As part of my recent rash of bad car juju, I developed a mysterious 6-inch crack on my windshield the other day when I was out of town. My car was sitting in my parents' driveway, so I have no idea how it happened. Anyway, JN Phillips provides mobile glass service, so they will come direct to your home or work--wherever your car may be parked. I was able to get prompt same-day service when I called. The repair guy called me when he was downstairs and got right down to work. The entire windshield was replaced in one hour. It took another hour to dry, and I was ready to go! Great service. In Massachusetts, windshield replacements/repairs are typically included in the comprehensive coverage of your auto insurance policy, so I paid nothing. Note: During the month of October, they are donating a portion of the proceeds from windshield replacements to a breast cancer charity. Commendable! read more

I had my windshield replaced by this company recently, They came to my home to do the work with their mobile service. I had requested to reschedule my appointment if it rained but they still showed when it did, so I had them do the work in my garage. The Glass was installed adequately but they left glue residue in several places which I had to clean off myself and they were not very thorough. The main problem we had with them is that the technician was careless and drove the company van over my grass on the side of the driveway and created deep trenches from the weight of the vehicle and tore up the grass. there was plenty of room for him to get by the vehicle in the drive but he decided to drive over the grass...They have been very difficult to deal with regarding a fair settlement of the damages, they wanted to send out a landscape company to put sod down but did not provide any details of what they were going to do despite several requests, nor have they given me the name of their insurance company. We don't have sprinklers and its a bad time of the year to lay down sod unless you can water it several times a day. I requested a cash settlement so I could have it done on my own timeline in the fall or spring when the hot weather is behind us, but they would not agree and are not being cooperative. I will likely have to take them to small claims court to settle the matter. How they handle issues like this says a lot about their company culture and philosophy and I will not use them again or recommend them to anyone. I had the unfortunate luck (or lack thereof) to find a mysterious crack in my windshield. I assumed, like everything else, that this would be a huge pain in my butt to deal with but I will give JN Phillips 5 stars for proving me wrong! I submitted a request for service on the JN Phillips website 9:15PM. I received a call the following day 8AM - love it. They said they could send their repairman to my place of employment within the next 2-6 hours AND they took care of my insurance claim. The repairman was incredibly friendly and respectful and did a FANTASTIC job. He was able to replace my windshield in 35 minutes. All I had to do was unlock the car for him and I went back to work. He did the work and locked up the car when he was done. I don't know what kind of voodoo he used, but I found my parking permit, EZ pass, and inspection stickers carefully placed on the new windshield fully intact - I'm amazed. I'm very happy with my experience, so I would definitely recommend their services. read more

What lousy service! My appointment was at 8:00, they unlocked the door at 8:10, said it would be ready in under an hour. Got my car at 9:45! Said I thought it was poor customer service, and just got a blank stare. Went to the website to take a survey, and you couldn't take the survey unless you had an invoice number, which they didn't provide. Got time to spare, and don't like service? SCAM or totally INCOMPETENT? JN Phillips Auto Glass quoted me a price of about $75 to to fix a chipped windshield. When I came out to meet the repairman (they came out to my office), he said the windshield had broken during his attempt to repair it. He already installed a NEW windshield at a cost of $300+. read more

So I wanted to start off with the fact that this is my first review. I am an avid yelper but first time reviewer. I hope that kind of helps put in perspective my experience with JN Phillips. First off the site was very easy to navigate. I put in the details to my car and submitted my request. Literally (not figuratively) within seconds, I received a phone call. It was JN Phillips following up with my request asking to schedule a time for them to come fix my window. They even helped submit my claim to the insurance company and that was it. The closest thing to automatic that I have ever come across in a customer service field. The day of the appointment I got a call from the technician telling me that he was here. As soon as I met up with him he assessed the issue and got to work. He said he would be done in 45 minutes and was finished closer to 30 minutes. I signed the paper and that was the end of it. I hope this place never changes and I will always use them for as long as I live here. read more

