I will exclusively be purchasing from this venue from now on. For my fiancee's birthday, I had Park deliver some exceptional orchids. Often times when flowers arrive, you are disheartened because, in absence of purchasing in person, your money feels to have been misplaced. Not at park. The value was clearly seen in the product. I had reason to go to the location in person, and the entire store is a delight. I left with more orchids and some exceptional long stem roses. The staff is friendly and highly knowledgeable. They have a concept akin to an open-kitchen restaurant where you see the assembly and arrangement while you wait. I cannot speak highly enough about Park. I don't think I would even consider an alternative, no matter the situation, occasion, or price.

Allan Woods Flowers had our attention before we even walked in. Walking in you are immediately drawn in by the layout. House plants and beautiful orchids greet you at the front alongside the kindest individual who made us excited about what was next. The blooms!! So many blooms in the fridge and outside that you can become overwhelmed in the best way. And they were all discounted. The roses were our immediate want. So many blush pink large mostly opened blooms screaming take me home and of course I had to listen. White, dark pink, red, and every other color in large and small varieties. They did not have my favorite bloom, peonies, but the selection more than made up for it. I hand picked six and my friend did the same. Going deeper into the space we discovered florists building the most beautiful arrangements. That is when I called my mom on FaceTime. She is a fellow florist and could name every single bloom she saw. I think that is where my love of flowers comes from. We grabbed our blooms for a get together we were heading to and made a quick pit stop at Union Market before heading out. The blooms had us moving with purpose. Allan Woods wraps everything in brown paper with thoughtful ribbon that elevates the whole experience. You leave feeling happier than you came in. And if you are lucky enough to share them, the smiles keep going. My mom on FaceTime and the friend I delivered them to can confirm that for sure. Allan Woods Flowers is the kind of stop that sneaks up on you and sends you home smiling. A bloom worth gathering for and the perfect way to elevate your next one.

In June 2025 I used Mary Woods Florist for my sister's memorial service based on a recommendation…read morefrom a member of my faith community. I paid $200 for a flower arrangement to accompany the urn. When I met with Ms. Woods in her shop I shared a photo of the urn and emphasized that the event would be a celebration with vibrant colors. I trusted Ms. Woods to design the arrangement. The flower arrangement was delivered to the church on time, but was understated, dingy and not fresh. The roses were dull, scentless and limp; the bases of several of the accompanying flowers were blackened and rusting; and several of the greens were blemished and spotted, and several of their pointed tips had been cut off. Ms. Woods attributed the problems to the wholesaler who provided the flowers and gave me a $55 credit. However, $145 was still far too much to have paid for a stale and blemished flower arrangement for such an important occasion. I strongly support independent community-based small businesses, but I do not recommend Mary Woods Florist. ):
