I paid $200 for a flower arrangement to accompany the urn. When I met with Ms. Woods in her shop I shared a photo of the urn and emphasized that the event would be a celebration with vibrant colors. I trusted Ms. Woods to design the arrangement. The flower arrangement was delivered to the church on time, but was understated, dingy and not fresh. The roses were dull, scentless and limp; the bases of several of the accompanying flowers were blackened and rusting; and several of the greens were blemished and spotted, and several of their pointed tips had been cut off. Ms. Woods attributed the problems to the wholesaler who provided the flowers and gave me a $55 credit. However, $145 was still far too much to have paid for a stale and blemished flower arrangement for such an important occasion. I strongly support independent community-based small businesses, but I do not recommend Mary Woods Florist. ):
