    Cross arrangement
    Briseida A.

I live in California and placed the other thru them to be delivered and I was able to do it over the phone and it got delivered the same day. Beautiful cross arrangement, thank you for your service provided

Beautiful floral arrangements for the pew candled.

This is a family-owned business where you get great service and great value for price. We ordered the flowers for our wedding and wedding reception from them. They were delivered to the church in DC on time and were absolutely perfect. They do truly quality floral design and charge less than other florists for top quality work.

This was my first time ordering flower delivery from Super Value Flowers. I could not be more pleased. The reasonably priced bouquet of lilies was outstanding, with many open and many yet-to-open flowers. I like supporting local businesses and this is one that I will return to whenever I need flowers. Thank you Super Value!

The young ladies were super helpful and the hours they're open really came in the clutch. Definitely my go to flower spot for now on.

Awesome hand lotions, hair perfumes, Turkish towels (I got a great grape [okay, just plain purple] and pink one that's got teal on the other side -- just beautiful and so soft, ooh, what luxury! Turkish towels are awesome because they take up less space and dry far more quickly than other, thicker towels, so of course they end up both smelling much better and being a lot more hygienic. The orange-scented hand lotion is super-luxe, too, with a rich creamy feel and excellent scent. I got the amber hair perfume. The rugs are really nice, with just enough texture balanced together with softness and sturdiness all together in one piece -- and there is an amazing selection of different colours of these area rugs available, all rolled up nicely in a cool basket. Speaking of baskets, they've got them! The baskets have a real beachy vibe and would be perfect for a day (or a week, or more!) at the beach. They're real sturdy and stand up well on their own, unlike some other floppier baskets or of course beach bags out there .... The baskets are also really good for shopping, too. There are cookbooks, fun cooking and cleaning supplies such as the never-before-seen-by-me ravioli-shaped sponges and oh-so-many things to explore, I wouldn't want to ruin it for you by telling you more! The person I encountered was super-helpful, friendly, nice, accommodating, etc. The parking is plentiful (At least it was when I was there.), and if you like pretty, flowery things, there is also a lovely gardening center just steps away ... plus lots of other stuff nearby to explore in Kensington! Very glad I stopped by! Only thing is: it's closed on Mondays. Oh, and I love the name, too! Olive & Loom -- even the name has texture and beauty in it .... A very 'Yay' type of find, indeed! Just lovely. :-)

It's little odds and ends that I think I need and only I understand what I am looking for. In hopes of finding a decent spot to browse, I came here. Now, although they didn't have anything that I wanted to look for, I did spend a good amount of time browsing. That is the one thing that you will need when you enter here, time. There is a ton of stuff in here that you can easily lose yourself in. However, if you are claustrophobic, bypass this place. The aisles are extra small and this could be on the verge of a hoarder case. You kind of have to go with the flow of everyone else in the store, and that means you really can't retrace your footsteps if you need to. Unless you are the only person in the store, which is a rarity. The owner of this place is amazing. She is so full of life and greets everyone that walks in the door. She makes sure that you have what you need even if you didn't expect that you needed it. If you have some time, give this place a shot as there are things in here that you wouldn't expect to find.

I woke up with that yearning inside, and it began to consume my thoughts as I lay in bed. I…read morethought the restless feeling would go away, but it didn't. Never mind, I knew what this was about and I knew the only thing that would satisfy it - I needed a new piece of jewelry, but what specifically? I'm a gold girl, not really into gems, but all the sudden I decided at 7 in the morning that I was in need of a lucky charm, maybe cause I got a test coming up, but yeah, I needed some kind of lucky talisman. I lay there deep in thought as my dog whined and nudged me to take her to the park and it came to me. Jade, my mind told me, yes you are in need of some jade. I quickly shot out some text messages. [To Taiwanese friend] Hey, Z, where do your peoples buy jade in this area? Zeena: They don't. [To Vietnamese friend] Hey, where can I buy jade around here? Nam: Eden Center in VA. Don't know anywhere around here ****Commonwealth NOT happening**** Nam: Actually, check around Univ. & Piney Branch I hit up the MVA (licensed expired 2-3 months ago) and the bank. Then I drive to the intersection of University Blvd & Piney Branch. I drive it up and down around 3 times and spot this place. Little Vietnamese Grandma (hereinafter "LVG") buzzed me in. She was nice and showed me the small selection of jade. They had the ever popular round discs, and the jade buddhas (thought of Tina). Knowing really nothing about the varying grades of jade, I did know that I wasn't wowed by this jade. It was very dark green or inconsistent in coloring, and I envisioned wanting the lighter jade. Also the meager gold settings weren't so hot. Plus the prices, she started around $200 and I had a feeling LVG was giving me the gringo-rip. I know jade not to be an expensive stone. She would offer me "deals" for $150. I'm not a bargainer, that's one skill I'm not interested in cultivating. Plus in my third world travels, I don't like to bargain - I figure they need the money (yeah, you heard me, I still say third world - nothing sums it up better). They also had a case with these white carved pendants set in gold. Looked pretty - then all the sudden I realized I was quite possibly looking at ivory. I ask LVG what it is. She says "I don't know, I don't know" and something I don't understand. I interrogate her further - "Animal?" I say. "Ah, elephant" she says while patting her back as if to show me which part of the elephant it came from. Actually, now that I think of it maybe she was making a trunk motion with her arm. Regardless, that was out. I thanked her and departed. My cell buzzes, I answer and complain to my friend how I really need some jade and I'm out of leads. She tells me I need to go to a pawn shop - in a diverse area. I stammer "p-p-pawn shop???" almost insulted by this suggestion. I've never been in a pawn shop in my life. I mean why don't I smoke some crack too if I'm on my way to the underworld? She insists not just criminals deal with pawn shops - that it's like a thrift store with electronics & jewelry. She tells me to go to one in Wheaton. I sit in my car and ponder for a few minutes as I sip my cappuccino. Is this wrong? Would it be bad karma? What if someone sees me? Is this what they mean when you've hit rockbottom? What would my mother say? My drive for jade is stronger. I start the ignition. To be continued...
