I had an early lunch here this week. My husband had a fruit cup with very under ripe fruit. I had soup and 1/2 sandwich which I ordered with swiss. We made the mistake of sitting near the computer and the server kept yelling over us to the table next to us. When my lunch arrived with no cheese or condiments, our server told me to let her know if the soup was not hot. I waited forever for my cheese , which the server yelled across the room to ask if there was a charge for it. While I waited for the check, my husband went to the car, I saw the server bring out a chocolate milk and water from the back that she was finger tip gripping from the top. This is so gross and unsanitary. The rule in restaurant service is the top 2/3rds of the glass belongs to the guest. read more

Timing is everything. I arrived at 0750, having headed the warnings that it's difficult to get seated after 0800 on the weekend. Plenty of seats...take your pick. By 0815 it was full...and there are 2 clear reasons why: (1) Really good food and (2) Exceptional people. I had the 2-2-1-1. Eggs were cooked perfectly...and I mean...PERFECTLY! Over-Medium is a lost skill...either cooked too long (Hard) or not long enough (Over-Easy). These were perfect! Bacon was thick and flavorful. Toast was done just right. And, finally, the pancake was delightful. I rarely eat all that's on my plate. But in this case...the only thing left was the decorative fruit slices held together with the American flag. read more

We had brunch here today and it was a good experience. They offer outside seating, but we opted to eat inside. It wasn't overly crowded and everyone wore masks if they were moving around the restaurant. I had the honey fried chicken and waffles. It was very good. My waffle was light with a slight crisp around the edges. The chicken was extra crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. You get a half of chicken, so be prepared. My husband had scrambled eggs with tomatoes, cheese and sausage. He opted for a homemade biscuit that was made onsite. It was big and fluffy. I didn't ask, but assume everything was good since his plate was empty. I would recommend stopping by this local establishment and grabbing a bite. read more

Went on Sunday around 10:30. It was pretty busy even at that hour, but we were able to sit at the bar and order. Very nice lady waiting on us. I had the Deep South country combo and my daughter had Lauren's Tahitian treat. The sausage gravy for my biscuit had a unique flavor. It was definitely not any ordinary gravy. I really liked it. Came to Joe's Diner around 1:30 well after lunch rush. There were two of us and the waitress wouldn't seat us at a small table for 4 because she said she had to save for a larger party of 4. There were no people in line and there were two soon to be three tables for four open. The waitress was rude. We walked out ! Don't need this place. Have eaten here before and the meal was ok. They act like they are a 5 star restaurant instead of the small diner that they are. PS. We are good tippers too read more

Great little spot! Tables preset with menus and covered silverware so you could select your own table. Cuts vintage diner feel to it. I had the vegetable benny, very good! The veggies were done just right- a medley of broccoli, tomatoes, spinach, mushroom and onion. Poached eggs were done perfectly. Sauce complimented the dish. There are not a huge amount of choices for sides. I had the potatoes which were underseasoned. Also tried the complimentary grits. Refills on coffee kept coming which was nice to not have to ask. read more

Creamed chipped beef biscuit. Toto I don't think we are in Long Island anymore. Breakfast all day pancakes, waffles, eggs and omelets any and every style. Hamburgers, sandwiches salads. One wonders how they can cook all the menu has to offer. I think they do it by magic the food is outstanding and the service is like eating at grandma's house. Stop in before or after the beach and they also do take out if you want to bring it to the beach. Breakfast and lunch only they close around 3 PM. read more

They forgot my brothers food, didn't bring coffee/water/soda until 30 minutes after, the waiter had a bad attitude, and I know things happen but the guy wasn't even nice about the situation. As local diners go- this place is nearly perfect. Packed on our visit but plenty of outside seating. I had the one pound burger which was great. Greasy and delicious- onion rings perfect. My son had a huge omelet. Would have liked to try the deserts but none offered. Check delivered very fast- maybe because of the crowd. But no complaints. There's a Whole Foods across the street with plenty of cookies (FYI). read more

We just tried Joe's Diner for the first time. I hate to leave a bad review during difficult times for restaurants but I feel it's very important during these times to keep people safe. First off we sat at the counter and it had not been cleaned, but the silverware, napkins, and menus were placed on top of a dirty counter. When I looked at the floor it also looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. On a positive note the food was very good. The owner spoke with us at the counter and was very pleasant but he removed his mask while talking to us. Our server kept taking off her mask and after my food was placed in front of me she decided to go on her cell phone directly in front of my food and was checking out an outfit and talking to herself and me without her mask. She was literally inches from my food. When she brought our bill we were overcharged and asked her to correct it and when she brought it back she lowered the bill but we were still overcharged! The third time she got it right. I hate to say we won't be back. read more

We stopped here mainly because my husband's name is Joe. We were a little concerned because it was small. But opening the front door, we found it a fantastic experience. There was a side patio but because of August heat we decided to eat inside. We were greeted immediately and invited to sit anywhere. Nice touch... menus are on tables. They offer ice tea, sweet and unsweetened and various Italian coffee options. I tried the sweetened tea and Joe tried the unsweetened. Both of us really liked the teas. There's regular daily food specials. I chose the roast beef sandwich on sourdough bread with side of onions rings. The meat was incredibly tasty and the sourdough was fresh and made the sandwich delicious. We both had the onion rings and they were very good too. Joe had the roast beef spinach wrap. He liked it so well, he didn't pick up his cell phone until the wrap was gone. If you knew Joe, that's saying a lot! All in all, we had such a great time.... We will be back!!! read more

This is hands down best place for breakfast in Naples. There are a wide variety of options including waffles, pancakes, egg dishes, and the best french toast I've ever had. Just had a delicious breakfast outside at Joe's with the family. I had the crunchy French toast with strawberries and whipped cream, and couldn't finish it. Fortunately my husband and my niece came to my rescue. My husband had an avocado, ham and tomato omelette, which he promptly devoured. Both my nieces ordered bennies, and thoroughly enjoyed them. The free grits were a nice bonus, as they were something we wouldn't normally order, but added a little salt and butter and we enjoyed them too. I will be returning here again for sure! read more
