showed me the pre-trip. The next day the bus was not available so Jimmy had me sit in a truck and practice the air brakes after just 10 minutes of instruction. 30 minutes later another instructor came and told me to get out of the truck so another student could practice docking. I was placed in another truck with manual transmission and I was lost. I felt that Jimmy put a lot of pressure on me to finish the test asap. After only about two days of behind the wheel practice, Jimmy told me to go take the DMV test. I did, and I failed the first time. We both knew it wasn't gonna happen. I went back a couple of days later to practice some more on the bus, but it wasn't available. The only practice that gave me was the morning of the test when Jimmy told me to drive the bus to the DMV in San Bernardino. I passed that time. It's a good school and the instructors know what they're doing. However, the two Chinese instructors I met were a couple of the most unfriendly cusses. Jaime was the best instructor there. He's calm, friendly, and encouraging.

Scheduling opens up once a month and you cannot schedule all lessons up front OR schedule for the following month (something that they don't disclose until you've already paid everything up front). So you're at the mercy of what's open/left over for the month or hope to catch the next open date. 2. No one answers the office line. 3. Instructors inform my daughter Sundays are open but the office gives different information. 4. I had to cancel my daughter's driving instruction because she woke up sick with a high fever, but because it's not a "48-hour" notice, I'm charged a $50 fee OR provide a doctor's note. First off, who anticipates their child being sick 48 hours ahead of time. Second, why would I drag my child out of bedrest to the doctor's? Besides that, the instructors (per my daughter) are nice. In my honest opinion, I would not recommend this company to anyone else.
