Love this place so much! It was my first time and what an experience! They have such an amazing selection of healthy plants! The lady working at the counter was super helpful in answering all of my questions and seemed so passionate. The prices at this store was reasonable and I love that they have a rehab cart that has plants at discounted prices. If that is something you're into, this is definitely the place for you. Another thing was that while they do not sell plants by the cutting which I know some do, she was kind enough to offer cuttings that had fallen off that she was propagating. On a hunt for the perfect plant for our living room, my wife, daughter and I visited four plant shops within two hours- Rewild, Little Leaf, She Loves Me and Ginko's Gardens. All were great options, but here's what stood out about Rewild: 1) Plants: Out of all the shops, Rewild had the largest and most diverse plant collection. The shop is larger than Little Leaf being in the Shay and can sell more plants. 2) Service: The woman working was helpful in finding the right plant for us. She also paid attention to our four-year-old daughter and gave her a sticker, making her day! Street parking can be harder to find in this part of town, but keep at it until you find a spot. I've only been to this location twice. The first time I had a great experience one of the ladies was helpful asked if I wanted a bag everything. Unfortunately, the second time I went which was today MDW, so maybe the sales clerk was upset she was working. I came in she said hello and when the second person came in she said hello and asked him if he needed help looking for anything in particular....when I was ready to almost checked out I asked her if she could get me the medium size pot and she just pointed to the corner where they were instead of offering to help me grab it. I went to the corner and had to move bigger pots around to get it. When I finally brought it over she was on her phone and just being extremely unpleasant. Didn't ask if I needed a bag for the plant or pots I got I almost wanted to not even give my money to this store the way she was acting. She was extremely unwelcoming and rude. read more

I used to live down the street from REWILD and many of my plants are from here. My girlfriend and I recently brought a jade plant in that we had purchased from here 5 years ago. The associate Danielle was so welcoming and helped us trim the jade plant and replant the trimmings. She also helped us figure out what pots to get. While she was trimming the plants she took her time explaining what she was doing and gave us a few tips and tricks. I had the urge to fill up my living space with some more plants, so I grabbed a few friends and went over to Rewild. The store itself is pretty small, but it's packed to the brim. They have a good selection of different types of plants both large and small. They offer free repotting with purchase of a pot, and the workers are all very knowledgeable (they even have little care cards that give instructions on how to take care of the plant you bought!). Slightly pricier plants, but the quality is high-- I'm not worried about ending up with gnats or mold if I buy from here. read more

I had walked by this place a gazillion times and finally decided to check it out. It is pretty tiny but stocked with lots of goodies. They also have plenty of succulents which I was very tempted to buy. The staff were very helpful and answered all my questions about general care and how big certain plants would get. I settled on a neon pothos. They helped me choose the pot and potted it for free. The soil was very loose and the pot did fall over on the drive home but it was inside a larger brown bag which saved dirt form getting all over my car. The plant really brightens up our dining room. I did see that they had classes but they are only on weekdays. read more

We visited this Pop-up shop that Rewild has had in Georgetown for the last year. The lady was very friendly, welcoming and helpful! The layout is adorable with the mini greenhouse feel! The plants all look very healthy. They had this amazing Roja Congo that's was stunning! They are moderately priced. We decided on 2 4inch ($16 each) Monstera Deliciosa. While at checkout we noticed that they both had gnats, the lady promptly offered to spray them with Neem oil and offered care instructions for them. I have been looking for a plant nursery in the DMV and I accidentally found this place when I went to my eye doctor. 1. It caught my eye before I went into my doctors appointment because the store is so beautiful. 2. The beautiful lady who helped me and my little boy had so much knowledge about the plants and care. 3. This place is amazing! I recently moved to the DC area and needed some color in my new condo. Not knowing anyone or the area I just moved to during the covid shelter in place order, I wasn't going to be able to go shopping like normal so I first reached out to Rewild via email and got a response within minutes which was the first sign that this place is legit. Later that week I put in an order online since their shop is currently closed. I was a little skeptical ordering plants online but I was not disappointed. Not only did they deliver to my doorstep, they even potted the plants before arrival (I did request that in the special request section when prompted online). I plan on purchasing more in the future and 10/10 recommend. read more

Ariel was better than little leaf which I was happy about and they carried smaller plants which was also nice! The prices were reasonable - a tad expensive for my liking but I rest liked the big plants here! The staff was nice too! Parking literally sucked and the wait to get in took forever! It looked like you could schedule pick ups for plants too which is a nice add if you aren't in the mood to shop and explore - but why not shop and explore in the store!! This is my favorite plant store in the DMV area. The little shop is filled to the brim with beautiful plants and very cool pots. They have anything from a gorgeous 8 foot tall cactus that they got from a special dealer in the Southwest to stag horn ferns to kokedamas to small, easy house plants perfect for beginners. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable. They opened the store to teach people how to care for plants and similarly fall in love with the art of it - so they are always happy to help and answer questions. They'll pot your plants for you and teach you about different soils. They also host classes. I cannot rave more about how special this place and the people in it are. It's not a spot that is selling plants because it's trendy. It's a place where the people truly love plants and the little thrills that come with growing something special in your home. read more

Every employee I encountered offered assistance & seemed genuinely interested in helping out, and were very knowledgeable. My neighborhood plant store moved and had this address listed as the new address but then when I got here it was Rewild instead. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise as the space had a great selection of plants of all kinds, a make your own terrarium bar, and some cute home goods. Lily was really patient and friendly in helping me pick out some plants, telling me about plant care, and potting up them nicely despite it being really busy in the store today. I picked up a few succulents, a rubber plant, air plant, a neon pothos, and some pots - all for very reasonable prices. read more

My husband and I went to check out their "terrarium bar" which gives you all the supplies you need to make your own terrarium for just $30 for a fishbowl size terrarium. This place is capable of turning black-thumbed people like me into responsible plant parents and - dare I say it? - enthusiasts. The selection of plants is amazing - they have some of the most unique ones that I've seen. Lily and Melissa are incredibly friendly and knowledgable and will gladly disrupt their day to tell you everything you need to know about keeping even the rarest of them alive, including whether its right for you based on your life, what part of your room to keep it, how often to water it, and when to repot it. I love that they'll pot your plants for you in the store too - it's a treat to watch them work. They're clearly masters of their craft. I haven't bought one of their pre-arranged bouquets (yet), but will definitely be coming back here to pick up one of their bouquets for my next party! I am so grateful for this shop and its employees. I walked in sharing my woes about being a plant parent and how bad I am at it. One of their employees (I didn't catch her name), helped me in picking one of their succulents and giving my a step by step tutorial on how to repot it and how to care for it. My new go-to flower and plant shop! Just south of the corner of U St and 9th NW, it has an ABUNDANCE of amazing plants and knowledgeable staff to help you make the right selection (in my case, selections). They will pot your plant on the spot, with the correct amount of sand, rocks, dirt (thanks, Melissa!) and Joe went above and beyond in delivering the plants to my condo door. All of their stock is very healthy looking and the majority of their cut flowers are locally grown. They will be offering classes soon in plant care and I definitely plan to attend. I actually stumbled across this looking for Urban Jungle, which is apparently a pop up store so finding it was impossible. But I'm so glad my map took me here instead! Decent selection of both succulents, cacti, and other plants. I'm no expert in the plant department but they seem reasonably priced. I got 3 mini cacti, a pot, soil, and the lady working planted them all for me with soil. It came out to just under $60. There was a huge cactus (like 3-4 feet tall) there that had already been purchased for only $55! I hope when I come back they have another just like it that's available because it was adorable. read more
