I was itching for a reason to come back and I'm glad I made it back. I found out that Joyful Bath Co offers free events through several outlets (Facebook, Meet Up, Eventbrite, etc.) almost monthly. I figured this was a great reason to stop back in, plus I needed some new bath bombs. The event was lovely, Rochel and her team really care about the quality of the products as well as their customers. I was able to make my own bath salts, learn how bathbombs are made, as well as a demonstration. Joyful Bath Co appears to do almost everything. I can completely testify to how great the bathbombs and shower melts are. These are definitely high quality products. I saw that they have baby products as well as a pet products... all natural of course! I'm a huge fan of this company and I hope that more people take advantage of the events to learn more about the company.

Ok so first walking in this little store is amazing. All natural soaps, soaks, CBD products....we were in heaven. It was a little strange timing since the two of us who came in here are both moving out of state within a week, but we both decided to get some soap, CBD bath bombs and tea. I don't know what to say other than the CBD bath bombs changed both of our lives. I am a marathon runner and after a long run, I used one of these and my muscles felt so relaxed. After studying CBD in school there are for sure anti-inflammatory compounds in cannabinoids and I could tell. I woke up the next morning feeling relax and rejuvenated after that bath. This place inside is so cute and the man working who was very helpful told me they do parties, favors and host events. I wish I had found this place sooner. Diptyque Georgetown was one of the most disappointing retail experiences I've had. I visited for…read morecandle refills and stood in the store for over 15 minutes without being acknowledged. One sales associate eventually helped me after finishing with another customer, which I appreciated. However, two other associates behind the counter did not acknowledge me at all. What made the situation particularly concerning was that when white customers entered the store, they were immediately greeted and assisted. As a Black customer, the difference in treatment felt noticeable and uncomfortable. At a brand like Diptyque--where customer experience is part of the product--this kind of disparity is unacceptable. I've visited Diptyque locations in multiple countries and have never experienced this level of disregard. This visit felt dismissive and unwelcoming, and it has significantly changed my perception of this location.

They sat me down and analyzed my face and skin tone, and listened to other needs I had (like withstanding sweat, as I teach fitness) and matched me with all the things I needed to cover up the bad bruises - a good sweat-resistant primer, color corrector, concealer, setting powder, an SPF setting spray to protect everything from the sun, and even some basic tools for applying these things that I just didn't have. I felt seen, listened to, and helped. They even applied the makeup for me, which was so nice! Good morning! I went to the Lululemon in the pentagon…read morefashion center yesterday to get a coat that my grandson ordered online from their website. He ordered the coat while we were in transit to the store. So as to make this a quick trip. The coat was $315. The site offered Applepay. So that's what we chose as our source of payment. The payment went through just fine. However, when we arrived at the store the payment looked a little suspect. Because the money was gone, but it didn't show as a purchase. We immediately spoke with a manager. Her name was Ganada. (maybe) Anyway she wrote down our information and said she would check on it and be right back. And she disappeared for about ten minutes. Upon her return, she said that she had spoken with the back office and they told her that they could clearly see the purchase and the $315. However something went wrong, and they could not identify it. So we could not have the coat, nor the refunded amount of $315. She said they would sent my money back in 3 to 10 business days. Now, I ask myself why. I also asked the manager why. She didn't have an answer. She did however, offer me 25% off of the coat if I purchase in the store now. What kind of crackhead do they think I am. Why on earth would I give you more money??? In the end, my grandson has no coat and the money for the coat is somewhere in limbo. How is this remotely fair.