Scheduled service for my suv at work for the morning time slot 8-12. Drove that vehicle to work just for that purpose. Did not receive a call or service. Called three times try to get an answer, was told I would get a call from the driver which didn't happen. Poor customer service. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Pathetic. read more

My passenger side window was smashed on a Thursday evening, and I contacted JN Phillips for assistance. Within 5 minutes I had an estimate and a scheduled appointment. I paid out of pocket as insurance did not cover. Everyone I spoke to and worked with was friendly, courteous and professional. This includes: the customer service rep, location manager, and auto-glass technician. I made an appointment for a Saturday morning, and someone from the store contacted me to see if I wanted to have it repaired on a Friday instead. The technician who came and repaired it on Saturday did an excellent job, and vacuumed the entire back seat area after replacing the window. I could not recommend this company or this particular location more highly!!! read more

Got 8 AM appointment for repair of 3/4 in. star crack in windshield. Told it would take 20 min. Took more than double that and made me late for work. Told the crack would disappear 80-90%. Crack is still there 100%. Told the crack would not expand after repair. Now I will always wonder about that. Very unhappy with service and results. read more

Technician almost certainly stole gift cards out of the car. Asked him about it and he denied it and I called and spoke to the manager who took the side of the tech. After 2 days of searching there is no way they went anywhere else. I'd hate to be wrong and wrongly accuse but there's just no where else they'd have gone. read more

Had the unfortunate luck of windshield crack right after a snow storm so I called JN Phillips, spoke to Shawn and then Jason, absolutely courteous and explained allt he details. Because it was an extremely cold day they couldn't do the the on site (outside) job which was fine. Went to their garage and they took very good care of replacing the windshield on time. Also have wifi at their shop for customers so I was able to keep working. Thank you ! This is my second time with JN Phillips and both times the experience has ben wonderful. Someone smashed my car window and stole stuff from my car while I was hiking yesterday... Traumatic! I expected to be driving around with no window for a lot longer, but these guys were amazing. My insurance agent suggested them to me, and I called at around 3pm. The guy on the phone was VERY nice. Ordered my glass right away, and I had a repairman come out to my work before 5pm. The repairman was incredibly nice, thorough, and fast! He was done in about 20 minutes, and looks like a job well done. He even vacuumed out the shattered glass from inside my car. Terrible experience with the vandalism and robbery, but GREAT experience with JN Phillips. I didn't have to do any paperwork; they bill insurance directly. Could not have been easier. read more

Had my auto glass replaced today by Kevin at JN Phillips. Very fast quick polite and courteous. I chose to have the work done at the shop because of nearby errands and shopping. Very glad I did. They helped relieve me of concerns it would not be covered by my insurance and made sure my personal stickers were transferred. I feel terrific about recommending them to others. I already knew about on site windshield repair in general, but J N Philips was perfect. My online request was followed up by a phone call within 30 minutes to confirm a time (the next day) and place. They set up everything with my insurance company, and the technician remembered to call me 5 minutes before his arrival so I could meet him by my car in a municipal lot. The technician was friendly and professional. When I returned to the car at the end of my workday everything looked untouched - except no more crack in the windshield! He had replaced my inspection sticker, my Fast Pass, rear view mirror, AND the oil change sticker too. Not a single hair - and there are many from my dog - was out of place. I cracked my windshield and called my insurance company for a replacement. They don't have anything till last Thursday and they gave us a time from 8 AM to noon. I was going to go into work after the windshield was done but sadly they never showed up. We called to complain because I wasted a day from work to wait for these people and they never showed up. They offered again to come on Monday between 8 AM and noon. Monday comes, no call again between 8 AM and noon. They said that they had the wrong phone number, When we changed it on Thursday when they didn't show up the first time, And the guy said that he couldn't find our car in the parking lot. We called the place back and said that he never showed up and we would like it done ASAP, the receptionist called the guy who is supposed to do our windshield to come back and he didn't want to do it because it's going to rain and suggested for us to bring it to a shop. Yikes! A broken windshield! I went to Phillips on Main Street Tuesday morning. They came to my office to replace it today. The installer had it done properly and exactly as scheduled.
