I went to Joe's Nails a few days ago to have a pedicure and my eyebrows waxed. Im always so impressed with the service I get... its like while im doing my feet they put me to sleep, especially Mrs Julia, she does such an excellent job each time. (Hope she comes back soon) Jenny does such a wonderful and perfect job on my eyebrows, I only trust her with this job. I was impressed when I arrived. It is clean and they honor appointments like the other reviews said. However, it was the worst manicure I've ever had, they rip off your cuticles instead of pushing them back or trimming - I left with bleeding cuticles. To add insult to injury, I called and asked specifically about shellac polish. What I got were acrylic nails instead. A truly horrible experience. read more

FOUND MY NEW FAVORITE NAIL SALON!! Tried this place because of its location, but will be back because of the amazing experience! I tend to be picky about my nails, and Jenny does a great job. She listened to what I like (and don't like) and my nails are beautiful. So I ended up scheduling a pedicure for the next week. It was, by far, the most relaxing and thorough pedi I've had! The products were top notch, and the massage was awesome! The salon's atmosphere is very relaxing and professional, with calming music, not loud TV's and loud voices. First & last time. We went for a simple French manicure. Didn't even last three days. My relatives were commenting on how sloppy & uneven my nails looked. My sister joked how she could of painted them better for me for free. Pretty disappointed but you get what you pay for. I went here for the first time with my sister and my boyfriend I had heard good things, but there was nothing good about this place. It was awkward and quiet. No body greeted us or anything. We all got manicures done, I wasnt even asked what shape I would like. No one spoke. It was the worst experience I have had at a nail salon. Nail salons are suppose to be a place where you are pampered. This place sucked. At any other nail salon they would ask about what you would like to drink, have nice customer service and all. So I normally go to Sassy Nails and have been for years. I decided today to try some where new. I stopped in at Joes's Nails off of 620. As I walked in the environment was so relaxing. Greeted right away. I decided on a pedi and a mani for the evening. Boy, was I in love. The hot compress on my neck and shoulders was amazing. I mean who doesn't want one after a long week right! Then I had Lime slices added to my water. Amazing and totally different. Experience so far was a 10. Need I keep going? Well yes as a matter of fact I will. The massage on my legs were just spot on. The assistance from Patsey to pick out color and design was so much appreciated that I've never been offered this elsewhere. I pulled up a photo from Pinterest I wanted and just like that they were all pitching in to make it happen. Now, once I was done with my pedi, we headed over to the mani area and Oh BOY was it magical. From head massage to arms to shoulders to back. Ugh! Magical!!!!! My design was exactly like Pinterest and so much more cheaper than Sassy Nails. From the friendly greeting as you walk in, to the relaxing room you're in, down to the service I would rate them a 10. Never will I return to Sassy Nails or anywhere else for that matter. If you are a return customer you even get a punch card! I highly recommend Joe's Nails off 620! First, I would like to say that I really appreciate that they took me in as a walk-in. They quickly had. everything ready for my pedicure. John did an amazing job. It's obvious that he pays close attention to detail. I haven't had a pedicure in 4 years, so he had a lot to do! My feet look amazing. I love that they put on a timer, so if you get the package for X amount of time, you get at least that. It felt amazing! I could tell they really wanted to do a great job. They offered me water, turned on the massaging chair for me, they even had a cute star shaped bowl with a slice of orange in it for my mani. They did a great job! I would highly recommend. The atmosphere was great. It was quite, the other customers were happy, they had classical music playing, and they didn't spend the whole time talking back and forth (like other places I've been to). Holly and Kim both worked on my mani and it looks great! They even have a stamp card, so if you come 8 times you get either a free eyebrow wax or $8 off! Love it! read more

