Real Auto Glass really helped me out. They were extremely responsive and very prompt in having my passenger side window replaced after it was vandalized and some desperate and unfortunate person was looking to steal my stuff. When I initially made my appointment, it was not only very easy; but they were the quickest company who could schedule me in to have my window replaced. At first, I was told that it would take approximately 2-3 hours to repair, but they had it done within 1 1/2 hours which is incredible. It's been over a week and the glass is PERFECT! They did an excellent job cleaning up the glass, but I ended up claiming my son's car seat because of some safety concerns I had. The only hard part was finding a place to chill at while waiting for the repairs to be made. So if you have a friend who can pick you up and drop you off--or you are willing to pay for an Uber ride, then it won't be a big deal. I ended up dining at a local diner down the street. I plan on coming back here again if I ever need future glass replacement services again. read more

My windshield replacement with Safelite was a disaster due to subpar material and workmanship. They never really responded to clean up their mess, so I had to look for another glass shop to fix their mess. After working with my insurance company to look for "preferred" glass shops, I tried my luck with Real Auto Glass. They took care of the insurance paperwork, and they honored my request to install OEM windshield, which would take a few days to arrive. Throughout the process, they were very professional in terms of communication, and I was able to set up an appointment as soon as the glass arrived. Due to the need for ADAS calibration, I had to drop off the car at their Wilmington location (which was a little tricky to find), but they gave me clear instructions. They finished the installation and calibration in a little more than 2 hours. The finished product looked great, and their workmanship appeared to be miles ahead of Safelite. My windshield was hit with a baseball causing a long, thick crack down the middle plus it was smashed where the ball hit it so I wanted this fixed as soon as possible. My insurance company now uses "Safelife" & they told me Safelife wouldn't be able to replace the windshield for about 2 weeks. I looked at Safelife reviews & most of them are not so good, plus, I didn't want to wait that long since the windshield was in bad shape. I then looked at some local auto glass places & came across "Real Auto Glass" in Everett which was close by. I looked at their reviews & all of them were pretty good. I called Real Auto Glass & spoke to Frank who was very nice & he took all the info from me & said he would order the windshield & get back to me. Well, Frank replaced my windshield within 2 days with no problem. I was very grateful that he got this done so fast. Real Auto Glass was very helpful when my windshield needed to be replaced. They were able to order and have the correct windshield within a day (which is especially impressive because there are apparently 14 different windshields available for my type of car). When I got there they replaced my windshield quickly and I was on my way within 45 minutes. They even transferred my registration sticker to my new windshield! If my windshield is ever cracked again (fingers crossed it won't be) I'll definitely be back to Real Auto Glass. read more

Took the advice of 25 Yelp reviews and glad I did. Hector did so many things right I thought I would just list them: 1) called them Friday and got a Monday 1-3 window appointment with the mobile van 2) Hector called me at 11:00 to say the glass was not in...but he still planned on making the appointment window. 3) Got a text at 1:00 saying they were on their way. 4) Totally professional job included: A) Great prep job with removal of the old window, clean up of the metal casing B) applied heated caulking C) cleaned and applying the new window D) cleaned up all of the broken glass in the car and on the ground. So better timing, communication, preparation and clean up than I expected and all at a lower price than the big national stores. I hope the collision repair work on the driver side quarter panel will be even half this easy. read more

I went to Real Glass when my sunroof glass was cracked. I brought it to RG, they fixed it and I went home. The following day, I noticed that my sunroof wasn't closing all the way, I kept hearing clicking. I brought it back and the OWNER told me that it was a manufacturer issue and that I had to contact Ford. Weird because it was fine before I brought it there? He insisted. I Went to Ford, when I told them where I got the glass fixed and they immediately rolled their eyes. They took my car and the next day called me and told me that RG was careless and lazy and just installed the sun roof without clearing the track. Ford cleaned it, superlubed it and only charged me for half an hours work. The owner at RG is careless and dismissive. I would highly suggest going ANYWHERE else. read more

They drove all the way into Boston to pick up my car, took it back to the shop in Everett to work on it, and when I told them I had no way to get out to Everett to pick it up, they drove the car back to me in Boston, all at no additional charge. I have *never* had a mechanic offer to pick up and drop off my car before. Also, while they couldn't fix one of the problems with my car (a broken ac/heater), they quickly found someone else who could at a very reasonable rate. Nice guys. I called around to many shops with a specific brand windshield which included certain features. The fastest many of these shops could service my truck was in 2 days. When I called Real Auto, they were very professional and told me they could have the name brand windshield I was looking for installed in the comfort of my driveway the very next day. They gave me a 3 hour window in the morning and they showed up in time. I did a walk around with the technician to confirm there were no scratches and he was very professional. I even followed the technician around my truck as he removed and replaced my windshield. He was very confident in his skill and didnt mind me supervising. Overall the job was pretty much perfect. A little small plastic clip did snap off the windshield plastic gutter while it was being removed but mistakes happen. All the tools utilized were very unique to each step of removing the windshield so you can rest assure they have the right tool for the job. The technician reapplied my remote starter antenna, EZ pass and inspection sticker on my windshield exactly where I had them. After the windshield was installed the technician cleaned the windshield on the exterior and interior. As to their communication with my insurance company, they did all the work. All I gave them was a referral number and they handled the rest. All I had to do was sign the work order. Overall I will give them 5 stars even though the small clip snapped from the windshield gutter. That's tough for me to handle and yet Im still giving them 5 stars. As a woman, it's a guarantee auto shops will try to rip you off when you come lone. Often times, I text/call a male friend or family member to know if a price is reasonable or if I should get a service done. Before I came to this shop, I shopped around to a few places getting estimates of how much would it cost to replace my window regulator. My window was stuck and wouldn't go up. This was my last stop and I found the price to be reasonable. Frank, I believe he's the owner was nice enough to put my window up before I got it fixed and seemed friendly and genuine. He also wasn't pushy and tried to sell or push any service on me or anything. I had my radiator replaced later on and so far so good. He replaced my windshield as well. I don't believe they specialize in foreign vehicles and I think they don't provide certain services like oil changes,etc. read more

This place is great!. They had my window replaced in one afternoon. They went above and beyond. My car is a rare car. I went to four other places, three of them couldn't even find the replacement window! They said there weren't any in stock nation wide! Another place gave me an $800 dollar estimate (for a back window) an again they gave me the "it's a rare car" line. I went to Real Auto Glass and they told me they could have the replacement part in for the same day. For less than half the other estimate. I dropped my car the next morning and by four o'clock my window was replaced, and tinted and looks even better than before. Service was great, Jay and Frank were knowledgeable and nice. My car got broken into. My insurance company couldn't find anyone to fix it that day, but Real Auto Glass came the next day. Hector, the technician that worked on my car called me when he was on his way. Got to my car when he said he would. AND did the job in an extremely timely manner. I had to go somewhere before he was finished and asked him to lock my keys in the car and put the keys under the mat (I took a spare key). He did everything I asked and even cleaned out the glass! I have to honestly say that he was the most professional and cheerful window repairman I have ever met. I'm not exaggerating, the service i received was top notch.
