I explained to her what I was going through and she immediately picked out a concoction suitable for my own personal needs and I am very happy with it so far. I personally feel much more peaceful. I find the herbs and baths to be very powerful, as well as the prayer that came along with my Santa Clara candle. When partaking in the ritual I could feel the energy, power, healing and devotion offered by Santa Clara. I intend to continue to buy stuff from this store. They also offer cowry shell readings which I intend to do as well.

The quality…read moreis beautiful, the service is consistently wonderful, and I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else for my leather journals. But today's experience deserves a special shoutout to Ye and Trey, who were absolutely lovely! I went in to buy my first refillable leather journal and officially joined what I'm calling the "refillable journal club." Ye and Trey spent so much time showing me all the ways I could customize it and really make it my own. I added cute charms and clips, had my nickname embossed on the front, and they even took the time to teach me about pens and fountain pens. I left with my very first fountain pen! What stood out most was how genuinely passionate they both are about what they do. They were so excited for me to start my first little collection book and even welcomed me "to the club." It made the whole experience feel so personal and fun. I probably spent an hour in the store, and the customer service was exceptional. As a business owner myself, I kept thinking that I would LOVE to have Ye and Trey on my team. They were knowledgeable, patient, kind, enthusiastic, and incredibly generous with their time. I've loved this store for years, but they made today's visit especially memorable. I'm already looking forward to coming back, seeing them again, and adding more to my journal. Five stars for the store, and an extra special thank you to Ye and Trey for making my first refillable journal experience such a great one! Best investment and value you could ask for when purchasing for yourself or others!!

I got there right as they opened, and literally spent an hour just slowly wandering through the beauty of all the journals, cards, notebooks, notepads, stickers, pens, paper, and general amazingness. If you're a planner (or pen) junkie, there's literally something for everyone here, and I found their prices to be varied enough that there was something for every budget. Did I need another set of pens, a new sticker, and a purse-sized notepad? Probably not! Did I buy some anyway. Absolutely! Bonus points that they also sell local postcards *and* stamps, so I was able to write a little note to friends and family back home on a DC-themed postcard. This spot will 100% be on my "visit again" list - because really, can you ever have enough journal supplies?!

We were doing a little theme visit, arts and crafts. Earlier we made candles and then we headed to our afternoon reservation to make paint pottery at All Fired Up. Once we arrived we were instructed to pick out our piece we desired. We were seated at the front window, just the two if us. It was nice to sit with each other without others around. I chose two pieces, a topper for $13 and a strawberry container for I think $27. I felt the pricing was extremely reasonable especially since you used their glaze, they fire it, and they set up and clean up for you. They also offer a military discount, which handled around the cost of the tax. The staff were great. They were always making sure we were ok, without being to over the top. They kept things moving. . They do offer "private" parties and birthday parties. The set up was pretty nice, and quaint. There was a large table set in the back. While I was there there was two parties. Each party brought a cake and snacks. There are aprons available and an abundant selection of supplies available. It looks like they also do arts with glass. Parking can be tricky. So I suggest to leave time to navigate that, so you are not late for your appointment. We found street parking a few streets over. But, there was slot a lot where you paid.

The two-hour time limit was very reasonable, and the staff did a great job checking in and reminding us of our time. After finishing, we wrote our names on the bottom, and the staff took care of the rest. They glaze your finished piece, and you can return in about a week to pick it up. The space is small and simple, but it's a great choice for anyone looking for a fun activity or planning a group event. I also found the prices to be very reasonable.

The class had some beginners and also some intermediate throwers and Kiel did a seamless job helping everyone and sharing his expertise.
