As someone who likes stir fry, I was delighted to discover this restaurant at the mall. The menu is easy to understand and staff were friendly. Be aware the there is a .99 charge for extra rice and $1.99 charge for extra noodles. I appreciate that staff provide customers with gloves to use while gathering items to create their own meal bowl. I enjoyed the variety of fresh ingredients such as carrots, spinach, onions, mushrooms, green onions, green peppers and others available to create your own culinary masterpiece. I was pleasantly surprised to see tofu as a ingredient choice! After gathering my ingredients to create my meal bowl, I watched as an employee cooked my ingredients on a giant cooktop. During the cooking process, other employees asked did I want any additional ingredients added to me bowl such as teriyaki sauce, garlic, or ginger. Once my food was ready, the employee asked if I wanted the noodles topped with sesame seeds to which I replied yes. As with previous visits to this restaurant, the food was hot and delicious. If you're someone who enjoys stir fry, I'd definitely recommend you give this place a visit.

LOVE coming to Jochi!! Hands down the best Mongolian BBQ spot I have ever been to. Most places are rude and stingy. At Jochi we are always greeted by friendly staff. I don't feel rushed at all or like I'm being watched while I prep my bowl. I love that they even provide a glove meaning you can pack your food down! Most Mongolian BBQ spots don't let you do that. They are also fair with the amount of noodles you get! Jochi is always clean and stocked as well. Overall 10/10. We will continue to drive from the Coachella valley to support this business.

I ordered two bowls. Two. I walked away to help my son buy food from another restaurant and I came back to one bowl. I told then young gentleman that I had two bowls and he basically said he must've mixed it together and then put the food in the bag and walked away. Since I didn't feel like causing a scene, I just ordered pizza from Sbarro. It did taste good. I'll probably give them another try.

I was highly skeptical of a Mongolian BBQ at the mall but I was hungry and it looked better than the other spots. I decided to spilt a bowl with my wife and I'm sure glad I did as it was a lot of food. My definitely wouldn't have finished hers and I would have but would have had to take a nap afterwards from being full! The sauces were great and it was cooked perfectly. I'm glad I came.

Initial service a bit slow. Required cashier to explain some detail about restaurant. Food was average on flavor , having served in Okinawa and Korea my husband and I are extremely familiar with the flavors and the meals we ordered were unfortunately lacking.

There are no other locations beside this one and it's an experience. Difference between people asking what you would like on your food and them plating it and then you doing it yourself, is a nice change of pace. You pick the meats that you want yourself ( literally, of course they provide the protection of a glass shield and gloves for you to get the food ) Then veggies ( a lot of options ) and then you can ask the cook what sauces they would recommend. You get rice with your food and have the option of adding it to your food while cooking and of course noodles as well! What a deal for only about $12 ! Honestly, I couldn't even finish it by myself. Good enough for two ppl to eat. Good price/good meat/good veggies/good sauce I just wished the noddles had a bit more flavor but I think it's has to do with the person choosing the ingredients. Depending on what you are choosing the foods gonna come out different. And that to me is pretty cool.

What a day this was. You make your own meal then they cook it right in front of you, the employees are even better than the food very lovely people, I will be sure to to come very often and give them my business, amazing. (Picture of me and one of the caring employees)

I imagine that system cut into their profit, because now the staff adds all the ingredients themselves based on your selections. While the quality of the food remains consistently good, the portion sizes are obviously more in their favor than before. That said, the prices have stayed relatively inexpensive, which makes it an easy place to keep coming back to. The interior, however, has definitely seen better days. The old self-serve area is now blocked off with retail items and extra tables, which feels like a band-aid solution rather than a thoughtful layout. The space could really benefit from a refresh--some updated décor, better organization, and a little more attention to cleanliness would go a long way toward making the restaurant more inviting. It's not dirty by any means, but it doesn't feel particularly polished or welcoming either. Despite these shortcomings, this remains one of my regular spots. The food keeps me coming back, and there's a familiarity and comfort to it that's hard to replace. Still, I genuinely hope they invest in some renovations soon. A little effort could go a long way in modernizing the space, attracting new clientele, and keeping longtime fans like me even happier.

