    Jade plant trimmings re-potted
    Kelsey A.

I used to live down the street from REWILD and many of my plants are from here. My girlfriend and I recently brought a jade plant in that we had purchased from here 5 years ago. The associate Danielle was so welcoming and helped us trim the jade plant and replant the trimmings. She also helped us figure out what pots to get. While she was trimming the plants she took her time explaining what she was doing and gave us a few tips and tricks. We really appreciated her patience, positive attitude and her knowledge.

Such a cute local plant store. The staff were super nice. I loved that they potted the plants for you as part of your purchase and thought they had a great selection!

I had the urge to fill up my living space with some more plants, so I grabbed a few friends and went over to Rewild. The store itself is pretty small, but it's packed to the brim. They have a good selection of different types of plants both large and small. They offer free repotting with purchase of a pot, and the workers are all very knowledgeable (they even have little care cards that give instructions on how to take care of the plant you bought!). Slightly pricier plants, but the quality is high-- I'm not worried about ending up with gnats or mold if I buy from here.

I had walked by this place a gazillion times and finally decided to check it out. It is pretty tiny but stocked with lots of goodies. They also have plenty of succulents which I was very tempted to buy. The staff were very helpful and answered all my questions about general care and how big certain plants would get. I settled on a neon pothos. They helped me choose the pot and potted it for free. The soil was very loose and the pot did fall over on the drive home but it was inside a larger brown bag which saved dirt form getting all over my car. The plant really brightens up our dining room. I did see that they had classes but they are only on weekdays.

We visited this Pop-up shop that Rewild has had in Georgetown for the last year. The lady was very friendly, welcoming and helpful! The layout is adorable with the mini greenhouse feel! The plants all look very healthy. They had this amazing Roja Congo that's was stunning! They are moderately priced. We decided on 2 4inch ($16 each) Monstera Deliciosa. While at checkout we noticed that they both had gnats, the lady promptly offered to spray them with Neem oil and offered care instructions for them. Promo - They offer a tote bag for $15 that offers a 20% discount when used upon its return for future purchases. You can also get the tote bag for free when you purchase four 4inch plants.

I have been looking for a plant nursery in the DMV and I accidentally found this place when I went to my eye doctor. 1. It caught my eye before I went into my doctors appointment because the store is so beautiful. 2. The beautiful lady who helped me and my little boy had so much knowledge about the plants and care. 3. Even though it was almost closing time--I did not feel rushed or anything. She was AMAZING. 4. There was such an array of different plants!!! I was shocked!! 5. They have locally handmade pots. They also pot the plant for you. Thanks so much! I will be back!!!

This place is amazing! I recently moved to the DC area and needed some color in my new condo. Not knowing anyone or the area I just moved to during the covid shelter in place order, I wasn't going to be able to go shopping like normal so I first reached out to Rewild via email and got a response within minutes which was the first sign that this place is legit. Later that week I put in an order online since their shop is currently closed. I was a little skeptical ordering plants online but I was not disappointed. Not only did they deliver to my doorstep, they even potted the plants before arrival (I did request that in the special request section when prompted online). I plan on purchasing more in the future and 10/10 recommend.

This location is 2749372947 times better than the Georgetown location but what is up with this cute stores being so small!! Ariel was better than little leaf which I was happy about and they carried smaller plants which was also nice! The prices were reasonable - a tad expensive for my liking but I rest liked the big plants here! The staff was nice too! Parking literally sucked and the wait to get in took forever! It looked like you could schedule pick ups for plants too which is a nice add if you aren't in the mood to shop and explore - but why not shop and explore in the store!! I would love to see more plant shops in DC and maybe a little bigger with better parking

My partner and I were looking to welcome some new, easy going plants into our (very shady!) home in Capitol Hill. Lily and Kalei from Rewild were exceptionally helpful in helping us pick out the right plants for our home. The process started with an in-home consult with Kalei, then picking out the right plants with help from Lily at our neighborhood store. Both Lily and Kalei were patient, friendly, and went above and beyond every step of the way! Could not recommend this service and store enough. Thank you so much!

Awesome place, amazing plants and great customer service! They didn't just sell me the plant, they educated me about it with so much knowledge and patience. I love my new green family addition and sure will be back for more!

Walked through the plant care with my purchase, a very nice personal touch.

I went in looking for a few low maintenance plants and Cole walked me through several options with real care and attention. I picked up a Hoya Compacta Hindu Rope, a ZZ plant, a Philodendron Lemon Neon, a Bromeliad, a Crassula Jade, an annual, and a six inch Euphorbia Firestick cactus. Every plant looked healthy and well cared for. Since it was a quiet Wednesday morning, I got very personalized attention, but honestly the service here is always excellent even when the store is busy. The staff makes every customer feel valued, no matter how many people are in the shop. The prices are higher than big box stores, but the quality and care of the plants make it worth it. This is easily one of my favorite plant shops in DC and I always leave feeling excited about my new plants. Thank you again to Cole for the great recommendations and wonderful customer service.

We attempted to remove some ourselves but were quickly overwhelmed by the task. I researched native plant landscapers and came across Swamp Rose Co-op. After reaching out, Jeff, one of the owners, came to do a site visit. He was thorough in his presentation of plans and this February we had them come and do bamboo removal and plant some native trees and shrubs to act as a privacy screen. The Swamp Rose team was amazing! They pulled out over 2 tons of bamboo and roots! They planted native trees and shrubs which are thriving. Our backyard woodland meadow dreams are coming true. We have the team coming back in a few weeks to rip out the standard plants seen in the Silver Spring area (liriope, lilies, weeds) to replace with a native garden and we can't wait. One of my favorite aspects of this company is it is a co-op. The employees can be owners, and those who aren't are still paid a living wage as calculated by the MIT living wage calculator. They do excellent work! It is hard to find a native landscaper but this team is fantastic.