I called and spoke with Jenny; I had a lot of questions and she patiently answered them . I am quite particular and had a specific way I wanted my nails done. Jenny assured me she would do my nails however I requested and that it was important to her that I be a satisfied customer. I requested an appointment and she made one for me. I walked through the door one minute before my appointment time and she was waiting. She took lots of time letting me pick which color of SNS I wanted- even tried a couple out so I could see them. I was completely satisfied with her customer service and my nails looks great!! While I was there I made an appt for my daughter for gel polish in a couple of hours. She worked her in and my daughter was delighted as well. On a side note: today (2 days later) I spent the better part of the day cleaning my house... scrubbing tubs, sinks, and showers; no gloves. My nails? Look as great as they did when I walked out of the shop. I can't recommend Joe Nail more! Thanks Jenny! read more

This is the best nail salon in the area for price and customer service. Their Raw Earth pedicure rivals upscale salons and is, in a word, heavenly. At $35, it is easy on the pocketbook and one if the best pampering experiences that I have ever had. The salon is clean and the staff is extremely polite. I was there yesterday and got a gel manicure and pedicure. I got the Raw and something pedicure. I don't exactly remember what it was called. I usually go to Aries nails, but they were really busy, and I was in a hurry. So I tried Joes. The salon is much nicer. The staff is very friendly, and they charge $10 more for the experience. The only thing they did different was the hot towels, and stone massage. It was an additional service so the pricing was fair. At Aries I usually ask for additional time with the massage and I get a flower painted. I asked for the flower at Joes, but didn't get one. I like squared nails. Some are squared and some are rounded. They do constantly ask you if it's ok and point to your hand. When I tried explaining what I wanted, she tried, but laughed and did what she wanted anyway. So far none of this is worth a one star rating.. But when I get a gel manicure, I expect it NOT to chip the next day! I mean that is kinda the point to exposing my hands to UV light in the first place, my manicure should last two weeks. I've even had some last three weeks. I don't know what they did different, but I would NEVER go back there or recommend Joes to anyone else expecting quality work. I'm sorry but if I am paying someone $70 to paint my nails, I expect the job to be done correctly. If I want it to look bad, I would do it myself. read more

I was brought to Joes by a friend and I am so thankful. They provide great customer service, a very clean enviroment, and a place to relax. I started going there for just my pedi because I was very unhappy with everywhere else I had been going. After a few visits I had my brows done and was super pleased. Their pedicures are so relaxing and they have never done anything but a wonderful job. After many years of wearing acrylic nails I got tired of dealing with nails popping off and how ugly they were after a week or so (from another salon). I have not had pretty nails for years since. Recently, Joe Nails introduced me to gel nails and I am thrilled with the results. No nails popping off, no ugly nails in between service, and they always look like they were just polished. Went in at 5:19. Didn't leave until after 7. Only wanted a gel polish change on nails and feet. Two young girls were back and forth on my nails and toes. They couldn't remove the old gel. Mind you I have solar powder on my nails. They drilled it all off to we're it looked like I hadn't had a fill in a month. A guy had to fix my nails after the manager was to return to fix them. She said she would be there in 29 minutes and an an hour went by. He fixed my nails at no charge. He did great but the others need to stick to what they know best. Pedicures. read more

I walked in to Jenny's yesterday with not very high expectations. I had just moved into the area and two weeks prior went to a salon a block away. I wasn't happy with the service but then it was fairly cheep from what I had been paying at the Domain. When I walked in, Jenny said hello and asked what I needed. When I mentioned gel and a pedi, I showed her my very bad nail job. I was seated in a pedi chair right away. I was given a warm heat wrap for my neck and the pampering began. I forgot the wonderful lady's name that did my pedi but wow! I upgraded to the deluxe which included a 25 min massage with scrub and lotion. I have never had such a detailed pedi in my life. My feet looked and feel amazing. She did not leave a single rough spot on my feet. While my feet where being worked on, Jenny wrapped my nails in cotton soaked acetone which is the correct way to remove old gel nails. By the time she was ready for me, the old gel just flaked right off. Jenny then proceeded with my nails. She did not rush and took the time to make sure they were perfect. You could tell she was trying to win my business. I read a few reviews where their were complaints about how long it took. Jenny's does not rush pampering. She mentioned if I was ever in a hurry, to let them know and they will recommend a certain treatment that would fit in that time.