This is a very simple and basic operation with a very tasty finished product. I went in, picked up a fresh and clean bowl, loaded it up with shrimp, ( other meats available) tofu, garlic, scallions, cilantro, broccoli and pints of teriyaki sauce, and loads of fresh garlic & curry sauce. There is a lot of variety in the meats, veggies and sauces, toppings and spices. Then place the bowl and watch the happy and eclectic Luini do his thing as he happily prepares the masterpiece and pours it into a to go container. Nathan grabs it, weighs it( $9.95/lb throws in some free steamed rice and soy & hot sauces and Voila- behold and enjoy this wonderful, tasty and invigorating combo. Mine was approx $20 ( video) and I barely got through half. Loved it. Drinks are extra. Once again this is not a fancy restaurant. No serving staff, no host or hostess , no reservations- just pick your ingredients, then pick them up when done, pay and eat after seating yourself. Drop off the bowls when done by the main door. I loved it! Definitely will be back.

My wife and I just had our first Korean BBQ experience, and we loved it. Everything is self-serve, which actually made the experience even better. Cooking the food together at the table made dinner feel more interactive and fun instead of just sitting there waiting for food to arrive. Our favorites were definitely the Spicy Bulgogi, Spicy Chicken, and the kimchi. The meats had amazing flavor and cooked up perfectly on the grill, and the kimchi had that perfect spicy tang that paired really well with everything. What we didn't expect was how intimate the whole experience felt. Since you're cooking and sharing the food together, it naturally made my wife and I talk more and enjoy each other's company instead of just sitting there with our faces buried in our phones waiting for food to come out. It really turned dinner into quality time. Another great surprise was the price -- less than $80 out the door for the two of us, which felt like a great value for such a fun and memorable experience. If you've never tried Korean BBQ before, this is a great place to start. We'll definitely be back.

It was not too loud in there and the place was relatively empty so that was nice. Biggest disappointment was service, because our table ordered chow mein and the waiter brought us chow fun (flat noodles with gravy). When we told him that we ordered chow mein, he told us that what we ordered was chow fun, so I showed him what we ordered on the menu and he said "you wanted lo mein". While I get that, he spent a minute trying to figure out where the item was and couldn't find it. I reviewed pics on here and it seems like other people got the thick yellow noodles for chow mein. Anyway, they replaced it for us but I overheard the waiter tell his manager that we ordered chow fun by accident. The manager then told us something about "our mistake" upon paying, placing blame on us . The manager was nice about it, but we repeatedly told the waiter chow mein and he kept correcting us to chow fun. Also, there is a section of the menu labeled chow mein and a separate page labeled chow fun. I think I know what we ordered. Disappointing.

Also, they give you a nice jasmine tea and fresh cold ice water and white rice with the lunch special it's affordable, but I think the selection on the bar is a little bit limited. The food was really great and if I could give a 4.5 star, I would only reason I would give a four instead of a five is because it wasn't outstanding amazing or mind blowing the selection on the bar of vegetables was a bit short and then the place was very very outdated maybe they're trying to go for that Bible or just as it's located in San Bernardino but it wasn't very packed when I went in and it was very pleasant vibe in atmosphere. also, the lady at the front me was very polite even walked by to make sure that I failed my bow and warned me that after cooking on the grill that it does shrink in size I would highly recommend this place and I wish I could give them a 4.5 star.

It must have been nearly a decade since I had last dined there. The food was still good, the service was still good, but two things changed that led to my rating; 1) The price for a single diner, regardless of what you eat, is AYCE. With a tip, my dinner cost $30. 2) The sesame biscuit, perhaps my favorite part of the meal, was inedible. Instead of a crispy pouch, it was a flat doughy mess. When I complained, the manager brought me a warmer one, but it wasn't any better. (She explained to me that the biscuits are fried in a different kind of oil that doesn't cook the biscuits the same way.) Parking is wide open. The ambience is the same as it was before the pandemic. I'm not telling you to eat elsewhere. The food and service are still good. I just don't recommend eating here if you are on a budget or prefer a better biscuit. If I do return, it'll be for the lunch special, not the AYCE dinner.
