If you don't like eating veggies... drink them instead My current favorites: 1 Bittermelon Lemon Tea 2 Water Chestnut & Sugarcane Milk Tea with Jelly 3 Tomato & Guava Lemon Tea 4 Golden Berry (Wampee) Iced Tea And have you seen their cute drink stoppers? My stopper collection is growing strong and yes, I'm 100% collecting them all .

Toronto's viral fruit & veggie drinks opened it's second location in Chinatown! This location is bigger than their Scarborough location with some seating and lots of decor to take photos. Currently in their soft opening and they only serve 6 kinds of drinks with 2 exclusive to their DT location - Gooseberry Jasmine Lemon Tea & Golden Berry (Wampee) Iced Tea. They said Golden Berry comes in sweet or salty. I tried it in the sweet version (70% sugar) but it tasted a bit watered down. It was however packed with A LOT of fruit..I'm talking like 70% of my cup was fruit! For future though, I think the salty version will taste better? My friend got the Gooseberry (70% sugar) and while she liked it, she thought it was a bit too sweet for her liking. Their soft opening will start sept 20 (bogo buy 1 get 1 50%) and they have a bunch of games and prizes to be won! They also have the cutest Toronto edition tote bag with inspo of CN Tower, Roger's Center, and UofT!!

The merch that was part of their Grand Opening giveaway.

Jo's Cha, Toronto's viral Veggie-Fruit Tea Beverage shop opens a NEW location in the Toronto Chinatown area. They recently launched 6 new drinks and I got to try the Gooseberry Jasmine Lemon Tea & Golden Berry (Wampi) Iced Tea (came in salty and sweet option) . Both were very refreshing and even though I like them, the Bitter Melon tea is still my top favourite. The store is small because it's designed for grab and go but it's bright with a cute decor. I love how fast the service is and I find the staff friendly. No washrooms here and I suggest taking the tansit coz it's on Spadina Ave., a busy area and sometimes parking spaces are hard to find.

Drinks - Small round table with plush toys and two drinks in cups with Jo's Cha branding, set against a large cartoon character statue.

Harvest Clean Eats

I was venturing around Union Station for lunch and came across Harvest Clean eats!…read more First impression was that they had a lot of options on their menu that also accommodated various dietary restrictions - lots of vegan and vegetarian options were available. I was craving a warm bowl and their new Spicy Miso Salmon Bowl caught my eye. The price of the bowl was on the higher end (~$22 before tax/tip) but not surprised as we're in the downtown core. I will say .. the portions were very generous and all the ingredients were very fresh! I was pleasantly surprised and am satisfyingly full. They had a lot of different vegetable options mixed in and the rice was nice and warm, reflecting the freshness once again. There were a lot of other items on the menu that I was interested in so I would be keen to return, especially for their smoothies. The ladies at the cash were very quick and helpful when I had some questions about my order. I got my bowl pretty quickly (~11:30 am) but can imagine this place gets busy. Luckily they do let you order in advance so may take advantage of that next time.

Food 4/5 Service 5/5…read moreAmbiance 4/5 Harvest Clean Eats is located within the Union Station food court. This is one of the few healthy options at union station. I got the steak salad with some customization (no corn). Just a note for those who have allergies, the steak already has a sauce on it. I was okay with the sauce so I didn't ask for any modification there. I came before the lunch rush but this place was already relatively busy so I had to wait about 10-15 minutes for my food. Given everything downtown is pricey, I'd say Harvest Clean Eats is in line with downtown prices. It costs me under $20 for the salad. I think the quality of the food was good and I was satisfied but not bursting. Portions for the salad were reasonable for the price as well. The person taking the orders at cash was friendly & knew what they were doing. Everything went smoothly. Ambiance is food court ambiance. LOL. Harvest Clean Eats has a few small tables in their area but isn't big enough for a large crowd. So I preferred to order & bring my food back to the office. I would definitely order here again when I want something healthy.
